They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

After having the typical office visits and finding out how much my high deductible insurance was going to cost monthly with them and their unwillingness to work with other payment plans, I looked into other birthing methods. I won't lie, the price was the leading factor. However, once I found out there is a birthing center near me I KNEW I had to check it out and I'm so very glad I did. My boyfriend wasn't as keen on the idea but was open to meeting them because he knew how excited I was over it. We met with one of the midwives and she more than answered my long list of questions. She reassured him as well so that he became excited at this experience also. I haven't given birth here yet but I'm down to bi-weekly appointments now with baby due mid-July. I've meet all of the midwives at DeLand except for Kaleen but have an appointment set up with her for later in the month. Everyone has been great so far; it's so opposite from the typical hospital visit and I love that. The atmosphere is so much better than being at a hospital. My greatest worry? That I DON'T end up giving birth here for some reason.

My daughter had a wonderful home birth with Karen and 2 student midwives on10/27/13. Now pregnant again, she is gratefully returning to Karen, who has moved to a new Port Orange office location,btw. Home birth is not for everyone. But if you are a healthy woman, with no complications that would make home birth not a choice, visit Karen. You will experience health care beyond anything you will experience with GYN MD or hospital birth. I had a home birth in1985..... beyond words to describe how amazing. Scared and dismayed by hospital birth choices in Ft. Lauderdale, and encouraged by an engineer friend who had 3 home births, I had first visit with Sara Pinkman at 6 months pregnant. Please don't wait that long to visit Karen. Midwives need to establish a relationship with you. My love and respect for Karen is huge. Just FYI, I am a retired RN. Home birth is safe.

It's not fun to be sick and bloated and sore and in pain and not know why. I had been searching for an answer for a couple years and finally, with Dr. Hunt's expertise, found out what was wrong. He is gracious, kind, patient, loving and God fearing. He is an expert in his field and I am so blessed to have him in my corner. My cancer was rare and aggressive and scared the hell out of me, but Dr. Hunt walked me through all the choices and decisions that I had to face and gave me nothing but honest and bold answers to all my questions. His staff is caring and sweet. They always were supportive and generous with their time, never making me feel I was a pain in the butt. I cannot recommend him, or his staff, highly enough. After going to the urology clinic in Ormond Beach, not this one, but the one with all the doctors…read morethat is one of the worst hell holes on earth, and then after going to the chain in Daytona Beach which was even worse if that is possible, I finally found Dr. Schneider. After the other place in Daytona which doesn't answer the phone for hours and is extremely dirty, I went here and found out I never had a UTI to begin with and they have been treating me with antibiotics for months at that other place and I never needed them at all. They did a catheter catch here to make sure it wasn't contaminated and it was negative and they had a great attitude. I highly recommend this place and highly highly recommend to stay away from the Daytona urologist on Health Road and also the one right near this office for Florida urology in ormond beach. This is the only place to go for me and I'm very grateful for Dr. Schneider.
