The whole establishment has somewhat of a 1960's Hippie vibe. The proprietress was friendly, helpful and full of information about the attractions in and around Floyd. It was a Saturday when I swung through, so all of the tourists from the Blue Ridge Parkway were stopping by for their tourist shopping fix. I also had a homemade brownie which had the perfect amount of sweetness and walnut ratio to it. I wanted to try the Possum Pie but just get the nerve up to ask what was in it. They are located in the strip mall on Lawndale amongst other assorted businesses . The freezers house a wide selection of regional items from appetizers of dip, delectable country ham rolls, wide range of entrees such as quiche, pot pies, casseroles and yummy desserts of pies and cakes.
