Vintage paperbacks from publishers like Ace, DAW, and Ballantine used uncoated covers. Trying to peel them off with alcohol or ever a dryer ruin the book's value and is heartbreaking for lovers of old paperbacks. It's unfortunate.

What's really cool about the place is that they not only have the regular used books selection, they also have a good handful of vintage, pulp fiction type paperbacks from the '50s and earlier. They also have a good selection of First Editions that they keep under lock and key and go for some serious bucks. Of course, being in a WV tourist destination, they also have a little area for locally made soaps and lotions and the like. Not a lot. Just enough to make a couple more bucks.
