It's been awhile since I'd had breakfast here, so I stopped by this morning to give it a shot. What an unpleasant surprise! The hotel public areas are clean and comfortable as you would expect from an upscale hotel but the restaurant leaves much to be desired. Right off, the coffee was old and room temperature. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns. Only one biscuit arrived, the other had to be requested. The hash browns were extremely salty. The waiter, who looked like he slept under a nearby bridge, did bring hot coffee and the other biscuit. But this is just something you would expect done right the first time! And to top it off, the cash register was out of order so I had to use a card. Breakfast options in Boerne are few. As much as I like tacos, I can't eat them every day as they pack on the pounds. Sadly, this is another poorly run kitchen that just narrowed my morning restaurant list. read more

Check in was easy, around 3pm. Make sure to ask for your cookie. They gave me one with chocolate chips and oatmeal, they asked if I had allergies. I had a room on the 3rd floor. The room was nice and spacious. Room 315. The shower was hot, room got warm overnight but I had a fan. They had a nice sized mini refrigerator, full closet with iron and ironing board and coffee machine with all the things you need to make coffee. I booked a block of rooms back in June for our group. The sales team ladies were responsive, accomodated a couple of changes to the booking and add ons. The hotel lobby was decorated nicely in a western theme. They had a retail shop, full bar and restaurant on site. The pool area was really nice too. Lots of comfortable seating throughout. The conference space was nice, AV was modern and banquet services very professional. The wifi worked well and for a small hotel, they had about 3 large conference rooms and a huge ballroom. The conference room had tables with built in usb plugs and power strips. I was able to order coffee setup after the fact. They brought a variety of syrups and also had almond milk available. The banquet staff did a good job. The operations manager helped us get set up with the WiFi and the projector. The hotel was beautiful and while close to the freeway, it was one street over which was nice. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. A quick 10 mins up the freeway to San Antonio. The breweries and restaurants are walking distance, especially if it's nice outside. It felt like a small town but close to everything. Nice place for a weekend staycation. read more

This hotel went above and beyond to insure our stay was comfortable, clean and overall just an amazing experience.

Stayed and attended a conference here for 3 days. Rooms were comfortable; I stayed in a king which had a small, comfy pull-out couch and plenty of room to walk around. The only thing I would have liked more was having a microwave in the room to heat up leftovers from meals, but that was really the only thing missing. Service was good. I did have a little issue with my reservation, but it was taken care of quickly and easily. On the conference room side, the space was adequate for our needs. Only thing that would have been nice would have been more separate seating for meals. Overall, a very good location for meetings and stays. read more

With no plans on making any more, waffles and omelets only They did have a few scraps of meat left but it was dried out and gross , zero waiters so we had empty glasses of tea , and diet soda I have never stayed in the hotel part , but the buffet was a disaster and very expensive and embarrassing for the family,probably wouldn't recommend having a family celebration there read more

The hotel is pretty good. It is however the only hotel in America that doesn't provide free coffee in the morning and the only hilton property I've stayed at that doesnt provide bottled water for silver and above tiers. They have....get this.....ten dollar bottles of water. I'm not a fan of being nickel and dimed. read more

This was such a nice family & dog friendly place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The warm cookies were a bonus! The food was pretty fresh and tasty. The coffee shop downstairs was very convenient. The barista was a nice &friendly gal who made me a very good and not too sweet but strong ice coffee. The location of the hotel is awesome. My kids love Canes fast food and it is right behind The Bevy. A Walmart is like 2 mins away. There is Pizza Hut across the street as well. My family and I went to Six Flags and the drive is only 15 mins away. The beds and pillows were comfortable at The Bevy. read more

The absolutely most comfortable mattress I have ever been on, and we are Titanium travelers with another Major chain. I don't know if my back hurt from the drive from Dallas, or if it was solely the mattress... but the second I sank my back down into it, I "moaned"... in a extremely relaxed release of the pain I was carrying from the long drive. Anyone who had done extended airport and other travel knows what I mean. Honestly, with this one experience I'm ready to shift MY travel to this Brand... though my husband won't give up his AA perks through the other chain! Lol read more

