This was a rough appointment. I called for an appointment and was delighted that there was an opening with Mary the next day. It started out well, I explained what I wanted and showed photos. She was kind, had lots to tell me about her life story, kids, in-laws and whatever else came to mind. The treatment for the hair consult as well as anything to do with touching my hair was where it got rough. She pulled my hair, whapped my in the head with brushes, the hair dryer and curling iron. The shampoo process was so painful with all the hair pulling and her whacking my head. My neck was sore for 2 days after the appointment from where she dug her fingers into me. She started cussing while telling me her stories. It was really kinda frightening and the first time I ever thought about ending a hair appointment early and walking out. When all was said and done, the bronde balyage we agreed on was mostly brown with red highlights. I wanted to cry. That is 2 hours and change and over $300 that I'll never get back. read more

Today I had a massage with Ben - great way to start a Sunday. The new space was roomier and it just felt more tranquil. Ben as always was amazing - so professional and concerned for my comfort through out. He's great at communicating when he is working out a knot or that an area is tighter then previously. Another nice aspect is that he takes the time to know his clients and remembers issues from previous appointments. I saw the new salon today and I have to say it is stunning. So classy and elegant. They even have an alcove for a Barber with a dedicated TV for sports. The rest of the areas are laid out well and really help enhance the experience. The new space for massage was roomier and it just felt more tranquil. Best news they will eventually have a separate spa area - Hello Bliss!! read more

DO NOT LET KARMYN TOUCH YOUR HAIR. I had a horrible experience, I went in for a balayage and showed her multiple pictures of what I wanted. She charged me $200 and ruined my hair. She only colored my bangs yellow and nothing else. I tried calling and texting and was ignored. After calling multiple times she said she couldn't fix my hair and the only way she would was if I pay AGAIN. I went in so she could at least fix my bangs and she was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, she didn't even want to wash up the toner which took 1 minute to apply. She sent me home to wash it myself because she had "plans". I will never come back to this place again. It's the first time somebody ruins my hair and is not willing to fix it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Karmyn or this place at all. She said there was nobody else I could complain to since they work independently and that I was stuck with the horrible work she did. I needed a haircut before my daughter's wedding. They assigned me to a new stylist who was awful; she got in my face and was really weird, didn't listen to what I wanted, and basically butchered my hair. It was cut too short to do what I wanted for the wedding, and my hair looked horrible in the pictures. I can't even look at them. I called and complained and was told the manager (Kelly? Callie?) was on vacation and would get back to me. She never bothered. I will NEVER go back there. read more

I had a really terrible experience, and my hair looks worse then when I went in. I went in to bring my blonde lighter, and touch up my roots. I'm already a pretty light blonde, I've been having blonde done for a long time. I had let it grow out for awhile and had about 2 inches of root growth, and my blonde had began to get warmer. I went in for a consultation originally and was very clear about what I wanted, I showed pictures, and said I want my roots blended out into my hair, so that I don't have a blunt line when it begins to grow again, and that I wanted an all over much lighter blonde. I specifically said a step beneath platinum. From the jump it didn't seem like she cared what I wanted, but I was told shes the best with blond, so I tried to trust that she was probably skilled and just didn't have much patience. The day of my appt she texted me to delay 30min, that's fine I had no problem being flexible. Once I get there, I was left waiting an additional 15-20 min, the whole experience felt as if she would rather be doing anything else. Her and other stylists were trash talking customers throughout, and every time she stepped away it felt like she really took her time. Honestly thought I can forgive the weird uncomfortable energy if my hair came out good. At the end initially I thought it looked good, I immediately realized it wasn't the tone I had been wanting but I was happy to have some blonde back in after letting it grow out. I'm low maintenance so my thoughts were okay, I'll just come back in a few weeks and get it lifted further, this is good for now. Once I got home and took a closer look, I realized that there's still a very clear blunt line between my hair growth and the rest of my hair on the top, the top 2-3 inches are clear streaks of blond sitting in my natural darker color, and she did not touch the underneath of my hair at all. I texted the stylist to ask why the underneath wasn't done and she told me she only had time for a partial, if she scheduled me for a full I couldn't have gotten in as soon. This was extremely frustrating because if she had said that upfront, I would've gladly waited for when there was time to actually do what I came in for. I had also originally planned to add some pastel pink, when I expressed that I didn't feel my hair was light enough or the right tone to support that look, she argued with me about it. and sent me example pictures that were very far off from the original ones I had showed her. I opted to cancel my appointment for the color, and I also cancelled an appt I had scheduled for a facial to avoid coming back, the girl who took my call to cancel was rude and short with me as well once I explained I'm calling to cancel. I'm honestly extremely disappointed by my hair, the experience, and the treatment. I wasted my time, and money. I never write reviews, and try to give benefit of the doubt at all times but this was abhorrent enough that I'd like to spare anyone who takes the time to read reviews before booking. I was going to ask to speak with the manager, but it truly doesn't feel like the kind of space or culture where I would be heard, or there would be an effort to remedy the situation. I'm sure I would and probably will be another client being trash talked by the stylists while they work. read more
