I came in to get a pen for myself and had my African American friend tag along because I'm not experienced on vape sh*t and she knows a lot from her bf (20) about it. Just for us to get kicked out because she turns 18 in 2 months and can't be in the store. (This experience was probably racially motivated) If you're going restrict underage people from coming in you should ID at the door. Just lost a costumer and therefore lost money. I work for a Vape shop in Raleigh North Carolina, I came down to Greenville on my motorcycle and won't be in this store a hot mess and was treated as though I had been going to that store since day one. The gentleman that helped me out was more than helpful as well as knowledgeable about not only some products but all products. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Helped a newbie trying to quit smoking learn what you need to know to get started. So I bought my vaporizer there and several bottles of oil (about $250). Life was good. 3 weeks later my step son cross threaded my tank to my box. I couldn't get it off. I took it in to ask them what we could do. User error, there's nothing we can do. Sucks, but fair enough I can understand. I didn't feel like the owner particularly cared that I had just wasted $150 however. No real compassion or empathy, no "maybe we can salvage this piece", nothing. Just yeah, you screwed up. I wasn't totally upset with them, it WAS user error after all and I had to suck it up. So I buy another mod online (way cheaper by the way). I then realize I have a pack of unopened, unused coils I purchased there not a week ago that won't fit my new rig. They are sealed with aluminum foil, so I figure "Hey I can return these and swap them for a bottle". Absolutely not. I go in there and the owner with his same smarmy attitude "Yeah, no we can't return those, that's our policy". They are unopened. He knows I just wasted a ton of money. He makes the policy. The shop and the staff are great, but if you have a problem of any kind expect the owner/manager to be completely unhelpful. There are 100 different ways he could have handled it to try and make me feel a little better about a crappy situation. They have house juice they could have just swapped out my coils for. Maybe it costs him 6 or 7 dollars (it wouldnt, he could resell those completely sealed, unused coils) but I would be back week after week to spend 100s of dollars on oils. Short sighted and terrible customer service from the owner. I won't be back. read more

Between my roommate and I we've been coming here since they have opened. That being said we have been sold dud coils several times, I bought one not even 12 hours ago and due to the curfew could not make it back to exchange the dud. They told me a 25% off the next one is the best they could do. Yet they are allowed to sell products that do not work. Do not shop here, spend your money elsewhere such as online they have better pricing and will back their products. read more

I purchased a Smok Vape Pen 22 March 15. I was looking for a pen that was simple and easy to use since the last time I vaped was in 2011. As soon as I took it home, I was already having problems with it leaking. Over the course of a couple of weeks, the pen was leaking profusely to the point that the e-liquid was coming out of the vaping holes, on/off button, and even the usb port. Ultimately, I decided that it was time for me to go back in. I stopped by some the week of March 27-31. I explained to the associate that problems with the Vape Pen. He dissembled it, stared at it, and said, "I think you need a new coil." I explained to him that I just purchased the pen only a couple of weeks ago. He then re-looked at the coil and noticed that it was a new coil. He reassembled the pen, put liquid in it, and asked to blow in the vape pen. After doing so, liquid, as I explained to him, began to immedately leak out of all holes, including the off/on button. He said, "Hmmm, let me look on reddit." One he said "reddit," that was an immediately indication to me that he had no idea what type of product he was selling. He looked up reddit and stated, "Yep, there is a design flaw in this system. Other people have been having problems. But, I think you will be fine." He then said, "If you have any more problems, come back." Clearly, he was not willing to make an exchange or return. Not having a lot of time on my hands, I immediately left feeling frustrated. Why sell a product that has a design flaw? And furthermore, knowing that there is an issue with the product you just sold to a customer (i.e. me), why not automatically offer an exchange or return? After putting up with it for another week, I decided to go back in to the store with my partner today (4/9). Again, another associate disassembled it, stared at it, made the recommendation of changing the coil, assembled it, and asked to me to blow into the vaping pen. Same thing happened: liquid profusely leaked out of the pen, including the on/off button. He then gave me the same spill of, "Wow, I've never seen this before." Finally, he said, "Well, I think the coil is defective. Of course, he also mentioned that this may not fix the issue." He then explained to my partner and me that in order to replace the coil, which may fix it or not fix it, I would have to spend more of my own money to get the new coil. I then said, "Why would I buy a new coil (spend more of my own money) to test whether that fixes the problem or not? I've already shelled out 30 dollars on a defective vaping pen plus gas money and time going back to the store. My partner then mentioned a return or exchange. We were then told that they don't do returns or exchanges. To summarize, I just wasted 30 dollars on a vaping pen (clearly defective) from a store that is carrying the item, selling the item, and doesn't know a thing about the item that then suggests I spend more money on coils that may not even fix the problem, and they don't do returns or exchanges. I bought a paper weight. Don't go to this store. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Waste of time. Waste of money. Unethical. read more
