Unfortunately I am giving one star due to what happened at my June 6 2025 appointment. I will say the shop is clean and staff appears knowledgeable. I have been going here for about 7 months booking my appointments with Sharon. I thought she did a good job with correcting my color with highlights. We had a original consult where as I told her I was trying not to break my base and color as I used to do. My original hairstylist retired and other salons had not been able to get the blonde highlight color I wanted, it was always brassy or not shade I asked for. During the consult I told Sharon they used Wella color products and Toner/glaze when doing my hair. Sharon wanted to use the pull through cap method to highlight the brassy color out. I was skeptical at first but she explained it would allow her to see the processing better, so I went with her suggestion as I am not a hair dresser and she seemed knowledgeable. For the past 6 appointments about every 6 weeks Sharon was high lighting my hair with a cap and dryer. I did not know what products she was using to achieve the color I told her from the beginning I never went under a dryer but she said would be ok. I had no issues the first 6 appointments. On June 6 2025 disaster struck. Sharon did the same she always does and when she brought me to the dryer all seemed like any other time she did my hair. She came back to check my hair and dryer as she always did before and would then set timer for a second round as she always did. However this time within about 1-3 minutes all of a sudden my face started sweating and intense heat feeling was happening under plastic cap she had on my hair. I tried to lift dryer top and was looking down hall to see if I could see her and she was already walking towards me. I heard a popping sound under the dryer and am not sure what that sound was. Sharon lifted lid and turned off dryer I told her the heat was really intense way more then any other time we had appointments. I could feel my scalp burning. It honestly was scary and awful. Sharon brought me to sink and I asked her is everything ok and she said " you would see me running if it wasn't" she then was trying to get the cap she pulled highlights through off my hair and was having issue doing so, I asked her again is all ok and she said yes. She started rinsing my hair with cold water only which normally the water is warm to hot and putting products that I could not see as I was at the sink on my hair, at this point I was believing all was ok. I was concerned about the intense heat but have never been in that type situation before. She brought me to her chair and proceeded to state I should get a trim and she blew dry my hair with cold air. All of this is not what she normally would do. When she was done my hair seemed ok and I guess the rescue products probably used at sink and at chair made it look that way, I told her my hair felt much dryer the usual and she handed me a used bottle of rapid rescue half empty and cbd conditioner and as I went to counter the staff was all saying how nice the color was I responded saying it feels very dry. (Lonni stated at that point we will never use bleach on you again, I had no idea Sharon was just bleaching my hair, honestly I did not smell bleach when she did my hair, she knew I was always having Wella color products and toner on my hair, I thought that is what she was using to be honest. ) I went home and as I live close by in town was home in less then 10 mins and really looked at my hair, I had to get home as I has a important zoom call I had to be on. My hair looked ok visually but it was so dry and brittle and all back pieces were shorter. I just started crying. I text Sharon and told her I was not happy with the service and she said come back and Lonni will give you credit. I asked her if I should put more conditioner on my hair that night when I shower and she said your hairs been through a lot and just leave it. I am not sure why she acted like there was no issue when at the sink or at her chair or why staff was acting like it was the best thing they ever saw. This deeply troubles me as it appears they were all not being honest to what happened. I went back next day and got credit for the service and Lonni gave me a small bottle of leave in conditioner mask and a bottle of oil for no cost. I thought that was nice and Sharon also stated she would work with me doing conditioning treatments until hair better. I still have the texts, Sharon actually stated in one text please don't hate me. Lonnie stated she called 5 other shops and a dryer could not do this in 1-3 mins. I am not sure if she called the other shops that are owned by them. I called a few shops one in NY and they stated it was over processed and should not have been under dryer at any time or at any of my appointments. See full review on their Facebook page. read more

