There is a single entry door and inside there are 9-10 bays. Each of the wash bays are wide, and each bay has all the same equipment, wash wand, foam brush, dryer and vacuum. I have two gripes about Sparkle and one is not something they can control. This place is good and it's popular. Try going at peak times and you are definitely waiting. The other gripe is the price. Min $2 to start and that buys you 4 mins. Every dollar there after buys you 2 mins. If you have a large vehicle or it takes a while to clean, up go the mins and the dollars. To get a proper soap, foam brush, rinse, I'm usually in for $10-$14, and sometimes as high as $16, depending on my speed and the grime on my car. The nice thing, I've never stepped in some other cars slop. Keep up the cleanliness Sparkle, and I'll keep coming back.

I went into their self service stalls around 7pm and found only 2 of their 8 stalls occupied. You just drive right in, pick a stall, park, put your money into the machine and you're good to go. The first thing that impressed me about this location were the 'steps' they had for cleaning your vehicle. Although I did not follow this exactly, I think it would be useful for people doing this for the first time. I liked how I could hang my mats along the front rack, and blast them with the pressure washer. There was no attendant or anything there, so I felt I could take my time...although make sure to press the stop button, otherwise the meter will keep on going. The facility seems well maintained and clean, which is saying something considering the dirty road conditions we have in the city. The prices seemed fair, and I paid $8 for a clean car (with clean floor mats)...not a bad deal!

I am so sick and tired of a business who hires people who do not care at all about the people they are supposed to be helping. And then the business has the nerve to say how they are different. Right.....just a bunch of liars. The service at this location has been going down hill for a couple years now, this was the last time I go and spend my money there. I refuse to deal with liars.

My friend had driven up from Calgary and was in the middle of a road trip where her front bumper had become unbracketed/was dragging on the ground. They helped us free of charge and popped it back into place! We were very thankful as she needed to drive back to Calgary and a quick fix like this helped her get home. This is mostly a comment on that staff. They were friendly and helpful. Without them she may not have been able to get back on the road. There was only about half an hour left in their shit and they helped us out quickly! Thank you!

This is quite possibly the largest Hughes station in Edmonton. If you're looking for a car wash to…read moreclean the car and not have to wait, this is it. This Hughes has around 20 stalls in the car wash so that means there usually isn't a long line up. The car wash is indoor which is nice especially on those cold Edmonton winter days. If there isn't a long line up you can take as much time as you need to clean your car from scrubbing to vacuuming. If it is a really busy day they do discourage wiping down your car with drying towels. Each stall also has it's own garbage can which is nice for getting rid of all the garbage that might pile up in your car. The water pressure isn't the best so you do have to rinse 3-4 times more than usual. The sprayer also has a difficult time switching between rinse and soap. Inside the store they have a token machine you can use to get tokens for the car wash. The token's are only a dollar. Their food and drink selection is average gas station style. The prices are on par with other gas stations in the area. Will I use this station again? Yes I will due to the fact that there are usually always open stalls.
