I wanted to plan a last minute kayaking trip with my partner so we found this place in Keswick and…read moredecided to just do a walk-in. Upon arrival, it may seem like it's difficult to find parking, but once you drive past the shop, there is a lot of parking behind. We walked into the shop, and within seconds, staff greeted us. It was great and easy to know everything as there was a giant menu of all the services and water activities they provided. We asked for 2 single kayaks, and they told us there were plenty! 1 single kayak is $25/4 hours, which is an amazing price. This also includes a lifejacket and paddle. You honestly can't find this deal in Toronto. You get charged a mandatory damage deposit of $200 per kayak first, and once you return from your trip, you get your deposit back and pay the $25. The staff were very nice and the lake was great! The kayaks and paddles were super sturdy and well maintained. We went around 2pm and there were a decent amount of people, but not too packed. Later in the afternoon is when we saw it started getting pretty busy. There was a hiccup in payments at first, where the first card machine didn't work, so I used a second one. After my trip, I checked my bank and they charged me twice. They were super nice and accommodating and refunded me back the amount. I will definitely be back and rent with them again!!!

We would definitely come here again! The only thing is you gotta wait the staff for a while because they are too busy, but they extend our boat time for this, so I am really satisfied

This is the first negative review I have ever written about a company, and was hesitant to do so,…read morebut feel that it is important, so that others can avoid dealing with the same issues and terrible customer service that I have. I purchased a 2013 Chevy Equinox from Newmarket Powersports about two months ago, and was told by the salesperson that it has been fully checked over by their mechanics, passed the safety, and was in fantastic shape with no problems. In hindsight I maybe should have been a little more untrusting, but seeing as this is a dealership with a brand to uphold, I foolishly took his word for it, and decided to go through with the purchase. Within days of purchasing the vehicle the "Hood Open" sensor started going off every couple of minutes, and a loud rumbling noise could be heard from time to time when I turned on the vehicle. I took the car into a shop close to my house and they told me that the hood latch sensor needed to be replaced and the sensor had been sprayed by a sticky substance (possibly to stop the sensor from going off), but they were unable to hear the rumbling at the time. Over the following few weeks the rumbling got louder, and was consistent, so I took it back and they found that it was the air conditioner compressor assembly, which was falling apart, and needed to be replaced. At the same time, they found that the tires were completely bald, and splitting apart. The three issues combined cost me close to $2500 to fix. I understand that there is the potential for issues when purchasing a used vehicle, but with all of these issues coming up in such a short period of time, either they did not do a thorough enough check, or worse, they were aware of the issues and hid them from me. Needless to say, I was not happy, so I called to see what they could do for me, and spoke to Paul who was completely unsypmpathetic and unhelpful. All he did was tell me that I got a very good deal on the Equinox, and reviewed the small things that they fixed during the safety check and told me that the tires passed at the minimum level allowable. Finally, to add insult to injury he suggested that they would give me a deal on the tire replacement, but I left him a message with the tire information (over a week ago), and called one more time to follow up, but he didn't even have the courtesy to return my calls. Absolutely worst customer service I have received anywhere, and I would suggest that you avoid this place if you have any option at all.