Patty is so talented and takes pride in her job !! She is an excellent colorist and gives an amazing haircut !! I am a stylist so I love being able to relax and listen to all the stylists and get pampered I know when I go to Patty no matter what she does I leave happy . Love going shopping there on my way out too they have such adorable hats, clothes , so many products too . Love being able to buy supplies there also for my salon it's great last minute pinch I know exactly where to go !! Kudos to the salon owner for ordering all those products wow that must be fun . this is in another plaza now, but the same store. Anyway, went in the other day and was ignored by two employees who chatted among themselves at the desk. I was clearly in one specific section right by the desk, and it should've been pretty obvious I was looking for a specific item, (which was a very basic item this store didn't have but should have for being a beauty supply), and they likely knew that and didn't care, didn't offer help or to look in the back room or anything. I walked out, being ignored all the way out the door. I won't spend my money where I'm looked at as some sort of annoyance. read more

I have literally never been so disappointed in my entire life with a salon before. I came here to get my hair done and styled for a wedding. I came in with pictures and showed her exactly what I wanted done and I felt absolutely miserably. On top of it all I had to pay an extra $20 for my hairstyle because of the length of my hair. I will never come here again and I will also be telling my friends to stay far away from this place, I would've been better off letting my eight-year-old niece do my hair. I honestly regret even paying for it. Below I have posted the picture of what I came in and asked for and then a picture of what I received. All I got was a head full of bobby pins that were horribly placed and extremely uncomfortable. During the wedding my hair didn't stay in place at all, I avoided pictures at all costs to one of my best friends weddings. Take my advice and go somewhere else and don't bother stepping foot into this establishment. They are overpriced, unprofessional and lack experience. When I say unprofessional I mean unprofessional, the drama between the staff is absolutely disgusting and would make anyone uncomfortable. If you want to talk bad about your coworkers that's your business but don't do it in front of customers and don't send snarky comments back-and-forth between one another. If any of my staff ever did that they wouldn't be working anymore. read more

From the moment I walked in I was given a dirty look from who I suppose is their manager. Then as I was walking down the isle she proceeded to ask if I needed help. I said "no thank you I'm just looking for now" she rolled her eyes and walked away. I ignored it and proceeded to the eyeliners and picked 2 then went to check out. Clearly they were talking about me. And I was rude back. "Fight fire with fire" I always say. I paid and made the cashier work to give me my change. Sarcastically the three of them said "goodbye" I waved and walked out. Once I was out of that store I felt better. So much bad vibes in there it's horrible. I'm never going back. 0 stars. Overpriced, narrow selection of products. Cramped and badly arranged layout. Awful, rude staff who make you feel unwelcome as soon as you go in. I've been in there about three times asking the simplest of questions about hair products and been patronized every time - all of the women in there are aloof, treating you like a nuisance who they want to leave as soon as possible. You would expect they'd want to direct you to decent products so they could make profit? Apparently not - every time I have made the mistake of going in I have had to leave, empty-handed, within minutes. Today, I was forced to go elsewhere after a blonde lady (one of their stylists I believe) who had already been rude and mocking when I had asked her about hair lightener, then stopped ringing up her long line of customers to interrupt my conversation with the associate she had told me to speak to, to inform me angrily that they can't tell me which products I should use on my hair. A customer asking politely for advice on one product over another is a sales opportunity if anything - it should not be cause for irritation or used as an opportunity to humiliate them. Will drive as far as needed next time to get hair dye elsewhere. Avoiding this place at all costs and if you don't like being belittled by bitter and frustrated staff then I suggest you do the same. read more

This is not about the store itself or the staff. The reason for my review has to do with the antiquated return policies. When returning an item for which I paid cash for you can not get back your money. I received a store credit for something I purchased 24 hours ago all packaging in tact and a receipt. The signs around the store are so small it needed to be pointed out to me. No exception made and I was told had I paid with my credit card they then would have returned the money on my card.. I was then given a speech about how people return things not that I am being accused she says. I am in retail myself and never would have spoken to a customer in a "non accusing way" Do not shop here as the owner is small with only seven locations.. He can be put out of business very easily with all the other larger beauty supply stores. read more
