Professional and kind staff who were happy to have new customers trying their food. We didn't wait long for the food and were able to admire the themed interior with plenty of information on local businesses. My mother loved the chicken and salad. The spinach and feta pastries were fantastic, too. You should also try their chocolate baklava. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, these were just our favorites. The kind man who rang us out was so sweet, very attentive and very friendly. The entire restaurant looks super cute, has a very "mom 'n' pop's" style. Ok, first thing, Covid Restrictions in place. They have a sign on the counter, some sort of a variance so they do not have to wear masks, I guess while preparing food. Regardless, they have only half of their seating available. They do enforce customers wearing masks while ordering or waiting. The place is located in a small strip of stores. it was very dark and we did drive past since the sign out front was one of those multi-purpose signs for several operations in the building. We walk in and are greeted immediately. Friendly young lady takes our order and tells us to have a seat and it will be ready shortly. I ordered the Gyro Burger, consisting of gyro meat with tzatziki, feta cheese, onions, tomatoes and tirokafteri (spicy sauce), and a side order of American fries. My wife ordered the mousakas, a small Greek Salad and a slice of baklava. Our timing was good! When we walked in, there was only one person ahead of us waiting for carryout. However, the cafe must have been preparing other phone orders. Plus, after we sat down, 4 more folks came in and placed orders to go. When they finally called our name for us to pick up our food, the young lady apologized for taking longer than usual and included an extra piece of baklava to make up for the delay. Ok, the food! Be HUNGRY!! The portions were quite generous! The Gyro burger was BIG! A ton of meat, nice, dark, fresh slice of tomato, some onions, the homemade tzatziki and the super tasty tirokafteri! THE special spicy sauce. Interesting stuff, it tastes sweet initially , then you can taste the spice . Not hot , but a really nice flavor. BE FOREWARNED!! Lots of meat and sauce, huge bun, be prepared to use a knife and fork oaths thing as it got messy REALLY fast. But was REALLY Good! The moussaka looked delicious. Again, a very large portion. So big, my wife brought half of it home. She said it was some of the best she has had. The salad looked like it was made from all totally fresh ingredients. And the salad dressing looked and tasted fresh, too. This was in Harrison so for us , it's about a 25 minute drive, but well worth it! If you are in the mood for some GOOD greek food, but nothing fancy as in decor, but clean and bright, THIS is the place to go. Recommend it big time! read more

I had the traditional gyro with Greek fries. The gyro was big with lots of meat. The tzatziki was really good and so was the pita. The Greek seasoning on the fries with feta cheese was good. Pleasantly surprised to find great Greek food in Harrison. (The only Greek restaurant in Louisville is at the once a year Orthodox Festival.) I got takeout, and the hummus was perfect with the fresh pita, and the falafel crisp and not oily. I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu. Service was quick and friendly. read more

My bf and I were trying to figure out where to go for lunch yesterday and his dad recommended this place so we gave a shot since is was closed by. The place is your typical family own restaurant, so is tiny but very neat and catchy since is had ocean blue color all over and Greek decorations all over so it really takes you somewhere. The options are listed on a wall so no menus which is sort of weird but not a big deal, the guy who there was nice and answered all questions about the food. I ordered a Greek salad along with grape leafs and my bf ordered the gyro. Honestly I was expecting better flavor, I've had Greek salads and this was not it, I mean the veggies were fresh and tasty but nothing you can't cut at home for less money, also the grape leafs were like can grape leafs which means they were terrible, I was disappointed. On the other hand, my bf liked the gyro I'm didn't try it but he said it was alright. I had higher exceptions since is a small place and food is usually good and homie at places like those, with that being said not planning on going back there. read more

Based on our visit tonight, I would not recommend or visit again. Initially I was disappointed that you had to purchase bottled water vs being able to ask for a cup of water. I saw that their menu stated that drinks did not come with ice, but was hoping to at least get a cup of water for my kids who don't drink soda or the other bottled drinks available without the extra charge. The price for Greek fries was also too high for the small and soggy order we received. The visit continued to go downhill when my two kids' cheese coneys arrived way too sloppy and soggy for them to eat. We attempted to cut and scoop them with a fork and knife. Finally, I found the women's restroom with a sign that said "closed, use men's", which was unpleasant to help my young daughter with. Once inside the men's restroom we also found the paper towel dispenser with an "out of order" sign which was about on par with our whole experience. The only reason for giving 2 stars versus 1 is that my husband's traditional gyro was a fairly large size and he said it had a good taste and flavor. read more

It has a very comfortable and homey feel to it, and a wide selection of food to choose from. Prices were decent and my to-go order was out pretty quickly. Very good Gyro! They don't skimp on the meat and their sides are pretty good too! The fries I ask them to be fried a little extra (they're not crispy otherwise). The baklava has improved a lot since they first opened. They're very good. Of course the olives and feta cheese are great on the side! Not a fan of the grape leaf appetizer. read more
