We both ordered the eggnog mudslide, a holiday special, which were served quickly and were very delicious. The night we went was their weekly karaoke night which we didn't know ahead of time, but it was fun! It seems to be a group of regulars who like to sing and the vibe was fun and laid back. The employee running karaoke was super nice and friendly and overall the whole place had really good vibes. I think we'll definitely be back next time we visit Burlington!

We visited last night and it happened to be during Karaoke time. The crowd was super chill, friendly, and very supportive of the singers. Everyone was having a great time and the vibe was pretty amazing, kind of felt like a speakeasy. There were people sitting at the bar, people clapping in the seats in front of the stage, and people knitting in the back. There were empty tables last night, but from what I read, it can get pretty crowded here. We ordered the Mudslides and they were really good, but a little too icy. Service was friendly and we felt very comfortable here. Loved the decor with the historic photos, the colored lights and the comfortable old style chairs. We'll be back on our next visit to Burlington!

The drink menu has a ton of options and you could tell the bartenders really poured there heart into the drinks. It was a gorgeous day and we were able to sit outside, which I really enjoyed. They were umbrellas above us, which were much needed when it started to drizzle! I enjoyed the waiter, although my wife did not. He talked a lot and everything I asked him was his favorite. It didn't seem genuine. Especially when the table sat down next to us and everything they wanted or was his favorite too. We were disappointed that the one thing we wanted on the menu was not available for food. They're mocktails were a normal price and their cocktails were a little pricey, but well worth it for the craft that they were doing. I enjoyed both of the cocktails that I had, although was disappointed that they didn't have the monkey brains cocktail that I wanted anymore. Overall, it was a cute place and I'd probably go back to have a cocktail.

An Exquisite Culinary Experience…read more Rogue Rabbit in Burlington is nothing short of exquisite. I rate places by their category, and this one earns my highest marks in the three most important categories: food, drinks, and overall experience very fun casual atmosphere. The pizza was a masterpiece. Thick, insanely fresh dough was complemented by a decadently sweet-savory tomato sauce and topped with a perfect combination of savory sausage, sweet onion, and ricotta. Simply scrumptious. The drink menu is tight but brilliantly creative. I started with the Good Catastrophe (Brandy, Italicus, Lemon, Turbines, Orange Bitters)--exquisite. I followed it with the mind-blowing Via Con Dio (Rye, Ramazotti, Honey, Strawberry and espresso). Topping all this off was the wait staff and Mary, a wizard/artist at drink mixing. The staff and the patrons made this, along with the food and drink, one of the best holistic dining experiences I've had in years. Astounding and exquisite.

Also loved the zucchini caprese salad. The schiacciata bread on our sandwich was so fresh and light and the Negroni was just as good as in Italy--kept stealing sips of my husband's drink! Also had the special coconut/mint lemonade--also great! Lovely staff and comfy vibe too. Well worth the price for an amazing lunch. Who needs another crappy brewpub or yet another blah farm to table place? Not us! Go here! You will not be disappointed.

I ordered the Something Fun cocktail, which was fruity, refreshing, and beautifully presented with blue salt speckled around the rim of the glass. For dinner, I had the whole trout in a dill sauce with a side of purple cauliflower. Everything is locally sourced, and while the menu features a few staples, it changes daily. Each menu is date-stamped, which I'm obsessed with--it's a great reminder of how fresh everything is. Vermont generally has a great local food scene, and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the ingredients, presentation, and overall quality. Frankie's is a restaurant I'd highly recommend for groups, family dinners, date nights, or even corporate dinners. I'd love to come back and explore more of their wine selection. The staff is incredibly welcoming, happy to chat, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Expect to spend around $75 per person for a meal, a side or appetizer, and one drink.

Burlington local, first time going to Frankie's. Only hear good things about it…read more Pros: service, quality/freshness of food The service was top notch from when we first entered until we left. We were immediately greeted and seated. They helped take our coats/hang them for us. We were always closely attended to and given time if more was needed. The homemade pasta dish we got with greens and mushrooms was fantastic! My bf liked the shrimp appetizer/smaller dish and we all liked the trout, but it seemed a little mushy/overcooked. Cons: loud/bad acoustics, dim, portion size(only for one specific dish) A little hard to hear inside when it's at peak capacity. Was at dinner with a group of four and it was quite hard to hear the person diagonally across from me the entire night. Lighting was a little too dim for my personal liking but others may not mind(for example, it was darker inside than it was outside at 6pm). Food was overall very good. The disappointments were a clam dish we couldn't even first find any clams in and then the two people who got them when we divided up the dish only got two each! And the side greens, seemed overcooked and were over-salted. Would definitely try it again would recommend to others.