We went for drinks and appetizers in the Bevy bar/lounge tonight and it was wonderful. It was so comfortable and our server Chelsea was awesome. We waited less than a minute to be greeted and offered drinks. She made one of the best Old Fashioned I have had in a long time. It was truly an enjoyable afternoon and much of it was due to the service provided by Chelsea. We will definitely spread the word and be back. read more

06/01/2022 Management hosted a farewell dinner for me here. My folks, the President, CEO and my boss attended. The Bevy set is up in the small room off of the restaurant area. This was a perfect place for us. We were served by one server. All went well. We started with chips and dip and a sausage, cheese, etc. plate. Very tasty. Of course, beer, wine and liquor flowed. For dinner, we ordered salmon, ribeye, burgers, shrimp and grits, fried oysters. I think one person ordered a salad. Hell, I'm leaving - eat hearty! I had the shrimp and grits. My first ever. So, I don't have a reference to know if they are really good or just meh. I think they were good. The grits were a little spicy with cheese and jalapeños. Tasty. The menu is not overwhelming which I like. Go there when in the area. read more

We stayed here when my husband was invited to speak (so we did not pick this location, although we could have - just FYI). Located not far from the main (cute) strip of downtown Boerne. It is walkable but would be a far walk to map that before you take off. None the less, the main entrance area is great and would be a good location for a high school reunion or a large family reunion. The bar is open and relaxed with some separate nice seating areas to chat. The pool area is "connected" so you could potentially have both areas for a gathering. There is also a restaurant and coffee shop (7-11a) with great drink options and pastries (we had a ham and Swiss croissant/kolache). The bar make special drinks for summer such as (this season) Miami Vice which is a frozen fruity and pina colada swirl type thingie. The pool area has a bar (when nice, can open windows to inside), tables, Loungers and so on-- really nice and relaxing. The rooms are your typical nice hotel room where you get the nice view of the roof ‍. The bed and pillow were comfy with coffee maker, blow dryer and hangers in the closet. They did offer a 10x lighted mirror, which was a nice extra. They have amble space to hang items. The shower is XL with grab bar, Crabtree & Evelyn wash/hair/lotion available. I think the only thing I would "ding" is offering a continental breakfast-- maybe that's old school but we still appreciate this touch for moderately priced hotels. We plan to stay here again and better see the cute town of Bourne Texas. read more

It's like an art museum you sleep at. We stayed here for our 16th anniversary and this was our home base for exploring downtown Boerne, It's a mile away. Good location! Staff is great and gave us a complimentary breakfast when I told them it was our anniversary. She also looked for a good room with privacy on the 5th floor with a view. Check in was quick. I learned they were full with 2 weddings happening. It was chilly so we didn't go in the pool but wanted to. Saw a fire pit too next to it. Our room had modern conveniences. What stood out was the quality of the bathroom; stone, rolling barn door, mini frig hidden in the cabinet. Large mirror in a standing cabinet. And it was quiet despite others nearby on both Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast was nice and so was the bilingual attendant who made sure our glasses were full. Las Palapas Mexican restaurant is directly across in case you get hungry. Walmart is less than 1/2 mile away. Overall a nice stay but you may consider other options if you're on a budget or not staying as long. Be aware There is a temporary $50 deposit charged to your credit card in case anything is broken or missing that will be refunded if everything is in good order. Tip: it's worth taking 5 minutes to walk the first floor to see the artwork. I HIGHLY recommend the Richter tavern or Bakhaus and the restaurant above these a mile away. Runner up is the Dodging Duck Brewhaus if you just want comfort food or want to be outside. read more

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night mid-January 2021 for a birthday staycation. The hotel is located right off I-10, but you have to cut across the frontage road pretty quick if you coming from San Antonio. Parking was pretty open and they had a few electric car charging stations. There was an overhang in front of the main door that could probably fit two vehicles, but turning out might be a little tight. The sundry was small, but had an ok selection of snacks and drinks. We booked through the Hilton app and it was about $175 a night for a two queen room with taxes. The room was a good size, had a large tv, a desk, and a couch. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. There was a closet area with a coffee bar and a mini fridge. Our view was mainly of a medical building, but there was a small wooded area behind that. We saw about ten deer coming from that area when we were leaving for dinner one night. It was cold when we visited, so we didn't get in the pool, but the pool area was very nice. They had a fire going every night outside and their was outdoor seating for the bar/restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant that is right inside the entrance and goes out into the lobby. The food was good and well priced for a hotel. The servers seemed stretched thin, but the manager Jorge was out helping and talking to all of the tables. The area has a rustic feel to it and there was live music each night. There are a few restaurants within walking distance (go to Nico's Gourmet Burgers). The hotel is right off Main Street and is very close to downtown. There is a Walmart, Walgreens, and H.E.B. that are all quick drives. This hotel is only about twenty minutes away from where we live, so we probably won't stay here a lot. We will probably stay any time we want to get away to Boerne and we would come back just for dinner and music on the weekend. read more

