Nick coordinated the mixing with band members scattered across the country with aplomb. Not only did he get the sound we wanted, he made a few key suggestions that really helped with certain songs. Further, he was able to work with our schedule and still produce a product that we were really proud of. I would definitely recommend Nick and Suburban Soul to anyone in the area. As a matter of fact, even though I'm in Northern CA now, if I needed to record, I might just travel down to work with him again.

However, prices are going up in a month a couple bucks, so keep that in mind. They have small, medium, and large rooms. The medium room seems like a large to me. We got 7 people in there with amps. Unlike many rehearsal studios, this one provides a snare, in case you don't want to lug yours. I've seen the owner with a double bass pedal but am not sure if that is able to be used or you have to pay extra. The owner is pretty friendly. There is even a record store attached to the rehearsal studios. The only problem I've found was parking. Sometimes I get lucky and find a spot right out front, and sometimes I have to park all the way around the block. Still, it's totally worth checking out. Recommended for band practice.
