I had previously used there services and was happy with their work so emailed Eduardo pictures of the project I needed to get fixed. It was a 'drywall bubble' from a water leakage from the roof and a crack both in the kitchen ceiling. He was very prompt in a replying and his bid was considerably the work and lower than the other contractor. This is the 2nd time he came in with quite a lower bid. He was very quick in scheduling the job and had it scheduled to start in 3 days. Saul came out on time and he was the same person that did the great job on my downstairs bedroom. Saul promptly got to work masking and putting up plastic to section off his work area. It took him about 2 hours to complete the job. It would have taken me all day and then some! My first quote from a different company was $1,000, which I found quite high for the scope of work. The crew fixed a lot of holes in our house after some electrical work. But we didn't realize until later when the painters came in that the drywall repairs and texturing were very inconsistent. In several areas the new texturing didn't match the original orange peel. When I told Eduardo, he agreed to fix it. But they missed the first agreed upon time and when they finally showed up, they didn't end up fixing anything, and left without communicating with us. He agreed to come back again but then didn't show up and is now non-responsive to our calls. We are working against a timeline to get this fixed before painting and it's been very frustrating with both the quality of the original work and communication. Update: Saul eventually came and retextured the whole ceiling, while my painter fixed the smaller areas of inconsistencies. I will leave a four star as there is room for better communication during the project and customer service and showing up at agreed times. read more
