PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I have never had to deal with such lying scheming people in my life. I lived on the bottom floor and we had a MOLD PROBLEM AND SPIDER INFESTATION. I was never taken out of my apartment because they didn't think that my problem was that bad. So I called the Health Department and the leasing office lied saying there wasnt a problem with my apartment and sent in fake invoices to dismiss my case. My apartment building was supposed to be condemned but I moved out because my health was starting to decline and I wasn't paying another penny to these liars. They never mentioned to me that my apartment affected my neighbors as well and that their entire floor was soaked. My water heater went up and had mold all over it and they still weren't fixing the problem. They keep calling me and and emailing me asking if I was going to pay them and told me that I could stay in the inhabitable apartment. I HAVE EMAILS TO CORROBORATE WITH EVERYTHING!! Not to mention having the leasing manager yelling at me saying they weren't going to fix anything and to call my renters insurance. I did as they said and gave my renters insurance the information. I just received a call from my renters insurance saying that I was apparently lying about my situation and that once again nothing I was stuck in my apartment and getting more sick. I HAD BUGS COMING FROM THE WALLS INTO MY APARTMEN. My renters insurance said that the leasing office had NO RECOLLECTION of my heater problem but I have pictures of water heater equipment left at my house and obviously because they had to go fix my neighbors apartment they were fully aware. They kept emailing me asking if I was still in the apartment and if I had came back yet. They were going in and out of my apartment for days without letting me know and this was after they closed my mold ticket saying they completed the job. I lost everything I owned because it was covered in mold. They just sued my for breaking my lease for 11,000. I have so many voice and video recordings of this. It's so sad how they do there tenants. It's all about money. My rent was 1250 but somehow it was always around 1450 a month. I hired a mold inspector while I was living there and I had a spore count of over 78,000m. I had to go to the hospital and was diagnosed with BRONCHITIS. They never hired real contractors just the maintenance men to take out drywall. I have a voice recording of us all talking when they came to my apartment for their initial walkthrough to inspect the damage and Laquisha or whatever her name is admitted that it wasn't safe to live here and that it was neglect on behalf of the property and that they were supposed to have roofers and mold people come out the following business day. All lies all lies. Matt or Mark the head maintenance man was there as well and knew about the problem which I have on record as well. Y'all played a game that is to only benefit the owner. I couldn't believe that not one of the leasing agents had any empathy or morals to actually try to fix my problem. I would call them and they'd hang up and send me and emails. They didn't even want to talk to me. They had the nerve to say that all I would be refunded was $47 for one day of maintenance. If you think that me losing my place, losing everything I owed, being sued 11,000, medical bills, pain and suffering, depression, and relocation is worth $47 then you must really have no soul and I hope God has more mercy for than the judge. read more

BEWARE DO NOT APPLY. The leasing agents are unprofessional and rude and they do not allow you to speak with corporate and when you call corporate you are also given the runaround this it what happened to my boyfriend and I. My boyfriend and I went to look at the property after being told that there was a 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom available on February 19th for $1260. We spoke with Sharon, liked the unit and sent the applications to our email. We were told to fill out two separate applications and we did just that on Friday, Jan. 15 we were going to fill  them out on Thursday but the website was having some issues. Later on Friday Sharon called my boyfriend to tell him that he was approved and the security deposit was one month's rent and congratulated him on being approved with 'Tamira.' He let Sharon know that he was not moving with someone named Tamira; he was moving with me (my name is not Tamira).  She then proceeded to say she had to call corporate and she would call him back. She did not call him back, My boyfriend went to the office to pay the $200 deposit Sharon said she couldn't take because he had cash and he needed to go get a money order.  I called to see if I could pay with my card and to see if the issue had been resolved, she said we could not pay because we did not have the apartment yet because she made a "clinical error" and was waiting on her manager and corporate to instruct her on what to do because this was "the first time something like happened" and that "she is human."  Not once did she apologize for the mistake.  I then proceeded to try to get in contact with the property manager and the residential manager which I was told was someone named Bernard then I was told Dianne and now Judy. I called on Saturday, Jan. 16 and talked to Cher and told her the situation and to not run my application.  On Tuesday Jan. 19th a woman called by the name of Angela and said she understood that my fiancé and I were applying to an apartment that was not available. I said no that was not the case and then explained to her what happened. She said ok she would put my boyfriend and I on the application together and then call me back, this was around 11:15 a.m. I said ok please apply us to the correct apartment, the 2bedroom 1.5 bath for $1260, not whatever apartment 'Tamira' was applying to; she said ok.  I called back twice and my boyfriend called back and we were told by Cher that Angela was out of the office and would call back when she got in. She did not call me back. I called back a little after 3:00 p.m. and was told Angela left for the day. I asked that Cher check to see if my application was run and she said it was not and I told her do not run my application before Angela calls me and talks to me. She told me ok and that she would pass the information along. I have this conversation on recording.  Today Jan. 20 Sharon called and said they ran my application and I was approved and she wanted to go over the availability. I told her that I was not happy about that because I asked twice to not have my application run before they called me to sort everything out. She brushed it off and proceeded to tell me what was available. She said the property had a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath for $1405. I told her this was not ok and that she would need to speak with my boyfriend to see if he wanted to proceed and to take my name off the application all together. When he called her, he asked why we needed to pay more for an apartment when it was not our error that caused the apartment to be gone, she said her coworker leased it before we submitted our applications and beat us to the deposit.  Of course this upset me because if that was the case then why not tell us that the apartment is not available before we applied. I do not appreciate how this was handled and I do not appreciate being given the runaround and being lied to. read more

