Our group of 6 was met by spunky Paulette who gave us a complete and thorough explanation on how The Bent Brush operates. After washing our hands FIRST (don't want to smudge the ceramics ) we spent time looking at all the fun ceramics to choose for painting. There are various sizes, shapes and specimens to choose from with a variety of paints, brushes and tools to use as your creative mind chooses. I will be specific and say, take your time! There is no rushing here and you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. The staff is so friendly and helpful; so don't be afraid to ask for assistance! Such a cool place. I have been a few times with my humans. Found this a very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. So much fun that the time gets away from you. This last time my humans made a spider, an alien and a narwal, and a dog treat jar!! I helped with that one!!! The staff is very helpful and even gave some tips on how to write my name on the jar. They checked on us often and got us everything we needed. One of my humans is not good in art but loves this experience and actually has made some cool things. There was also some kind of event there and everyone in the birthday party had so much fun. A great way to spend a few to several hours making cool things and gifts!! I walked in not knowing what to expect but the amazing and friendly staff made me feel good and confident going into it, not only that but the facility was amazing very clean very organized and cute! Such a good place to throw a kids birthday party or even a get together for ad UPDATE! As I went recently excited to paint and relax again, I picked my piece that was labeled 10$ clearly labeled as 10! Upon checkout the male worker told me it was 24 dollars instead! So he went to have a look at the setup once I asked him and he told me "yes I certainly can see how you would have thought that was the price" and "yea it looks 10$" and refused to discount the item FALSELY ADVERTISED! So much fun! Family did the mosaics and took about 1.5 hours. Easy for kids to do as well.

Such a fun activity! Kid friendly. Best variety of pottery for painting I've seen. There are plenty of kid friendly figurines and piggy banks but also very nice adult dishes and decorative items. They have a great variety of paints and tools too! It's a large space with plenty or room to spread out. The atmosphere is bright and airy and the staff is helpful and friendly. The prices aren't too high but not cheap either. I took my daughter and she painted a miniature tea set and i painted two cereal bowls and we paid $76. We really enjoyed it. I recommend bringing something to drink as they don't have anything available. read more

They are so patient and show you all the different techniques so you end up with a real neat looking cup or plate, etc. There are SO many options of things to paint.
