The apartments have a lot of Cockroaches , the managers take more than 1 month to fix things, I still have my ac damaged, you can't get a parking space after 10 you have to use a ticket, no one uses it and the cars are not towed, very bad in general read more

years - constant repeat work orders from failure to complete the job the 1st time. Lazy maintenance who's lack thereof created two situations in my home creating dangerous living situation such as Rusty water like in a puddle all around the water heater in the laundry room that needed to be replaced which is near the kitchen counter and the garbage disposal. The old water heater with the rusty water all in the bottom was left as if by the maintenance manager for almost 2 weeks the time it took to get this water heater replaced I didn't feel comfortable with that I sprayed liquid comment all around in the water and stuck old raggedy rags that I can throw away in there set them on there to cover this water. I had a sink that fell into the cabinet below cracking the garbage disposal which I didn't know however the technician knew it because he was under the cabinet when he was replacing the sink and putting it back in place I didn't find out this fun fact until after the fact several weeks later later I end up with a horrible stench in my house only to locate it came from under the sink where the garbage disposal was cracked and smelled terrible that the technician saw he was under the cabinet when he replaced the sink . I began to see roaches crawling out from under the sink from behind the water heater that he just replaced it was just terrible and nasty. After I request it for the pest control to come out every weekend spray until these roaches were going out of my house I was told after a couple weeks he couldn't come anymore bye the pest control the office felt like it was too many chemicals so I had to get my own chemicals to complete the job and get these roaches out of my house it took a couple months but I did it which is insane. They left me hanging and this situation creating roaches (lack of accountability.) Nasty neighbors who have bad living habits creating roaches. No one follows the rules including the management that runs the property they simply don't care. Inadequate parking only the the leaseholders can have a decal for their car, otherwise you park out there at your own risk . Limited visitor parking can only be used 14 days out of 365 per car per year. And they will tow your car at your expense due to their inadequate parking. Cars used to park in the streets in front of the garages and in the back of other cars parked and cars have been sideswiped hit and run on this property Multiple times. The children right around on electric scooters in the parking lots with cars coming at four different interests at all time there's no security so you can forget that the cameras don't even work even at the pool they don't follow the rules they have beer out there, leave the pool trashy there's a board up for rules that nobody follows Kids jump and dive and throw balls from one side of the pool to the other like they're playing dodgeball disrespect any other children and people there it's just it's really crazy it's a bad environment it's not what I would consider luxury at all, there's plenty of luxury apartments in Bluffton this isn't one of them and I think it starts with the management . There's only one pool by the way that they open even though it's advertised as having two pools. At the pool you will see pieces of broken balloon, food left around the pool clothes just trashy. it takes away from the whole false advertisement of these being Luxury Apartments Car windows broken, a person died in their apartment no one knew for several weeks including the management after they realized he was deceased they turned around and put a tow sticker on his car and had his car towed. You pay for valet trash but you don't have an option of that only comes out 5 days a week but there's seven days in a week right ? I find out for my Jamaican boyfriend this is an apartment over the years where lots of Lots of immigrants move in here from Jamaica Africa Mexico but these apartments is actually like it's like a little Mexico. I wish I saw a post like this before I moved in because I would have made another choice and I did look at the reviews before I moved in by the way so Choose Wisely. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!! if you want your packages delivered and STOLEN from your front door, to have noisy and threatening neighbors, to have the front office ignore your consistent emails and texts and to belittle your concerns, then yes move here. Otherwise RUN! Not only have I been consistently threatened and scared to leave my apartment due to my loud and noisy upstairs neighbors, but when I provided ring footage to the front office they shrugged it off and instead decided I was "noise sensitive". not to mention, I got a delivery stolen from my front door, with ring footage as well and they just said "maybe we can try to find them" when it was clear it was the neighbors RIGHT NEXT DOOR. this place cares about nothing besides your money. they don't do what they say they going to do and have an attitude when you try to follow up to get things resolved. The kind folks at Bluestone came up with the idea that we should create a large rental property and then create a parking lot that would provide roughly 70% of the residents with parking. After working for 12 hours straight and coming straight home from work only to find no parking, Being forced to park against the curb, and then having a tow truck come around like a shark at 6 o'clock in the morning towing all the vehicles. How about the constant German cockroach infestation? Because the maintenance men are more preoccupied with racing their golf carts in the parking lot, than doing any actual work. Not that I blame them, with how Bluestone treats their residents I can only imagine the bs the maintenance employees deal with. I imagine providing free or extremely discounted housing to the maintenance employees though doesn't always draw the best talent to the job. I can sit here and continue to talk about all of the problems with the molding, the trim, the water damage, the black mold in the vents that they simply paint over and do nothing to eliminate the problem, and the ClockRoaches (as we've come to call them) but a picture is worth a thousand words, and I have an entire gallery. read more

Yea don't move in here....went through 4 management groups in the 5 months I've been here and somehow has gotten worse each time... Very little regard for residents...place is still dirty, they'll threaten / fine residents at the drop of a hat, and they'll tow your car faster than your friend can get their keys out of their pocket. Over crowded and loud and outdated. Everyone got an attitude in the office and if anyone ever reaches out to the residents, it's usually to remind us we're doing something wrong. Apparently we got management patrolling at night, but they're there to mark visitors cars' to be towed, not there to stop cars from being broken into or to clean up at night. (Which is what this place needs more than anything). read more

