It was founded by a courier who lived modestly and loved books. He collected books to preserve history, with books from all around the world.

It was exceptionally difficult to find since all of the poetry books were under the "westerns" section. I had to wait quite a while for someone at the customer service desk, but the gentleman that showed up was super helpful. There's a cafe that sells Starbucks products (but they don't take Starbucks gift cards). The children's section is actually quite large and extensive. I tend to frequent smaller, locally owned bookstores, but I sometimes enjoy spending my time and dollars at a B&N.

I loved the vinyl section, the horror selection, and the large graphic novel area. They also had some unique art books on display that I had not seen anywhere else. At one point I was looking for a specific title and the employee was able to help me find it. When checking out I learned they had been here for 13 years and the first shop is located in Manchester, Vermont. I was given a 10% off coupon and told about their online shop. My only complaint is that the romance section was surprisingly small; I feel like BookTok has really helped that genre take off so seeing just two shelves of romance was disappointing. But the sci-fi/fantasy section is great, and with an entire level dedicated to children's books I can see it being a hit for families too. They also have discounted books labeled with the "Great Price" sticker which was nice to stumble upon; everyone loves a good deal!

I picked out two hardcovers novels but did not use the sitting area to read. To my surprise there was a holiday special and my total cost was $5. Unbelievable for books with no signs of wear or tear. I overheard the two female employees discussing an author with a customer who was paying for her books. I imagine the employees are helpful with any literary questions you may have. I will definitely return.