The restaurant at the Bevy is full service with an amiable and charming waitress Marjorie who made our visit almost nearly perfect-she was perfect! Our food was very good! The oysters were a bit salty! The Brussels were incredible. The shrimp and grits were delicious! The fish and chips were great-the chips were not really skinny even though they say skinny fries. The wine was delicious-our favs were Alexander Brown blend and Silverado Stags Leap CabSav-both deep and rich! We will be back! read more

How many stars for a hotel, that notifies you upon arrival, that they did not have the staff to clean the rooms you booked? We were two families, traveling through Texas and stopping in San Antonio, booked two rooms- each with two queen beds as we were traveling with children. Rather then call us ahead of arrival- we arrived at the hotel just before midnight, to be told they didn't have rooms for us and the only option was to stay in a room with one king bed. It is beyond frustrating to arrive at your destination, just to have to find a new destination. A lot of grief and a negative review could have been spared with a simple phone call ahead of arrival informing us of the situation and allowing us to have ample time and opportunity to find accommodations. Instead, we left disappointed and knowing we can't trust a booking at this place. read more

I almost don't even know where to start. This place is a outrageous mess!! Made reservations for 4 groups, some how this hotel managed to completely jumble all 4 rooms. They gave keys to all the wrong people and 1 group didn't have a room. After our wedding we came back to the hotel for no room, and had to argue with front desk about their mess up. They gave us keys to a room that was already being used. Openly admitted that they knew they mixed the keys on the first two groups. Then said the credit card declined until I pulled up my bank statement to show them I was already charged for the room. After finally getting a room, front desk called at 2am!!! just to verify how much the my card was charged. Something that 100% could have waited until the morning. To add to the absolute madness of The Bevy, upon check out they tell me that one room wasn't paid for which wasn't true at all, they literally followed that comment up with how a credit card was on file. Then front desk said that for some reason booking online didn't charge us taxes for the room, which once again is not true!!! The website clearly states that the price includes all taxes and fees. Yet The Bevy still charged another $21 to my card to cover taxes that I already paid!!! This place is crooked as hell and banks that the chaos and confusion people will just pay and walk away to just be finished with it. Visiting from California and thought the hotels was very good. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Rooms were good. Had zero issues. The food at the restaurant/bar down stairs was amazing too. HUGE shout out to Luis at the bar. Very friendly and attentive. I was there with my wife and three boys. My wife and I had a handful of beverages and we all give ate quite a lot of food. Luis was crushing it taking care of the full bar of customers, while also tending to the customers (like my family and I) at the tables and couches, he was bringing food out and bussing the tables, all by himself without missing a beat. Give that guy a raise. Again, had no issues with the hotel, the room, the staff, the restaurant, the location, the parking....no problems with anything. If/when we visit the area again, I'm totally good with staying here again. read more

