The auction is done on-line and the pictures and descriptions are very well done. They will auction anything, from real estate to cleaning supplies.They DO NOT try to pass off a knock off as the real thing. I have gotten to know the people who work for the firm and they are exceptionally professional and super personable. They are available via phone to give you advice and information during the auctions, which seem to last for a few days to a few weeks. The day of pick up, goes very smoothly as you schedule a time to arrive and an employee with go with you to identify the item(s) you purchased and help you pack them.. I learned to take towels or othe wrapping materials and laundry baskets or boxes with me depending on what I couldn't live without. Recently they had an auction in the Town and Country section of Winston Salem The estate was so extensive that they had to do it in two parts. The estate had an extensive collection of china, crystal and antiques. My wife has a collection of Waterford Crystal Lismore pattern. I won some items and paid a fraction of the price had I purchased them retail. At a previous auction I bought toys for my car obsessed grandson. Who I havpicked up the items it appears that there is a equal mix of flea market vendors, collectors, and amateurs like me. Currently, they have several auctions under way including real estate. Since they have date-based reductions on their inventory, it's worth visiting regularly, and as it is located conveniently near other shops, Tractor Supply and the post office (and, a nice little Mexican restaurant up front), it's easy to park, and hit multiple locations. My BF finds stuff for himself and his grandson EVERY TIME...always has at least 2-4 items in his hand. I look for the extreme bargains (got an almost new pair of women's Nikes for only $8!) Kenny went above and beyond when working with me. He was polite, professional, and very friendly. Very knowledgeable about the products in the store, was happy to answer my questions, and made the overall experience very positive. I did have to make a return trip (two actually) because the pre-owned Switch I bought was giving me problems...but, each time I went back, Kenny was working and he was extremely friendly every time. Honestly, working with him improved my day, because I was having a hard one. His professional and cheerful attitude changed mine! About the store...this has got to be the cleanest GS store I have ever seen. I even remarked to Kenny when I was there, that the GS store is the first that I have walked in that didn't smell like a locker room or was dirty. I was very impressed with how clean the store is, how organized and neat it is. I will admit, in the past I would buy flowers using online suppliers. Despite the promo codes, most of these online providers are no more cheaper than ordering local, once they add on all of their fees. I have also used grocery stores for flowers due to the attractive prices but I have found they don't last as long. Davie Florist is a locally owned place. The building isn't much to look at but their flower quality is really good. Prices are fair, though higher than a grocery store. What you get is personalized service and a much better product. Cards and cash accepted. Highly recommend.

Based on our brief phone call, he was able to customize the arrangement in a way that perfectly captured the spirit of the event and our loved one, and coordinated with the other arrangements beautifully. The other side of their shop is full of all kinds of trinkets, jewelry, home decor, soaps, etc. You really could come in and find a little something for anyone; yourself or a loved one.