It is not as advertised. Way over priced for what it is. Place was filthy upon move in. Smells like cigarette smoke and the smell of weed comes through the vents. Door lock is broken. Mail box lock is broken. Faucet leaks. Lizards come through cracks in the window. They painted over the hvac filter. The exterior looks like tornado came through. Just an awful experience. Stay away from this place. The property is disgusting, the building are roach infested to the point that the only real solution would be to tent them, and the management is atrocious. For context, below, is a review by my wife, with a follow up from myself, previously posted on other review sites. STAY AWAY. We have lived here for several years, and under the management of CRC Realty the past couple of years, it has become absolutely unlivable. Overcrowded, overrun with garbage, bugs, maggots, you name it. The office staff puts on a professional and efficient facade when it comes to signing new people and pretending this is a great place to live, but there is no accountability for residents parking every which way and blocking your car, or leaving their trash sitting out all weekend in the heat, causing the hallway floors to be covered with maggots. Apparently making calls or visits to the office to complain doesn't go reported or on your record, so when nothing is done and you try to follow up, they pretend they knew nothing about it. Here are a few photos from our experience, this doesn't even scratch the surface of how bad it has gotten. We are counting down the minutes until we are out of here. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere in Bluffton, there are lots of great apartment complexes that aren't (literal) garbage dumps. Husband of the woman who complained about maggots here. It's worth adding that the buildings are roach infested. We had always been aware of the problem in our building and asked for pest control periodically to try and keep it under control, but upon moving out we realized the filth we were living in was much worse than we had originally thought. Now, we're losing hundreds of dollars of electronics and other valuables that have been claimed by roaches on top of paying thousands of dollars just to break our lease so we can gtfo. read more

they never got the parking under control just letting anyone park in the limit's amount of spots which forced me to park at planet fitness a couple nights and have to walk back in the dark to my unit. also my second bathroom sprung a leak behind the shower and after they tried to blame me for not using a shower curtain which is what caused the leak I informed them I don't use that shower and they gutted most of the bathroom and found the leak and then over the next few months never fixed it. Then when my water bill doubled and I was staying somewhere else the majority of the month they said they would have someone look into it which they never did so I got charged double what I did when I first moved and I never did laundry but no one did anything about it. All around bad bad bad place to live. Not safe, no parking, loud, bad ventilation, bad everything. Not a healthy place to live, people are getting their hard earned money absolutely stolen to live in an unhealthy living atmosphere. This place needs to be taken over by another management company and torn down and rebuilt. Google family watchdog, google other reviews and educate yourself on how whomever is living in these apartments have been deceived and screwed over. These apartments should be less than 2k to live in if not below 1300k unbelievable. Way too much to say about this place and it's unfortunate that they cant have common sense to make a change for the better. Disgusting place. Id recommend for residents to find better living because its out there trust me just do a little more digging around. BEWARE. Incredibly dishonest company. "Luxury" apartments is a joke to charge higher rent prices, these apartments are incredibly outdated, roach infested, disgusting, and DANGEROUS. My wife and I were displaced for three months due to our floor collapsing from water damage. It took them three months and the issue is still not resolved. I'm having to take the company to court to cover expenses that we're accrued during our inability to live in our apartment during those three months because the company refuses to cover the expenses, even after them offering to cover the expenses. They've only offered us a fraction of the cost of what we've had to spend for THEIR MISTAKE. We ask the neighbors how much they're paying for their updated apartment and ITS THE SAME COST. The breezeways are disgusting and covered in garbage/sludge from the trash "service" they offer. Incredibly over crowded and unable to find parking any time. Walls are paper thin so get used to listening to your neighbors cooking every meal, blasting music, or them having intercourse. The floors are all soft and the structural integrity of the buildings is dangerous. The office has gone through about 3 different managers since we've been renting. It's a total mess. Completely disorganized. They had the audacity to leave a "late fee notice" on our door while our apartment was unlivable in. Just another Bluffton housing trap that takes advantage of the working class in an increasingly gentrified area to live in. I can't even tell you how many horror stories I have about this place. It has been a total disaster. We couldn't even move in on time because "our apartment wasn't ready yet". When we moved in the apartment was absolutely disgusting and not what we had agreed to live in. The manager at the time wasn't going to credit us on the cost of having to wait to move in either, another mistake of THEIRS I've had to pay for. Absolutely dishonest in every way. Let's see what kind of pacifying comment they try to make here because in no way has this company tried to resolve these issues or has made any attempt to. read more

Do not move here. It seems nice enough but there is not even one parking space per apartment. The people who live here are locals who have jobs. They come home from working all day with nowhere to park. They resort to parking in fire lanes or anywhere their car will fit. Bluestone just made a new deal with United Towing to tow anyone not parked in a spot. They'll put a sticker on your car as a "warning" then tow it 30 minutes later. United will charge you $240 to get your car back. Cash only and they won't make change. I would not be surprised if Bluestone is getting kickbacks from the towing company for all the business. It's not like anyone can trace cash. Also you may not be able to get your car once you realize it's gone because the towing company guy leaves the place most of the day. This is the shadiest management ever. There's no reason a person should come home from work and not be able to park. read more

While it looks like they are attempting to bring this complex up to standards, its just smoke and mirrors. Roaches are out of control here, pest control is completely ineffective. Trash pickup service always has an excuse not to do their job and hallways are always full of trash. It's just dirty. It's a shame. Management is a revolving door. Slow to respond. There are nicer, cleaner places. Find them! read more