I am so disappointed by the blvd at white springs. I normally don't write reviews or complain about anything, but this one really pissed me off. I've been living in this apt complex for 3 years now going to 4. I forgot to update my home insurance documents to them which I thought I did. I had my new home insurance since last year April and it still current. I login to my app yo pay my rent and I saw they charged me extra 50 dollars (25 dollars twice) because I didn't submit the new insurance I had. I update it in the website and call them to see if they can cancel it, and the lady on the phone said she doesn't think there is anything they can do, after putting me on hold she came back and said they cannot reverse it. To be honest that's not fair, If I didn't have insurance, I can understand to be charged for not having it, but I do have my insurance and I provide them the documents. That really pissed me off and I'm reconsidering staying here for another lease. read more

I've been living here since April 2017 and so far so good. I have no complaints about my apartment. Everything was updated when I moved in with new appliances. I have a washer and dryer in my unit, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The lighting in the living room isn't the best cause of the balcony upstairs so the sunlight doesn't come in as good, but it's manageable. The only thing I can't stand which isn't anyone's fault, but I have 2 EXTREMELY NOISY neighbors!!! It's very annoying, but I just avoid them. There are so many issues with this place. My first issue was I was forced to pay a $500 security deposit 2 days prior to me moving in. They would have given my apartment away if I didn't call to confirm I was moving in in 2 days. Not to mention, I've been gone for 3 months and still have not received the deposit after sending 6 emails. Throughout my time, I had severe mice and rodent problems. I complained for 7 months and nothing was done until I threatened to move out. The staff is very polite but definitely not efficient. read more

It's not a very happy Fall day here at the blvd white springs. I've had on going plumbing issues and last night was the topping. The tech who came did his very best but the maintenance Mgr Greg didn't want him to turn the water off!! There was over 100 gallons of water pumped out of our apartment and that was just this incident. 6 hours this went on!! Not one call from the so called Mgr Greg. Finally Greg called a licensed plumber who came from DC he was in and out in just over an hour. I am beyond angry, frustrated and plain fed up with this place. You are nothing more then a rent payment to this property mgmt. I've emailed, voice-mailed, called, yelled, cussed and now I'm drained. This place is the biggest life suck I have ever dealt with. I'm sore and hurt after having to empty the shop vac that was left here, dragging it up stairs and outside because it was full and water was still pumping out from under my toilet flooding my bathroom and hallway. This place doesn't care one bit not one. Save yourself A LOT of money and aggravation don't waste your money or time here. You have been warned! read more

Maintenance dropped the ball majority 6 days ago by not fixing leak above us and now it's a friggin mess in our apartment.

