When I got there 2 weeks after it expired, she was extremely rude right off the bat saying she said yes to extending but thought she'd hear from me sooner to which I apologized and said I got caught up in the holidays. She was outright rude to the point I was uncomfortable staying and even offered to pay her but skip the service. She told me let's go ahead but she has an apt right after and because I was a few min late she wouldn't have a lot of time. My apt was set at 12:30, I arrived at 12:35 and apologized profusely but I had issues finding her and my phone died. This was supposed to be one hour and I fully expected it to be less due to me being late but it was literally 1 when I left meaning my facial was about 20 min; not sure why she even bothered at that point. I was happy to leave because I was uncomfortable anyway. My face was bright red when leaving and she also made a few pokes at my dermatologist and suggested I have a liver disease by my face which didn't make me feel too great. I realize everyone has bad days but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business EDIT: in response to her response below just so nobody is fooled, the facial gift certificate was 100% a 60 min certificate. I got it for my bday from a friend. That's just a blatant lie and speaks volumes about the ethics of this woman. She is correct that I did offer to pay and leave literally because i was terrified of being alone in the room with her. Every time I've had a facial it's been in the same room, but the head spa happened to be in a different one. Is wired in the rooms but I like chatting with the aesthetician, and even with the language barrier we end up having great conversations! They tell me what each step is during the service and why it's important, and even ask about stressors like work or lack of sleep during every appointment to adjust the treatment as needed. Recently after my facial I complained admit my scalp and they mentioned they offer a head spa service, which I booked for the next day. My hair and scalloped have never felt so clean! Lindsay is located in the salon suites off Alpha rd. in Dallas. When you first walk into her suite the calm and beautiful decor let's you know you're in for a great experience. The room is tucked away in the back of the salon suites in the "quiet zone" so you have a lot of quiet and privacy. Her room is classy with bold mirrors, gorgeous teal and gray decor, and calming accent colors. At first thought you think her salon is an interior design studio!
