Been here 5 or 6 times with my family. Food is great, good for pictures with interesting ambiance. Last the waitress are always super sweet and beautiful. Definitely give it a shot

The ambiance is straight out of 50s ~ neon lights, memorabilia, and great vibes. Big servings! Perfect for those who want a hearty meal in a fun retro setting.

Decent place that is open 24hrs, good for those working the night shift. Interior is bright and BUSY. Drinks were good overall. We only had chicken tenders and fries and both were underwhelming as cold and didn't taste fresh. Also had to hunt down our server to get refills and the tab. Seedy neighborhood so be aware of your surroundings. Might go back, but not if I can find somewhere better.

This place brings back memories for me as in Hawaii we use to have a place called Ronnie's. A 50/60s diner before they shut down. The food is pretty amazing here I got the DiMaggio hotdog and that hit the spot. The service was definitely quick and efficient being that it was around 8:30 pm and staff were pretty accommodating. The ambience it's a 50s/60s diner the music the posters everything was perfect and the childhood memories of the restaurant Ronnie's in Hawaii had come back. Recommend for anyone living or visiting the Philippines

This restaurant is made to look like all-American diner, only they included hundreds if not thousands of dinner and Hollywood memorabilia on every inch of wall, floor and ceiling space. It's an Instagram spot and a must go to place for anyone visiting Manila and want to do something different. The waitresses and waiters dress like 1950 dinner style , some with roller skates, and on weekends you will find a Marilyn Monroe look alike serving tables too when they are not having there photo taken. We ate on the second floor out of three floors next to a vintage blue Cadillac mustang, apparently a real one, body only. And you you can have your meal in it to if you plan to spend the minimum on food, $50 ? The food dishes are all huge and taste like real good dinner food, at dinner prices. I also order one of the ice cream big cup desserts and it must have been made with 3 gallons of ice cream. the three of us could not finished it. While we were eating dinner the waitresses did a little dance routine that was entertaining. The only hiccup was the dessert, we waited a long time for it, they should have told us they are freshly made and need to stay in a blast freezer for 20 minutes so they don't fall apart. I recommend making a reservation if you going between 4 and 8 PM for diner time.and also bring proof of vaccination.

Family friendly. Quick service when coming in. Took us 4 times to get our bills though. Portion is large. Atmosphere is fun. Foods was good! Try the Ube shake! It's so good!

Loved the vibe and atmosphere in this place. The burger was good and can't go wrong with ice cold San Mig! Sit by the window so you can street people watch.

Flew into Manila on a late Thursday night and told my cousin I was craving American comfort foods. He took me to this spot! The restaurant reminds me of an all-American diner. We ate on the second floor next to a vintage blue Cadillac mustang (apparently a real one). And if you spend a certain amount, you can have your meal in it. No thanks, I'll just admire it from afar! We ordered 2 coke floats, midget burgers and Presley's pasta. Do not expect your order to come out looking like the pictures on the menu. Coke floats satisfied my sweet tooth and our food orders fulfilled the comfort food craving I had after spending 20+ hours traveling and eating just airplane food... but I just couldn't finish what I ordered. While we were eating dinner the waitresses did a little dance routine that was entertaining. Some were smiling while some didn't look very happy. Had to flag down servers but they were attentive once we got their attention. I would not come back for the food but if I had a craving for a coke float or wanted to hang out somewhere cool

My first burrito did have 99% rice so this one had a little less than 99% so I'd say it's better than that. The chicken was good. The veggies were just like some lettuce and beans. Dips were perfect. I'm not sure if this is authentic burrito, but I'm pretty sure it's not more of rice and not so bland. I can't say I've experienced better, but I guess they can do better. I think they're a bit pricey for most people. For me, it's just right considering how I was filled with just half the burrito (or I probably just have a tiny stomach to fill). Might try other stuff from here when I'm in the area. But I hope they do something with the dryness and bland taste of the food.

That would've been okay had the rice been flavorful, but it was bland. The chicken in it was pretty good, but I wish there was just more. And where are my veggies and black beans? What burrito is this? I thought the garlic sauce would be the saving grace, but it tasted weird. Sana nag-Army Navy nalang ako. The nacho platter in terms of appearance was pretty exciting--colorful, lots of toppings, etc. But it also fell short. There was a lot of ingredients, but they tasted store-bought and pretty cheap. Again, I was looking for more black beans, jalapeno and a bit more spice. Contrary to its plating, the flavors I'm looking for in a good nacho platter was just not there. My friend ordered the Pollo meal and was also disappointed. If you're in Mega Food Hall, I suggest you skip them and jump right to the long queue at Frankie's where what you'll be paying for will be worth it.

Their Lucha Tacos is one of their best-sellers. We had the Medio which offers double choice of meat in 2 taco shells (option for soft or hard shell, we went for the the soft shell) for only Php95 (2USD)! We ordered the lengua and lamb. For the adventurous, there is ox stripe. But, they also have chicken and beef for those who want to play it safe. Go for the lengua, really good! I also had a Mojito (Php90, 1.9USD), one glass was definitely not enough. The only thing we didn't like about Silantro was their service. It took them quite a long time to serve our food. But, even with the waiting time, the food is worth it. I'm going back to this place with my friends. Next time, I'll be ordering their Unli Mojito! :)

I availed of combo 4 - a burrito and a taco - whereas my brothers got a combo 5 (burrito and a quesadilla) and regular San Francisco Style burrito (double the meat). We all at least got to try out each other's dishes. I enjoyed my grilled chicken burrito, and my beef taco was crisp and didn't fall apart like cheaper end tacos. My brother's quesadillas weren't anything to fawn over about. The San Francisco Style ground beef burrito was definitely meatier, but I don't think it really needed to be to make you full. More accurately, you get a puffy taco shell, made by deep frying a freshly rolled out piece of dough, filled with your choice of meat, vegetables, and sauce. The chalupa shell is the star of the show here. Its crisp golden crunch yields to a soft, chewy inside. I'd eat it with just sauce. Chipotle sauce, to be exact. Julio's gives a choice of regular crema sauce and spicy chipotle sauce. Crema finds itself somewhere between sour cream and mayonnaise both in flavor and viscosity. The regular version here reminds me of a runnier and tangier shawarma sauce, and is good in its own right. However, I'm a chilihead and the Chipotle adds a nice smoky kick to the crema. Highly recommended. As for proteins, to be honest they take a backseat here. The ground beef is alright, and there's not too much gristle, but I far prefer the grilled chicken for the texture. It's firm and meaty and provides a contrast to the shell. All in all, I highly recommend Julio's' chalupas. It's a cut above a normal taco.