Here's my list of complaints... -Nothing is really ever fixed the right way. AC was leaking into my closet & all they did was put fans on it... -You pay a garbage & pest fee in your rent, however they never send anyone out to spray or lay traps. There is a SERIOUS roach problem here. -The washer & dryers work some of the time, and when they aren't working it takes WEEKS to send someone out here to fix them. -Laundry rooms are disgusting. -Our apartment is on an actual slant. Like my dresser drawers can't stay open because were slanted. -Walls & floors are SUPER thin... if you have kids that live above you, I'm so sorry. -Grass is never cut. -Our bathroom was constantly leaking into the basement below us, they figured it was us flooding the bath. If they had just spent the money on REAL professionals to fix serious problems, they probably wouldn't have had to pay for the less experienced people they had come in several times. What can I say, you get what you pay for. -Walls are cracking The list goes on & on, and I'd like to know how the BLVD can allow their residents to live this way? Our move-in date was 6/4/2016. By 6/8/2016 we knew that we had made a huge mistake. The flooring is paper-thin. We can hear the folks above us as well as the folks below us. We complained about the AC unit for 3 months before it was repaired. The staff, Sarah Bedsaul and Mark are completely obnoxious!!!! We have been placed in a bldg. where there is drug traffic cars that have inappropriate tags on it just sits for days and days. the bldg. smells like THC constantly!!!! Very disappointed with this place. Made an appointment to take a tour on a Friday (scheduled) and when I got there (during normal business hours) no one was available to take me on a tour from leasing. A finance person (who was very nice) finally did but not after offering to show me pictures. If I wanted to look at pictures I would have never drove to visit the property and would have looked online. I was told there was a consistent high turn over of staff. This place is a joke. Been living here for 2 months and already ready to move out. If you want peace and quiet this is not the place you want to live... Cheap flooring-- you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on above you. Hallways are very dirty. Leasing office is very "forgetful." You have to remind them 2/3 times when you have an issue. For the price they are charging this place is a joke. They allow residents to have dogs the size of humans in their homes. PLEASE DON'T LIVE HERE. Management is horrible , and is always too busy to follow up with any questions you may have. There is no structure or communication with the staff. They never resolve any maintenance issues , however they will do a quick fix or the minimal amount of work to say they came out , BUT THEY WILL NEVER ACTUALLY FIX THE REAL CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM! They lie and tell you if you refer someone you will get a $500 referral check! I referred my sister my first 3 months of living there and never received anything even after they assured me a check would be coming. I felt like an ass referring her because her living experience was nothing but a nightmare for her. We both was stuck in miserable places that we didn't want to live in. Apartments are a nice size. The grounds are usually kept clean & they clean the hallways once a week. HOWEVER, the people in the rental office aren't that great. Mark is CLUELESS!!!! I should've known to run for the hills when I went to apply for the apt & somebody's personal info (drivers license & social security card) was laying on the desk. When I mentioned it, the man's info was just thrown on the floor "out of the way" while I filled out the application. I signed up for online rent payment, that was a trap! I paid my rent online & still received a notice stating that I didn't pay my rent when in reality, my online payment was placed in a different account THAT I DID NOT SET UP! The following month, I received a letter on my door saying "IS YOUR NEXT MONTHS RENT GOING TO BE LATE?" How freakin rude, when it wasn't even my fault my rent wasn't received on time?!!! The water has been cut off without notice TWICE within the last 6 months the second time for OVER 24 hours. The only response to the water being turned off was that bottled water was available in the rental office, but what happens when the rental office closed for the evening? NO WATER AT ALL! Or the week before did anyone call to have them come out. This place is horrible, the playground is awful and no place for children! Graffiti all over, & trash! Dumpers always overflowing , tipped over & just all around not a great place to live. The area around it is beatific close to 695, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Hate this place. Moved in, in June, and it was horrible from the start. Day of move in, I was told that the apartment that I was to move into wasn't ready so I had to move into another one. I wanted to move on the 3rd floor and I had to move in on the 2nd. The floors are so old that you can hear every single thing the person is doing above you. Also, I didn't have a door on my bedroom for days and my ac wasn't working! There's always trash near the dumpsters. In the building. The carpet in the buildings are old and dirty. I had to have an insect inspector come in at least twice after I saw ants and a bunch of flies everywhere. I'm a bit OCD so that was disgusting to me. The machine to put money on the laundry card seems to always me broken. I've had to go get cash on three occasions because the card option wasn't working. I ONLY thing that I like being hear is the size of the apartment and the bathroom floor is nice.‍ Cant wait until my lease is up!!! Will NOT be renewing! read more

This place is an atrocity. I have lived in this town-home for 9 years now and we still have problems that weren't fixed since the day we moved in. The railings are still shaky (after repair ), the toilets constantly are in need of repair, the laundry room constantly has a leak which sometimes causes the washing area to flood, and at least once a year we have issues in which the ceilings leak. This doesn't even touch the topic of when we call for a maintenance man, in return we receive the same little old man which tinkers a little and then deems the task "complete". It is ashamed that we have to live in these conditions considering that some months we are sent out a late rent notice on the third when the rent isn't due until the 5th. This place is a joke and I highly recommend that you consider looking elsewhere for a place of residence.Sure the location may seem nice but the property is utterly disgusting. read more