We had dinner and a drink there the other evening. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was very good. But what impressed me most was the chef came out to personally check on each guest to be certain they enjoyed their meal. I love someone who takes pride in their work and cares about the customer. I must also commend the bartender. He made exactly what I wanted and brought it to the table personally. Because of such above and beyond effort I would certainly return. The hotel is situated within easy driving distance of i10, Hwy 46 and close to a ton of shopping and dining in downtown Boerne. It is a beautifully designed, hill country lodge vibe place to rest and relax. The lobby is a great first impression, with the check in desk tucked away discreetly to side and the bar/pool view dominates your entry. Check in staff were friendly and efficient. Prepaying for your entire stay plus incidentals vs. putting a pre-auth on your card is quite odd, but not a big deal. The hotel was only a month old when we checked in, and the rooms are still being 'punch listed' so there was some noise and activity in our hallway, as well as strong odors of fresh paint. Surely that will be over very soon. The room itself is large and beautifully appointed. Modern, useful furniture, tons of drawers, shelf's, mirrors and places to hang your clothes and drop your roll on luggage. A comfy large chaise lounge couch with end table and reading lamp. The bathroom is fresh, clean and the shower is very large with tons of water pressure and hot water. Towels are luxurious; soft and thick like this traveler. The bed is not as comfy as I would have hoped, but certainly new and adequate. Would appreciate a pillow top or adjustable firmness at this price level. The elevators are fast and quiet, the fitness center is spacious and there are several machines to workout, towels, water and a bathroom inside. Plenty of parking however hopefully they will add some shade trees as the parking lot is insanely hot in August. We live here in Boerne and have tried The Bevy several times for food and always felt it was subpar for food but excellent for drinks. They brought in a new chef and the food is equally delicious now. The new chef is killing it with improved service as well. read more

Great hotel so far. The front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. They even gave me a warm gooey chocolate chip cookie which was delicious. The room was impeccably clean and the shower head sprayed the water like a jet. I ate dinner at their downstairs restaurant and ordered the gourmet burger; it was too big & I couldn't finish it. The room was very clean, comfy and I especially loved the thick and luxury towels. All in all, a very good hotel to stay at. read more

Extremely poor customer service and very inconsiderate. They do not follow their own policies and have very poor communication. I bid on a silent auction stay supporting a charity organization and when I booked the reservation via the hotels number I told the individual that I had a certificate. I also told them the certificate requires approval. The customer service representative said that everything was approved, that it was not marked as a blackout date, and to show the certificate upon arrival. When I arrive I was denied using the certificate because it was during a black out period. The number they said to call was the number I called. I understand policies exist but why not educate customer service representative on how they work, I cannot be an expert at your own policies. Very frustrated that they ruin my weekend because of a very unclear and inconsiderate process. Call your own number so you can talk to your reservation line and educate them on how certificates work. read more

Beware of the Hotel Bevy. I reserved a suite there in October for an early December arrival. About three days before my arrival, the Bevy informed me the room had been double booked and I had to settle for a single room. Disappointed but OK with the room downgrade, when checking in, I was informed the new room charge was approximately $80 (before taxes and fees) less than the initially booked suite. I requested a refund on my credit card of an approximate $80 difference in the two room rates. Incredibly, the hotel told me they would not issue me the $80 credit on my credit card due to their non-cancellation policy-for the suite! They did offer some non-meaningful alternatives like Hilton points which I never use. This entire situation was the fault of the hotel by not providing me with the room I reserved and paid for in advance, yet they assumed no responsibility for the reservation error and then sought to penalize me by overcharging me for their error. The Hotel Bevy displayed a duplicity I have never encountered in my many years of travel. read more

Not a fan. Our smoke detector began beeping at 1 AM; the low battery every 30 second beep. My wife called to guest services and they said they'd get someone to fix it the next morning but they would discount our bill. I couldn't believe that was their solution!!! I then called and was told the same thing; full hotel, discount, fix it tomorrow. At that point what are you supposed to do??? Eventually I couldn't take it and rolled the chair over to the alarm and dismantled it from the wall. It still wouldn't stop beeping even after I removed the battery so I stuck it in our fridge to muffle it. A little while later, we get a call about a cancellation but we let them know we temporarily remedied the situation and didn't feel like making a room transfer at 2-3 in the morning. The next day, being tired, I stayed in to watch football games while the wife went shopping. No one ever came by to fix it or even offer their concern that the room was now in fire code violation. Around 5PM I took the alarm to the front desk explaining what happened and by the time I returned it was replaced. Upon checkout I pointed out that we were offered a discount for our troubles by the hotel that night. After a couple of confused looks and I guess a call to a manager they said no discount cause it was booked through Expedia. Needles to say, this hotel staff cares nothing about your experience and if you book through a second party, they don't have any concern about your experience. Additionally, I'll also add to the fact that because of the restaurant; we were stuck parking at another property. It was a decent place but no better than most of the other big box hotels in the area. Not worth all this hassle and definitely not worth the price in my opinion. read more
