Everyone here at Marsh Cove apartments is super kind and attentive, especially the front desk and…read moremaintenance team. Every time a have a slight inconvenience or a simple question, they are always quick to answer and take care of all my needs. No matter how tedious the task, or how unnecessary the question, they always answer with patience and a smile on their face. I also notice the front office lady Shay, going around the community and dropping off special info directly at our door when she could simply send out an email from the comfort of her own desk, showing how above and beyond she goes for her job. She is always serving people with a smile and a kind attitude. I have only lived at the Marsh Cove apartments for about 1.5 years and Shay was super supportive and helpful when I first moved in. When I moved here, I was moving here from Florida and had never lived in Savannah before. She helped me find things like trustworthy internet providers, how to set up my mailbox, and even good public parks for my two kids. If I had to be honest, Shay probably made my move-in process at least 10 times easier.

She told how they had a really exceptional deal at the top of my range and how a lot of people had been in to see it. We were given a tour, the room wasn't bad but it wasn't great, and the saleswoman kept finishing sentences in a way that prompted me to sign paperwork without seeing everything. I politely stopped responding to those questions about halfway through. Unlike most of the other apartments in the area (which had much better quality, at the same price) she couldn't vouch for the community because she lived somewhere else. She called out greetings to staff and residents and was ignored, probably by people who were scared of her. I was looking for the cheapest apartment in town and of the six that had available rooms, the other five were better furnished and finished, more hospitable, and for about the same price.

Yes as someone stated the apartments are not like the newer apartments but Spanish Villa apartments are better because I have a Kitchen, living room, den, 2 bathrooms, Washer and dryer hook up, 2 bedrooms , patio and a pool in the apartment community. I am not paying an outrage price. I also have great maintenance people that are quick and fast at attending to the apartment. So older is differently good because you get more for your money!!

There was mold, blinds missing, no shower head the back patio was filled with trash. We had to get A new bathroom vanity as it was moldy and had a giant hole. The sink in the kitchen was falling apart, my appliances did not work. If you live in the town home the insulation sucks. Really hot upstairs in the summer and really cold in the winter, your electric bill will be through the roof. My apartment also flooded twice, when the plumbers came out they told me, not to wash my clothes as the same time as the neighbors because the pipes were too small and their washer drained into mine. The pool is highly advertised and is very nice but my first year here it never opened. The office is always closed too. Forget emailing them, they will never reply. I emailed them my move out notice 3 months in advance and they never saw it. After my roommate moved out he got charged a late fee because the office closed early to give them his key. We were supposed to get our deposit back and they stated it was going to be"the address on our move out paperwork" which we did never filled out.I emailed multiple times and I sent them a fwding address but we never got our deposit back.

She did not respond that day, but one day after, she said she cannot do it and processing fees are non-refundable. I saw their policy that application fees are non-refundable which was $50. She said both cannot be refundable according their policy. I called the manager and she literally yelled at me. She cut off my words while I was talking to her, and yelled at me. I told her she was rude and she said she was not. She was crazy and unreasonable. She should have sent the policy through mail instead of yelling at customer. Then, after 40minus the manager called me to apologize and point out her policy sending e-mail. She also refunded the administration process fees. Overall, it went well at the end.

They have three and four bedroom homes and the master bedroom is on the first floor in the four bedroom layout. I loved the granite counters, the large kitchen peninsula with room for barstools and stainless steel Samsung appliances. The landscaping is well maintained and every yard has irrigation. The garages are huge. I was told they will have a playground, splash pad and bike racks. I also loved that I could tour by myself 12 hours a day 365 days a year.