When we first moved in, we were thrilled. This was our first apartment on our own, they allowed our dog (he's a larger breed so we had some issues finding a rental that would allow him), and we received $100 off rent for a year if we moved in within two weeks of applying. If we didn't want to pay the extra money each month to have washer and dryers in our unit, there were large high efficiency dryers offered (this was a selling point they used when touring the apartments) on the first floor with easy money loading cards. How can you beat that? Unfortunately, there seems to always be a catch. Once we moved in, we were asked to put together a check list of any issues we found with the apartment (i.e, we have very large cracks in the walls, paint was all over the bathroom mirror, polyurethane still sticky and wet on our cabinets when we moved in). It took about two weeks for anyone to come out, and the only thing they did was clean the paint off of the mirror. Then came the mice. We called and it took three calls to get someone out to the apartment. Apparently, they had set up traps in the wrong apartment the first time.We still struggle with the mice, although they've filled the holes where they were coming in from - the mice have just created more. Shortly after new management came (I have no idea if this is coincidental), those really nice, large, high efficiency washers and dryers on the first floor we were so excited about, were changed out to much older, smaller washer and dryers -at a HIGHER price to use. Now, we're paying more money to do even more loads of laundry in washers and dryers that are really hard on our clothes. Here's where we really started getting upset.. We've gotten a couple pretty intense thunderstorms over the past two months. Our sliding door started leaking a solid stream of water during the first bad storm. We tried fixing it by tightening the bolts ourselves - that didn't work. Next storm comes, and the leak is just as bad. We call maintenance - it took about two weeks for someone to come look at. A few weeks go by and then our A/C unit went up. We called the morning after the air stopped working (as soon as we woke up so 8:45-9am); the operator told my boyfriend that they were sending someone out but hadn't given us a time. I called back around noon to ask for an ETA. The operator informs me that due to it only being 74 degrees outside at nine in the morning when we called - they cancelled the request to have someone come out to fix the A/C because it was not an "emergency" until it's 85 degrees outside. No one had the courtesy to call us to tell us that there's a specific emergency temperarature and we shouldn't spend the entire morning waiting around because no one will be out. However, here we are at 12 in the afternoon and it's now 83 degrees outside (the operator had to look up our zip code and was kind enough to tell me). After questioning the unit repair being canceled due to the morning temperatures, I was advised to "continue to check the weather until it goes up to 85 degrees-then call" even though it was foretasted to be 88 degrees outside that day (which he saw considering he had to look up the temperature it was outside by our zip-code). Meanwhile, our dog was pacing around the apartment panting because he was having trouble breathing due to the heat - I had to put him on the balcony with ice water in his bowl to keep him cool. My boyfriend had called back to ask about the emergency temperature considering the state of our dog - a woman apologized and said they'll have someone call us - no one did. We call back an hour and a half/two hours later once it's finally reached 85 degrees. The operator who answered the emergency maintenance line seemed to be inconvenienced by our request but agreed to send someone out. Finally, about 45 minutes later, a gentleman came out and fixed our unit. By far, the friendliest and most genuine person we had encountered the entire day. Had they just sent someone out, knowing it was going to surpass 85 degrees, earlier in the day maybe we wouldn't have felt like such an inconvenience to the company. However, what if the tenants who called had a baby, was pregnant or had a medical condition? Would they really have canceled the repair and fail to have the courtesy to tell those tenants? I went from being completely in love with our apartment and the community to feeling like just another number to them ; which I suppose we are. read more

