He immediately put me at ease and was very easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted! His salon is very inviting and has beautiful pictures around that CHRIS has painted! He is very talented and artistic! I LVE my new haircut! He cut off at least 6 inches and gave my hair a lot of long layers about shoulder length. My hair feels very healthy now and has a lot of movement and texture with side swept bangs! I would recommend him without hesitation! I love going to Kris at Bladerunner. I (female) had lost my 15 year hair stylist in 2022, and since then had been bouncing around trying out different salons. Paying $75 (min.) for a mediocre haircut that was never the same the second visit, was frustrating and getting old so I thought outside the box and found the micro salon. I have gotten 4-5 haircuts from Kris, and even sent my mother to see him while she was visiting, and I highly recommend him. I am always happy with the cut, Kris is fast (30 minute for long hair), and the price is more than reasonable. It's just Kris with one chair and a barber shop vibe so if you are looking for the posh salon experience then the micro salon is probably not for you, but if you want to be happy with the end result then definitely give Kris a try. read more

I was looking for a salon in my neighborhood and when I was researching I saw a lot of dog pictures from blade runner Salon. I was very impressed, the dogs were very attractive. My personality is such that I need a very complex haircut. I really need something that says " I'm serious. I can get a job. I can pay bills. I have social skills. I'm a normal person". Also. This haircut might need to say. "Look here I'm a professional Carney and I got the credentials to prove it. Look at me that way and you might discover I'm a professional shill for the entire operation you got me?!" I presented my vision board I had vision quested into manifestation. Low and behold. I was given the perfect haircut. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the mullet. That's right! Classic business up front, party in the back. It says I might be a patron, or I could be working in the club. Keeps me going, and keep you guessing. Seriously. Love the Salon. The haircut is always really great! The space is intimate and comfortable and doesn't have a bunch of busy distractions. It's a much more soothing and relaxing environment than any other salon I've been in. This may actually embarrass Chris, the owner of this fantastic place. Waaayyy back when, people used to get their hair cut, beards trimmed, or a root touch up in their local hair salon/barber shop. They'd hang out a little, relax, maybe enjoy a soda pop. You know, like the one on the Andy Griffith show. Okay so Bladerunner Micro Salon is that, only better. It's a cozy place, with comic books to read, usually a painting in progress on an easel (sans the smell of drying paint), epic collection of old Snoopy items, beard and mustache maintenance products so your significant other doesn't break out in a rash, micro brews in the fridge if you're stressed about taking a little off the top or a lot off the bottom, and the best part of all...Chris. The guy who owns the place. Let me describe what he brings to the joint. Laid back, great listener, no pretense just a truly nice guy, easy on the eyes for those of you who like having something nice to look at, meticulous and talented at what he does, knows of what he speaks if you ask his opinion on bangs or no bangs, understands about the care and feeding of your facial hair so don't think he's just about haircuts, is fantastic with kids (parents, he will listen to your input about your kiddo's haircut but also wants to hear from the cute face under the head of hair he's cutting), knows color and how to touch up those grays, and you will honestly be amazed at what he charges for his talent. The average woman pays a crazy amount of money for a haircut. What's crazier? Many women believe a haircut isn't a good one unless she's paying close to $100. If that's your paradigm, do not, I repeat do not, let Chris cut/style your hair. Now for those of you with more of an open mind, get your luscious locks in there and let the man do his magic! Men? I know very little of what your hairs are all about...face or otherwise. I do know this, men are his main client base for a reason. Women want to pay way more so they end up elsewhere, and you know my take on that. People just go. Super chill and great experience. Chris was so very nice and it was fun to chat with a fellow artist. I'm a woman and I had long hair that I was ready to cut, but was still a little nervous about doing so. I brought in some pictures and Chris gave me some awesome layers that fit the vibe! He was really communicative and asking for feedback as he was making changes, which is appreciated. I feel he wants to be helpful and make people happy. He even said I could come back the next day if after a wash it needed some tweaks, as can happen with curly hair - which I didn't need to do, by the way! It looked and felt great.
