    Beef/Lamb Gyro with Feta

Mike's is down the road from a place I'm doing work for, and I've been wanting to give it a try. I got a loaded coney and beef/lamb gyro with feta. The coney was by far the best coney I've had in Cincinnati, and I've had most. I really want to try a 4-way now because the chili was great. The gyro was just right, nice portion of meat and sauce. I'm definitely making this my go-to chili and gyro stop in the Cincinnati area. Good price too, gyro/coney/Pepsi for $14. Also, the server was very friendly, great service overall.

When I walked into the place, the cook and the woman at the counter (the manager) were having what sounded like a family argument (in Greek?), which just enhances the charm of the place. The cook was friendly and greeted me, in between words with the manager. After a bit, the waitress arrived and asked me what I wanted to drink. It's a small place with a few indoor and a few outdoor tables, plus 3 stools at the counter. Obviously, they can't handle large crowds in colder weather. They have a drive-thru. One difference I noticed when I entered was the lack of the smell of grease, compared to their location on Brookwood and Washington on the west side of Hamilton. Everything seemed clean at both stores, although it took them a bit of time to clean tables after people left. On the back of the menu, they have some combos, including the #1 combo with the gyros, fries, and drink I ordered for $8.99. Does that seem a scary price? The last place where I got such a combo was $5.99 and yes, the gyros was smaller with the price. Feta cheese is an additional $1.00. Adding a tip takes a bite out of that $15.00 you kept for a fancy meal. The food was good, and I was treated well. I can't say enough how that feels. I've been too many places where no one cares, so thanks to them, I felt better, even though they were otherwise occupied with restaurant business. I was kind of surprised to see the waitress carrying several heads of lettuce which were apparently delivered through the drive-thru window. In any case, it was a good experience, even if the price was a bit scary. It seems a little dangerous trying to get into the parking lot. It may be easier to go to where Dixie Highway goes north and use the back way to get into the parking lot, rather than risk a rear end collision.

Chili is good. My grandson had his first three-way here! He has been eating them ever since.

The drinks all taste not that good. The service is really slow. I waited in line for 10+ minutes. Food is so good though.

Food was good, but the prices are crazy! Had three cheese coneys a gyro and two large doctor peppers and the invoice was over $23.00

Looks to be a quick serve setup, where you order and pay at the counter and they deliver to your table. I saw a few people dining in. Nice and clean inside with simple and soothing decor. Got two gyros and an order of stuffed grape leaves to go. The gyros were absolutely enormous where you need a fork to eat at least half the meat before you could even think about holding it. Nice and fresh and very tasty, though I was expecting the meat to be much more thinly sliced, and it was a wee bit short on the Tzatziki. Note to self: order extra on the side. The grape leaves were perfect, lemony and refreshing with a nice slightly crisp bite to reveal the tender filling. Beautifully wrapped too so nothing spilled out. I called my order in. I noticed the website must be directly powered by a third party delivery system as it had inflated prices, even if you choose the pickup option. So pick up the phone and call if you want to pay the regular menu prices. The gentleman who took my order and waited on me was very polite and cheerful. I'll be back!

The flavors were packed, the chicken was…read moretender, juicy, and full of that grilled goodness, and every bite reminded me why Mediterranean food is elite. The entrée salad was simple but perfect -- finely chopped lettuce with a light vinaigrette that tasted fresh and clean. Even the rice was cooked perfectly with just the right seasoning to hit the palate. The cabbage rolls were a standout -- soft, flavorful, and held together beautifully without falling apart. Truly, the kitchen knows what they're doing. Food is a solid 5/5. Now... the vibes. This is where things took a turn. When you walk in, the atmosphere just doesn't feel welcoming. The server didn't offer suggestions -- even after we mentioned it was our first visit -- which was disappointing but not a dealbreaker since we still managed to pick great dishes. The dining room was so quiet you could hear other tables cutting their food, and the music kept cutting in and out, which made things feel even more awkward. The staff wasn't rude, but the energy just wasn't there. Service is a generous 1/5. Would I recommend Sultans? For the flavor -- absolutely. Would I dine in again? Probably not, at least not until the atmosphere matches the quality of the food. So overall, I'm giving this place a 3.5 out of 5, and that score is solely carried by the incredible food, not the dine‑in experience. In the meantime due to the vibes I got we will be looking for somewhere different unfortunately. Skip the coffee you will see in the pictures on my black coffee.

Was interested in having the Doner Kebab, but they did not have that available for lunch even though it is listed on the menu. Had the Adana kebab instead. It was tasty.
