    Structural damage

Scroll down to the pictures if you want to see ClockRoaches. Where do I start? Let's touch on parking. The kind folks at Bluestone came up with the idea that we should create a large rental property and then create a parking lot that would provide roughly 70% of the residents with parking. After working for 12 hours straight and coming straight home from work only to find no parking, Being forced to park against the curb, and then having a tow truck come around like a shark at 6 o'clock in the morning towing all the vehicles. How about the constant German cockroach infestation? Because the maintenance men are more preoccupied with racing their golf carts in the parking lot, than doing any actual work. Not that I blame them, with how Bluestone treats their residents I can only imagine the bs the maintenance employees deal with. I imagine providing free or extremely discounted housing to the maintenance employees though doesn't always draw the best talent to the job. I can sit here and continue to talk about all of the problems with the molding, the trim, the water damage, the black mold in the vents that they simply paint over and do nothing to eliminate the problem, and the ClockRoaches (as we've come to call them) but a picture is worth a thousand words, and I have an entire gallery.

Stay away from this place. The property is disgusting, the building are roach infested to the point that the only real solution would be to tent them, and the management is atrocious. For context, below, is a review by my wife, with a follow up from myself, previously posted on other review sites. STAY AWAY. We have lived here for several years, and under the management of CRC Realty the past couple of years, it has become absolutely unlivable. Overcrowded, overrun with garbage, bugs, maggots, you name it. The office staff puts on a professional and efficient facade when it comes to signing new people and pretending this is a great place to live, but there is no accountability for residents parking every which way and blocking your car, or leaving their trash sitting out all weekend in the heat, causing the hallway floors to be covered with maggots. Apparently making calls or visits to the office to complain doesn't go reported or on your record, so when nothing is done and you try to follow up, they pretend they knew nothing about it. Here are a few photos from our experience, this doesn't even scratch the surface of how bad it has gotten. We are counting down the minutes until we are out of here. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere in Bluffton, there are lots of great apartment complexes that aren't (literal) garbage dumps. Husband of the woman who complained about maggots here. It's worth adding that the buildings are roach infested. We had always been aware of the problem in our building and asked for pest control periodically to try and keep it under control, but upon moving out we realized the filth we were living in was much worse than we had originally thought. Now, we're losing hundreds of dollars of electronics and other valuables that have been claimed by roaches on top of paying thousands of dollars just to break our lease so we can gtfo.

The lease states I can have two parking spots. When I got home from work the other night, my second car was gone. Turns out the property manager, Michaela Rizzo, made the call to have my car towed without giving me any notice. The car is registered to my apartment and parked legally. She said it was "deemed inoperable" because of a flat tire. Emerson Isles is unable to provide pictures of a note they say they put on the car warning me of a tow. I look at the car every day, and never saw said note. Instead of taking two minutes to call me, email me or post a sign on my door, they decided to take the lazy way out and just tow it. I am extremely disappointed for the lack of transparency they have shown and general lack of interest in the problem they have caused for me. I'm told I will not be able to speak to a manager for at least another week as she is "working from another office". I will be ending my lease and moving out in January. I do not recommend leasing from Emerson Isles or dealing with them. I still can not even find out where my car is and this will cost me a lot of money. I am getting my attorney involved.

In the end, ForeShore has NO INTENTION of giving your deposit back. They expect you to repaint every wall if you hang a picture. They also charge you for bulbs out on the microwave, which weren't out that we knew of before we moved out. They also make you pay for a full carpet cleaning which costs 500-600.00 and only their approved cleaning company to deep clean your house which also costs between 500-600. So, they get their money from your deposit and charge ridiculous amounts so you don't get it back. We paid $2795.00 and we were sent a check for $10.00. This rental company is out to make as much money as they can, and screw the renters. Please make sure to read every fine print on your lease. They do NOT CARE about anyone but their growth in revenue. Beware. And the outside "realtor" people are extremely rude and condescending. I am a 48 year old professional and have NEVER not received more than 2/3 of my deposit. So, just know that your deposit is not refundable when it comes to this money hungry company. They have a monopoly in Bluffton b/c of the demand there. Good for them. They messed with our livelihood and took our hard-earned money b/c they suck!

Avoid using this company for any and ALL of your real estate needs whether purchasing or renting…read more the management is awful. Josh Quesada is a liar and swindler. They will make things up in order to keep your deposit. Very spiteful for us not renewing our lease and purchasing a home elsewhere. Charges for nail holes from hanging maybe 6 pictures throughout the house, because they don't consider someone paying a ridiculous rent Well before the due date every single month and sometimes 2 months in advance, and hanging a few pictures as normal wear and tear. We didn't paint anything in this house but we are being charged for the touch up paint that was used before we moved it being a different texture. They go through employees left and right and will not respond to emails or phone calls. I put in several requests for work and no one would call me or respond. Eventually, Kevin contacted me and I was able to get somewhere. The others around there are miserable to deal with. Again, avoid dealing with these crooks. Edited: Kevin said he was calling me right now at around 7:30. It's now 9:20 and I haven't gotten that call.... The review is accurate and his explanations are ridiculous and invalid at best. If we can come to some sort of resolution about the charges for paint and nail holes, and charging me for yard maintenance which was done the day before inspection, and much more, then I may edit or even remove, but as of now, I dont see anything happening to resolve these issues. I never said I expect all of it back. I agreed on a couple of charges, IE diagnosis of an electrical issue, but never agreed for AIM to send a licensed electrician to change light bulbs and charging me $400. If these bills are from AIM's vendors, they should reevaluate the people they hire to do work because charging me $250 for mowing and trimming the yard is utterly ridiculous.
