I never went to this location while at WVU even though I frequented the Kroger many a times. So this Book Exchange location? It blows. I'm an adult that has a job (and I like to think I look like it) however the employees there made me feel like a criminal when I was in there. There was staff all around the store on a Sunday morning watches us like hawks. It was very off-putting and uncomfortable, it didn't make me want to look at anything in the store. Gotta get your WVU gear! A trip into Morgantown isn't complete without coming here! We always go here every trip and pick up a new hat, shirt, or something else. This year I got a retractable lanyard clip for my work badge. This place existed when I went to college at WVU and it's great that it is still the place to go for Mountaineer attire. read more

I placed an order for a T-shirt on December 7th and not only did they not still have my item sent by December 18th, when I called they had a teenager that sounded like she was 15 try to resolve my problem. On top of that, once another lady came on the line to try to resolve my issue, she was rude and STILL didn't resolve my shipping issue. I asked for a total refund and hung up. I was shopping at this store last weekend and had asked to use the dressing room to try on some items. When I was done I returned the items I wasn't getting along with the hangers of the items I was purchasing. After purchasing 7 items one of the sales associates accused me of stealing items bc they had hangers whose items were unaccounted for. I've worked in retail and was always taught you NEVER accuse a paying customer for stealing unless you have solid proof. I told the sales associate that I had left some items I decided I didn't want on a counter nearby and when she still did not believe me I opened my purse up and told her to search it. After not finding anything she kept making excuses that she had to do that. It was embarrassing and uncalled for that a paying customer with a career and not some unemployed college student would be subject to such disrespect and be targeted like that. This store has permanently lost my business for good! I no longer live in WV and so it's hard for me to get WVU gear and that is why I was in that store trying on and purchasing so many items to stock up bc it might be a year or two before I have the chance to go back to Morgantown. After feeling so disrespected I called the store later on in the day to talk to the manager about the situation. His response was that he remembered the incident and that he supported the action of the associate but maybe could of been handled differently that's all I got I was infuriated. Poorest Service and prices of any book or clothing store in morgantown. Was given a hoodie as a gift for christmas. Attempted to return it twice. First time noone in the store was competent enough to handle a return. Tried a second time. Walked into the store in the pouring rain and apperently the rain on the hoodie permenantly destroyed the hoodie, which had been in the bag it was purchased in. The manager would not take the hoodie as it had water on it. I have also had numerous problems ordering books from this store. This store is clearly out to make profit alone and does not care about customers. Avoid this store. read more

The store was decent but the service was AWFUL! I bought a book from them because their website said i needed it for my class. When i got to the first day of class my professor told us we didn't need the book. When i went back 3 days into classes (10 days after i bought the books) the manager told me they have a "7 day return policy". The book was brand new and never opened yet he wouldn't take the book back. This store doesn't work with the costumer at all and I would HIGHLY recommend to STAY CLEAR. The WVU book store prices are about the same but the service is MUCH better. Amazon is the best place to buy books however. read more
