My first time visiting a pottery place in general and it was the best experience and I can't wait to go back. So many choices for kiddos and adults, small to medium to large to ginormous pieces to paint. They are so welcoming to newcomers like me and explain very well how the process goes. Need ideas or help, just ask, it never felt like a bother because they come around and ask you if everything is going well. They have good music and allow you to bring your drinks and some snacks. I cannot say enough good things about Cone 06 Pottery! We are fortunate enough to know the owner, Tia, as she was the owner of my son's Daycare! Tia and her staff go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. If you are new, they will walk you through the process of picking a pottery piece, the paints and how many coats to put on to get a bold color. They have plenty of stencils and if you mess up, they are there to help you out! I love bringing my son here and spending quality time painting. There is no rush to get it completed that day, you can stop, come back and pick right back up where you started. Another great thing is you only pay for the pottery. OMG I recently planned a night our with the Gals to celebrate my sister's birthday . The entire experience was wonderful and the staff was so helpful and friendly - especially the owner :) . We were able to bring in our own appetizers and wine and they provided us with a table with a Happy Birthday tablecloth. Cone 06 is a pottery place where you come in and select a piece and paint it to your hearts delight. The best part is that it is just one charge. No matter how long it takes you to paint, many times I have to return again to finish my masterpiece. It is great for kids and small gatherings. The pieces range from simple cute things to incredibly detailed works. The staff is very helpful with selecting color, painting techniques and everything else you might need. I've dropped my daughter off here a couple times so she can make gifts for family. The last time, she asked me to come along, so I did. This is a very clean and cute little business with friendly staff. There are a lot of fired ceramic pieces for you to choose from- very large pieces to very small. The price on them includes all your paints and firing, so if it says $15, it costs $15 to paint and fire the piece, and you can pick it up in a few days! I think that is very convenient and fun. We had a fun time- we were probably there for 1 1/2 hours. I painted an elephant earring box for her and she painted a tea bag tray for me- very cool. :) They both turned out very nice. This would be a great place to bring some girlfriends, or your kids on a weekend or even week night. We will be back, as we plan on painting up some goodies for Christmas gifts :) read more

We had a wonderful girls night here painting some pottery! It works like this: Pick out your piece of pottery from the wall, pick out your paints, grab some brushes, and go! Since we called ahead, our table was set up and ready to go for us. I do wish someone had been able to better walk us through the process (nobody really greeted us or discussed what to do), so I didn't realize the 1/2/3 coats rule, or realize there were tools other than brushes to perfect your design! So yes, pro tip, there are sponges and thin paint bottles (think puffy paint style) and other options to potentially make your design a bit easier. Of course I realized this after I had worked for at least half an hour with a cramping hand and a tiny brush to get some details done. Ah well! Had someone taken the initiative to welcome us and walk us through what to do, this would have been a 5-star experience. The staff was beyond courteous by the end of our time at the shop and had our pieces ready to be picked up SUPER fast. We're going to make this an annual event! read more

I'm so glad we have this in naples! You select a unpainted figurine within a $$ budget. Paint it, and they process it within a couple days and then you can pick it up. It was about $70 for 2 clay painting objects. I saw all ages of people there but it was mostly a family activity. It's like being in your highschool art room but with more zen. They really leave you alone and let you paint. Chairs are not comfortable, 1 bathroom, brushes are very used and cheap but you don't really need a sable brush to paint something decent on the figurines. I wish they had more paints such as metallics, sparkling and neon paints. It is not a forgiving art medium, meaning mistakes are very visible and get amplified after they're glossed. The people running this are great communicators, attentive and pleasant. But no one was passionate about the art at hand. The overall experience was moderately fun and very relaxing. read more

My boyfriend and I visited here and made mugs for one another. It was an amazing experience. A very clean place with the workspaces already set up when you come. It was around $20 for each much which included the mug itself, the painting experience, and firing in the kiln. We both had a great time. It was less busy when we went, but when I picked the mugs up I will say that there was a children's birthday party happening and it was pretty loud/busy. If you're looking to go when it's quieter I would call and ask if it's busy before going in. All around though it was a 10/10 experience! read more

Great place to take your kids on a cold Florida day (yes Florida has them too) the host was very patient and kind to the kids. Very relaxing even to do without the little ones. You pick out your pottery piece and pick the paints you plan to work on. The place provides a pallet to mix and match your paints. You sit down and go to work. I love to come to this place when I need something relaxing to do. It is a great calming hobby and it is nice because it's some thing you can do by yourself or with a group. I have only ever done the pottery there but I would imagine that the glass making stuff they have there is just as fun. Unfortunately the piece that was painted broke in the kiln.This happens sometimes (not often) And I assure you that the owner was just as upset. Simply relaxing and fun and worth every penny. You simply pay for whatever you choose to paint and they supply everything you need. The employees are beyond courteous, they helped me with a design I wanted but my inner artist wasn't surfacing. The shop is clean full of everything beautiful and creative. If I could do zero stars, I would. This place was fun to go to, however, once my piece went into the kiln, it got "ruined". I worked very hard on this piece and was very excited to pick it up. They did not take the time to even call BEFORE I went to pick it up saying that it was ruined. I am furious and so upset with this place. I get that mistakes happen but this is unacceptable in my opinion. read more
