I got the props, took boat and the appropriate tools to the lake, Put 1st prop on, dropped in the water, tested, pulled boat, removed prop... Rinse repeat. Picked my prop. Shipped the other 2 back. Was refunded quickly. I'm VERY happy with my ACME and their customer service! I've had 4 boats in the last 20 years (90 Supra Comp, 2003 Tige 20V, Mastercraft X-7, 2005 Tige Switch). Seems like I always end up buying a prop (bigger diameter, different pitch, spare, upgrade from 3 to 4 blade etc...) I've always bought ACME, very happy!

First visit July 6: we took our spark jet ski to Spicer's because it would beep and shut off. We…read morefigured it was a sensor but weren't sure. their tech spent 6 hours diagnosing a problem and had to split the haul. Said it was spark plugs. $1100. We put it in the water and the jet ski now did not beep but now would not go faster than 32 mph. Also, they lost our oil cap and had to reorder one. Second visit July 13: they took less than an hour to diagnose a throttle sensor. This was another $400 charge. We put it in the water and issue remained the same- would not go above 32 mph which typically means it isn't firing all cylinders. Third visit July 27: when we dropped it off they claimed "this is on us". They split the haul again and claimed the connector had been bent and the fix was an engine harness for $1400. We asserted that this had to have been done by their tech on visit 1 as no one has touched that since it was manufactured. They claim it was the problem all along. Picked it up on aug. 5 the haul was still split. We got it home and we bent the connector to make it tight. The jet ski has worked perfectly since then.

As much as new toys cost now it's nice to deal with a company that appreciates your business. There is a reason they've stayed in business for so long.

After a few minute search I found Joe at Advanced Marine in MI (I'm in Mass). He happened to have exactly what I was looking for and I received a perfectly rebuilt lower unit for my motor. It only took 3 days to arrive from the day I placed my order! So happy with the price and prompt service. That was 2 years ago....Recently, my son managed to blow out the lower unit again ("I didn't hit anything" :-) ). I called Joe...and even though I was out of the warranty period...Joe took care of me. I sent him my lower unit and he gave me a great price on the repair! He'd always yell when called in the spring to schedule boat returned. The last time we used him, spring 2024, the boat was returned in exactly the condition it was given to him. It hadn't been covered, wrapped, cleaned - nothing - the entire winter. The seats are now faded, cracked, RUINED. Mind you, this isn't a new boat but it was immaculate when we got it. Mike destroyed our family pontoon. He left it out in the elements for an entire Michigan winter and it is ruined beyond repair. Insurance won't cover it, they said to sue him but we never want to see his face again. Do not trust him with your boat.