**Beware** Management and maintenance is horrible! The assistant manager, Sarah , is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DISRESPECTFUL! She needs to find a new job because it's obvious she does not know what customer service is. The manager, Erin, is also incompetent and does not know how to run an establishment. The entire management team should be replaced. Every neighbor I ever spoke to complained about Sarah. The maintenance staff does not know how fix anything. The door to our building was hanging off the hinges every other month because it was not fixed correctly the first time. I requested to have my closet shelf fixed and after maintenance "fixed it" it fell as soon as they left. The floors are paper thin! I could hear my neighbors above me ALL DAY AND NIGHT! When you walk in my kitchen it feels like you are going to fall through the floor any minute. The fire alarm would go off at least 5 times a day EVERDAY FOR OVER 3 months. I had a leak in my bathroom from the apartment above me when they were renovating, so I called the leasing office and emergency line and could not get in contact with anyone, so water was leaking over night in my bathroom. Maintenance came the next day only to punch a whole in one of the bubbles in the ceiling to release more water. They never came back to fix the ceiling because I guess they knew I was not renewing my lease so they didn't care. I had to endure an ugly ceiling in my apartment for the remainder of my residency. If I had the option to live at the Blvd rent free I wouldn't! Please stay away. Don't let the renovations in the pictures fool you. They are cheap renovations with cheap materials and do not deserve $1500+. They did not fix any foundation problems rather they just put new materials on top of the real issues. I cannot stress enough how horrible management is here. I've lived here since December and can't wait till my lease it up. Problems since day one. Although the apartment it self is gorgeous, the staff is the biggest joke I've ever seen. Since the first day I have moved in here I have had issues. I was scheduled to move in at 2 pm. They called me at one and asked if I could move in at 6 pm instead that my apartment "wasn't ready yet". Mind you they had almost a month to get it ready from the time I signed the lease till my move in date. Once I finally got the keys I did a walk through to talk about anything I felt needed to be fixed. I gave the guy a list and he told me maintenance would be in touch. 3 months later and I still haven't heard from them. Brand new dish washer must have been dropped upon installation. Can't use it since the frame is bent. Bottom lock on front door can be unlocked with any key. Paint around drain in bathtub is all chipped away. Bathroom light is hanging off the wall. I've emailed them various times with no response. Don't feel like I should be paying for an appliance I haven't even been able to use. Speaking of appliances, if you do move in here, make sure your stove is off right away. I didn't use mine for the first few days then I went to use it and realized all the knobs were turned on but the burners weren't connected. It's a wonder the place didn't catch on fire. Also, make sure all your windows are locked when you move in. None of mine were, including the door to the deck. Besides that, the communication between staff is horrible. Worst experience I've had here yet involves my dogs. Maintenance left a note on my door saying they would be coming by to do routine maintenance. To please call them if I had any loose dogs because they can't enter my apartment if there is one. I called and left a voicemail to make them aware. They called back and said no problem we can reschedule to when I'm home to restrain him. Well I come home the next day and my dog isn't there to greet me as usual. I then realize he's been locked in my. Bedroom all day because maintenance came in anyways. I was livid that he was locked in there so I called management. They proceed to tell me that my "dog walker" locked him in there. Well I don't have a dog walker so apparently they let a stranger in my apartment to put my dog away. I don't really buy the story and even if it is true that means they let a random person in my apartment who could have either stolen stuff or scoped the place to break into later. My dog was a wreck the next few days. Paranoid jumping up at every noise he heard as if someone was coming to hurt him. Who knows what they did to him when I was told it was 5 maintenance workers that came in and my dog acts weird with people he doesn't know. In all management acted like it was somehow my fault and tried talking to me as if I were stupid. I just don't appreciate the way I was treated during the whole situation when it was a huge mess up on their part. And now, my latest issue, I paid my rent with a money order. Got a letter saying I owe X amount of dollars. I went on the website to see why and it says they only received my one money order. I had put both money orders in an envelope and sealed it in my kitchen so I know both money orders were in there. Management claims they only received the one. Now I need to pay $67 extra dollars to replace the "lost" money order because of how disorganized they are. It's a wonder anything gets accomplished in that office. I can't stress enough how I will never renew my lease here. I found the BLVD online because I am apartment hunting. The BLVD fits everything I'm looking for in an apartment so I decided to go have a tour of the apartment. The website said they were open on Sunday's 11-3 but when I went on Sunday they were closed. I went the following Sunday and they were open. I met Jeanette Wooten and I said, "oh, so you all are open on Sunday's?" she said, "we actually are not!" I said, "oh because the website says 11-3 on Sundays." She said, "appointments only." I was so turned off by her bad attitude and lack of interest but I continued to ask if I could view an apartment. She responded and said, "I'm with an applicant right now." I was so taken back by the poor customer service, that I crossed the BLVD off my list of potential apartments for me. the worst place , the staff horriable , when you moved in you will see a lot of unpleasant issue . i just moved in , every single room has problem , they left the plug outlet open , so dangerous for anybody to leave in this appt, all room sink faucet leak and rust , the sink rust and molds , they didn't even clean it before i moved in, they did't change the blind broke and full of dust , the key doesn't work , the floor uneven , the closet door broken, the kitchen fun is not working . i gave them list of all problem , they haven't fi it yet , it almost 2 weeks since i moved in , every room has problem , the management and the staff unprofessional they are very rude read more
