Please bring this burger back! It's honestly the best I've ever had in the PH nothing else comes close whenever I crave a burger.

Crispy juicy patty! But the buns were not that soft which I don't prefer. But over all the taste was good. Worth the money.

These 2 components alone make this possibly the best burger I've ever tried in Manila.

Plus, who doesn't love Bacon? Seriously. The place is small and cramped. There are a couple of high stools and three small tables under the "Long Live Bacon" sign. If you need to use the comfort room, you have to enter the secret room called ABV. It's a speakeasy and I will definitely talk about it more in another review. The food here is perfect for after a long night of drinking with friends. They offer a breakfast menu where you can customize your own plate. Want a bacon and egg sandwich made with 2 waffles? Go for it! But, in my opinion, the definite Must Try here are their Hotdogs! All their hotdogs are bacon-wrapped and deep fried! YUM! I recommend the Chili Dog (Php220) and the Kimchi Dog (Php190). Next time, I will have to try their Tater Bombs (bacon-wrapped potato tots)! But, it's always sold out when I arrive! Huhu! I can't wait to see what Lazy Bastard will "baconify" next! :D

I heard about hotdogs sold at Php 100 but never at these prices. My siblings and I decided to be adventurous and tried their hotdogs anyway. It was in Jupiter street and we found parking around the area. We saw their big sign that said "Bacon & Burgers this way". When I took a bite of their hotdog, I was enlightened. I tasted the hotdog sandwich's full potential. I experienced Lazy Bastard's BACON WRAPPED hotdog in a bun and topped with a load of toppings. I particularly found their Con carne and parmesan hotdog sandwich to be their bestest. On my next visit, I'm planning to try their AVOCADOG. On the other hand, I found their burger to be okay.

So that's when the burger frenzy started. I tried restaurant after restaurant, I think I was making up for lost time. Fast food burgers are okay and reliable for the most part, but sometimes we just want to eat something that's... I don't know, a little bit loved when it's cooked? I'm being funny here. I don't know. As for 8Cuts, well, for starters, the prices are a little higher than other budget burger houses. High price is pretty much a burger place understatement nowadays so nothing really surprising about that. At the very least 8Cuts doesn't charge too much on their burgers. The cheapest starters I could find was called The Dip of Warm, which is made of artichokes and spinach. So no I didn't get that. I got their mozzarella sticks Php 255 which was okay. They taste good and nothing out of place. For the burgers, they have Classic and Tributes. The classic ones are well, classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers while the tributes have some other knickknacks added to it. I got Hangover for around Php 295. That's a quarter pounder, by the way. I was satisfied with it although I didn't get to finish the whole thing. It was just too big for me. All in all, 8Cuts would be perfect if you're looking for a fries-and-burger-and-shakes fix.

They don't just offer your regular run-of-the-mill cheeseburger. They have different kinds of interesting specialty burgers. Their bestseller is Kailua Burger which is basically a cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms. Personally though, I like the Fire Burger. It had onion rings, bacon and the fire sauce which gave the burger a little spicy kick - just the way I like it. Also, the bun was super awesome and the new shoestring fries are addictive. Highly recommended. Go give it a try. And don't be afraid to go for the 9 oz. burger. It's not as big as the sample says it is. They have the pre-shrunk raw patty size on display. The patties aren't that thick.

It meant only one thing: Hawaiian food. In the Philippines. Oh my god. I must have it! Teddy's Kailua Burger is good if you like burgers with some awesome sauce beef, and I definitely recommend it. But to all my fellow non-burger-loving people out there, I ask that you try the Loco Moco or Western Loco Moco at Teddy's. Now you might be thinking, 'Loco Moco? What the heck is that? Will it turn me crazy?' Yes! Sort of. The Loco Moco is a modern Hawaiian dish with a sunny side up egg resting on top of a hamburger patty, which happens to lie over a bed of hot white rice, all slathered with their special gravy, and yes, it's amazingly simple. Slice through that egg and tender beef, mix the yolk with the sauce and the rice for a taste of paradise! And to take it up a notch, add bacon and onion rings with the Western Loco Moco. Either way, the Loco Moco is a mountain of awesome, like a burger without a bun and those pesky vegetables. Sorry, vegetables. Whether you're hankering for local Hawaiian food or simply curious about what something called a Loco Moco would taste like, Teddy's Bigger Burgers is the place to try it. Mahalo, Teddy's! (Four stars because their salmon poke isn't that good, though.)

Honestly, I had no idea this place existed, but luckily was paying attention when our driver drove past and I saw a massive line out the door at 1am. Luck would have it our hotel was just around the corner. We walked by one evening and decided it was way to crowded. With over an hour wait and every table filled we also knew pictures inside would be nearly impossible. With a couple hours to spare the morning we were leaving, we walked over after breakfast to check it out and maybe order something small to share. Of course, the desserts caught our eye and the rest was history. 1 massive dessert later, 2 of us could not finish, but throughly enjoyed every bite we ate. A daytime visit was the best choice. We pretty much had the downstairs to ourselves for pictures and several 2nd floor areas were purposely non-seating areas so patrons could take pictures. I could have spent hours here and would definitely return. The collection is unreal. The 50's vibe/atmosphere was on point, and the dessert (the only food I can judge) was delicious. If we had a place like this in Los Angeles, it would be a total hit.

If you're looking for a cool casual fun place to eat/drink or hang out with a retro theme, you have to check this place out. It's open 24/7. This is an American diner-style restaurant. It has a unique gas station theme, with classic cars, memorabilia, and a vintage vibe. They offer American comfort food like burgers, pizza, pasta, and hearty breakfast plates but surprisingly their Filipino favorite dishes are so good. Ordered the hipon (shrimp) sinigang & the sizzling squid. Both were so good. Loved the sauce on the squid. Loved all the veggies in the sinigang especially the okra & kangkong (watercress/morning glory). This place is great for casual dining and late-night cravings. They have a bar for those who want to enjoy a drink while soaking in the retro aesthetic. I stopped in here twice during my stay in the area. I also tried their chicken & waffle. It was really good too. I wish I tried their desserts but I was too full both times. They have merchandise to purchase as well if you need souvenirs. Staff were friendly.
