Each room in the house is dedicated towards men's, womens, girls, and kitchen items. They do have a lot of clothes, but they also specialize in dishware, unique knickknacks, kitchen items, pictures, and shoes. They do have a unique tag numbering system which determines how much of a discount you get. They are only open during limited hours of 9 to 3 Thursday through Saturday. I'm unable to take advantage of all that they sell because I don't deal in clothes or jewelry. When I take a lady friend with me, she has found some useful clothing. Personally, since I'm a picker/reseller I find initial prices a bit high to be able to make a reasonable profit but, I have on occasion found a few bargains. Their prices tend to be a little close to retail which, if you're shopping for yourself is not an issue. They do have price decreases after stock has been in the store unsold for a determined time which, while nice isn't much help because when I visit, most of the items on hand have been put out recently enough that discounts don't apply. Not living in the area, I only visit intermittently (when I need medical imaging across the street from the shop or visit Luciano's restaurant) so I don't have the opportunity to note the discount days on interesting items and visit the location on the appropriate day. So, if making a "killing" on the price is not all that important to you because you are the end user I recommend this shop. If you are a reseller, while it's possible to find something you can resell at a profit I don't think the likelihood is all that high. However, if you happen to be in the area on other business it's definitely worth dropping by.

We pulled up near the front entrance and were immediately confronted by an aggressive young homeless man wanting money. He wouldn't let me get out of the car and then started angrily lecturing me. There were other indigent people around the entrance as well so we just backed up and left. I'm all for helping the poor, but when they obstruct your business and prevent your customers from coming in, then your business suffers.

The shop is well curated with something for everyone to love. My favorite things that tugged my wallet were the bedding and grow pillows (very unique and high quality) and there are these incredibly soft kids button down shirts that would be great to get wet at the beach, dry quickly, protect from the sun AND look dapper all at once. Where a lot of the other shops are over cluttered, I appreciate the clear movement through this store with clean displays. Of course, like many tourist stores, it is quite kitschy, but I did end up purchasing something here, a Ginger Sage Mist for sprucing up our guest room. It's been a welcome addition to the house. Also, I found the workers here extremely friendly. Note: I did appreciate the purchase summary breaking down the tax cost to the shopper. They include Texas State Tax (6.25%), Aransas County Tax (0.5%), Rockport City Tax (1%), and Aransas County Health Services Tax (0.5%).
