CFS&PT never sent…read moreme a billing statement for the $440.00 they say I owed before sending me to a collection agency in late 2024, 2 yrs after my therapy that I stopped because of billing denials. I cannot find an unpaid claim and they have not provided any proof of one. They have not returned or answered my phone calls or e-mails or been able to provide me with a date of service or CPT codes and modifiers billed but denied. I do not recommend going to this musty office with grimy equipment, an incompetent biller, and a president/physical therapist who does not seem to care. I have been to several other PT facilities since and I have not had any billing problems. I stopped my therapy at CFS&PT in 2022 because there were numerous denials by my UHC for inappropriate or missing CPT modifiers and the biller would never call me back to discuss the problem. UHC and many other insurances follow Medicare billing rules for appending several sets of modifiers to PT, OT and ST CPT codes so they should, BUT DON'T, know how to bill every insurance properly and timely.

While my mother was in the ER, the doctor checked on us only once and never returned to discuss her lab results or answer our questions, despite us waiting for updates. I was only getting update beacuse I will ask to random nurses and sometimes I did not even get them When I approached the nurses' station to ask that I wanted to see the doctor , I overheard the doctor say, "No, I'm not going back to those people in that room." This was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, especially for a 97-year-old patient. After the doctor realized I had overheard the comment, she attempted to speak with me, but by then the damage was done. I told her that was no way to talked about patients she was caring for and I walked away We felt completely ignored and uninformed about my mother's condition the entire time. And this is not the first time I have heard about Orlando Health doctors. A friend of mine who is a former employee has heard even worse from doctors there. Orlando Health is known to have racist doctors. It is sad that the USA health system is one of the worst in the world. Latinos and ethnic people receive the worst treatment -- not always, but sometimes -- from what seems to be racist doctors. I personally saw the same doctor rushing to a white patient's room while she passed by me ignoring me, I am right now extremely mad about these so-called professionals. They clearly care more about money or White people than the wellbeing of other patients. Karma is a bitch. You will get what's coming to you, you fucking bitch. As a family member advocating for an elderly patient, I expect basic communication, professionalism, and compassion. This experience showed none of that. My daughter has been struggling with mental health for a while and every time I called an office, either they did not accept her insurance or appointments were several months away. She had a mental health crisis recently and as a mother, I found myself desperate in finding her someone that could see her ASAP. She has a behavioral therapist who recommended a psychological evaluation based on recent changes in her mental health and she was seeing a neuropsychologist, but she could not see her for her current diagnosis and she is on maternity leave. As I did Google searches, I stumbled across PPS and read the reviews. I was skeptical at first, but when I called they treated me with kindness, compassion and respect. As I explained our situation, they listened and asked so many questions to ensure they could provide the care and services my daughter required. Our first appointment was 9/21/2022 and we were greeted by friendly faces and smiles from the front desk staff. The wait time was not long and we were taken back within 15-20 minutes of our scheduled appointment. We met with Sarah Pedroza and she was amazing. We did not feel rushed, a plan of care was created for my daughter, and we left feeling heard and my daughter left with a smile on her face. Sarah educated us on additional resources available and her communication skills/strategies were able to break some of the social barriers my daughter had. My daughter felt comfortable and content because we left with future appointments, a PLAN, and reassurance that taking this step was the right one. They are definitely a busy office, but our initial impression and experience was a positive one. I will definitely leave another review further along our journey because it may be helpful to others. When you have a child on the spectrum everything matters. The white blonde hair lady behind the receptionist desk was immediately rude and snapped that we were too late for walk ins and we would have to return at 1:30p. So we wasted our time driving 45min here and being treated and spoken to like trash. This place will never receive our business again and I would not recommend this place. I don't give business to businesses that have zero customer service skills and are rude like this woman was. Maybe you should reevaluate your staff if you actually want business from anyone in the future.
