Since he had recently joined the practice and seemed to have more appointment availability than the other providers, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Looking back, I'm so glad I gave him a chance. He was thorough, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. He even took the time to ask whether I had any concerns that he hadn't already addressed, which I truly appreciated. Beyond my experience with Dr. Hopper, I was especially impressed that the practice has its own mammography equipment on site. For years, I've had to schedule a separate appointment at a diagnostic center and then wait for the results to be sent back to my gynecologist. Having everything handled in one location is incredibly convenient and a major plus for me. I was also grateful that they were able to fit me in for a mammogram at the last minute. Kelsey was friendly, accommodating, and made the entire process quick and comfortable. She kindly worked me in just before her lunch break, which I greatly appreciated. She easily could have asked me to wait (a whole hour) or rescheduled me for another day, but instead she went out of her way to help. From the physician to the support staff, everyone I encountered was professional, courteous, and genuinely caring. I cannot say enough great things about this office. I left feeling well cared for, and I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others.

He looks me dead in the face says what to you want me to do. I'm like help me... he does his exam( which consists of him sticking his finger in my vagina and swirls it around... sniffs it then wipes it on a Petri dish) looks at my discharge on a microscope says there's nothing there. Then proceeds to give me the same medication I told him didn't work. He didn't send any sample in for testing. I thought maybe he wants to see for himself that this medication doesn't work. I see him a few times get the same medicine the same type of exam. Then at my last visit he says he's tried everything. He then looks me dead in my face a says " you are very heavy and smell is going to happen unfortunately. the winter is coming so the smell should go away. want to see you back in 6 months." Then sends me on way. Come to find out I went to a different GYN and I have something called AV. So it's not because I'm fat... I'm really not even heavy. So go somewhere else do not see this asshole. Not once did he send ANYTHING IN for testing. He basically fingered me, sniffed it and wiped it on a dish.... How is that even remotely okay. I was so desperate for a solution, I ignored the red flags. Please there are better doctors out there. Don't go to this practice.

However he prescribed medicine which he knew I was allergic to and was not happy about my asking for a different prescription to be sent to a pharmacy that could provide what was needed. He had seen me previously and knowing I needed a follow up as a previous cancer patient, said he didn't have time to examine me. They said they were closing in December but I was trying to get an appt. in the summer! I told the staff I could see one of the nurses or pa's but they would not accomodate me. Without my permission he sent my file to a different doctor located in a different city. This doctor never called me and I was not interested in seeing him. When I asked for my file they wanted to charge me per page and said I had to come to Ocala to get it! Finally, they agreed to send it to me. They had a sign hanging on their wall which was their supposed mission statement that "we are all friends here etc". They certainly failed to live up to their claims.

For a place that is supposed to support women's health, the lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking. Trying to contact the office is just as frustrating. When you call, you can't actually get ahold of the office. Everything goes through a call center, and you rarely reach anyone who can actually help or answer questions.
