Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the calming aromatic scents, the clean and inviting ambiance, and the sweet receptionist, Misha. Misha was polite, friendly, and very informative, which made for a great first impression. In the treatment room, I was given clear instructions on how everything would work. I started with the Hydro-Vichy shower--such an interesting and unique experience! It's a warm shower with at least five shower heads providing firm pressure over your entire body (except your face). The treatment began with a full-body cleanse, followed by a gentle exfoliation, and ended with a refreshing rinse. Afterward, I received a massage from Lynn, and wow, she truly worked magic! We are visiting the area for a brief trip and decided to call and make an appointment for the couple massage. We did the 90" deep tissue and I had Kim. She was great and the massage was pretty fluid and smooth. I have really bad knots in my shoulder and upper back area and she was tackling them. It felt amazing. At first it was gentle but I request for more pressure and that did the trick. Only issue was some area felt like a rope burn due to lack of oil at times. This would be my 2nd time visiting this location for a Felix signature combo I which included the following: 30 min reflexology with aromatherapy foot spa and beverage (tea or wine) + 60 min choice of body massage (deep tissue)= 90 minutes $115 The location is easy to find. The space is small but with their scheduling, it seems they are able to get clients in and out in a timely manner. They have a very friendly staff and the environment is relaxing and clean. The perk they provide is a complimentary beverage. Robes are given to those from what I'm assuming use the services that require Vichy shower/body wash *I wish they had a lounging area for clients to either relax before or after. However, this location has only a seating area but after walking around the suite, it is a very small space.* My first experience was awesome. I had never had a foot massage and after this package, I was convinced I'll have to include it again on my next spa day. The therapist was great that day as well. The entire day I was relaxed and even carried this freedom from stress for the rest of the week. In my 2nd experience, I was let down just because I had a different set of therapists. I didn't have the same walking out experience as my first. With their online booking, you are not able to choose your therapist but silly me did not think of utilizing the comment section. The scheduler explained that even though the online booking does not allow you to select a name you are more than welcome to add it to the comment section or in my case ask them to book you with your previous therapist since they do keep a record of it for you in case you weren't able to get that information. The receptionist working here is awful. She is unknowledgeable and gives horrible Customer Service. This place advertises a 20% discount off of a Swedish Massage when booking with one specific male therapist on their website. The website states that the offer is valid and to call directly to make the booking and to receive the 20% discount. When I called, she said that the 20% discount is "not true" and that she is unwilling to honor what is on their website. I asked kindly for a one time exception since they are promoting the 20% discount and she said she would not do it. This receptionist could have done the right thing to earn my business and honored what she is promoting on the Company website, the 20% discount. Instead, I was met with a hard "no" with no exceptions. My recommendation would be for this receptionist to take a basic online or instructor led course on Customer Service and for her to learn more about earning a Customer's business. Promoting an offer on a website and then not honoring the offer is more than enough reason to report the Spa to the Better Business Bureau. After all, I have many other spa's to choose from in the area. My recommendation would be to go to Massage Envy and/or Hand and Stone Massage where they care about their clients. At the end of the day, she lost a customer for life and her little cash register will ring up $130 less money that it could have today. And, the therapist that is offering the discount has 8+ time slots available today (almost no bookings). So instead, he is sitting not earning any money when he could have earned $130 today. My girlfriend just left here in tears, on our anniversary. She didn't know to put on the clothing they give you for a Vischy Shower, so she had to be fully naked with a person she didn't know giving her a shower. Next, they kicked us out of our room so other people could be let in, they moved her clothes,phone and shoes to the front of the store at the waiting area. After she was done with her facial they made her walk OUT OF THE ROOM with only a towel in front of everyone. Go to the waiting area, grab her clothes from the floor and go back to a room to change. She also walked into a random person getting a massage in the room we were supposed to be in since they didn't tell her anything. She's been crying since she left and even now can't stop. This broke her, and when we told the front desk about it she said "oh it's okay they don't mind" with a huge smile on her face. Like she didn't just realize how bad the situation was. I had so much tension in my right side from a work injury and she was able to work through it all even without me mentioning anything. This is especially concerning as I just was discharged from the hospital less than 48 hours earlier. If any staff member or guest has any of the Covid-19 symptoms they will not be permitted to enter the building." A recent discovery - Felax Spa. An easy and very professional reservation process. I booked a 90 minute Swedish massage. I needed something relaxing, no deep tissue, no Thai stretches, no elbows in the back. The spa was very clean, very Zen like, relaxing, quiet....very welcoming and a professional front desk. My therapist was named Summer and I knew instantly she was an excellent therapist. After 40 years of massages I have come to recognize therapists that are serious about their trade and those that just go through the motions. Summer is one of the best I have ever had. We had a sugar scrub done that made our skin feel so smooth and we were so relaxed through the whole experience. You're provided disposable swimwear as well. The whole experience redefined spa. The relaxation from the Vichy shower set us up for an amazing massage where we both fell asleep which has never happened before. I was on a business trip in Dallas when I got a horrific stiff neck and couldn't move. I was in excruciating pain and desperate, so I called his massage parlor (sounds dirty, but it wasn't lol) and hey we're able to get me in an hour later. It happened to be a 2 minute walk from my hotel, which was amazing. My stars were aligned! When I got there, the receptionist could see how much pain I was in and did everything she could to make me comfortable while I waited. I didn't catch her name but I immensely appreciate her help! I'd give 5 stars based on her alone! My massage therapist, however, was a different story. She didn't speak much English but I explained to her to the best of my ability what was going on. She kept trying to rub my legs and arms and I kept having to direct her back to my neck and upper back, as this was the area I needed worked on. I wasn't there for a relaxing spa day, I had issues that needed to be worked out! Whenever she would try to turn my head / move my neck I would scream out in agony and she would giggle. I honest-to-God think she found humor in this. I do not believe she had any specialized training or knew about the different muscle groups. Her massage was all over the place. She didn't duplicate on one side that she did on the other, she didn't isolate or target any muscles or pressure points, and she just rubbed hard. My experience with Massage Felax was not great at all. I called and made a couple's massage in the same room, appointment 2 days prior to today for our anniversary. The appointment was confirmed, and I had to pay a deposit in order to book the massage. I paid $85.00 deposit. We show up 15 minutes before our appointment, the place is loud inside, lots of people waiting. The desk clerks both let me know they do not have a room available for the couple massage, the people who came in before us didn't want to split up and they made an appointment today and arrived before us. We spoke for several minutes, and they basically told me they made an online appointment and they can't honor my appointment from two days because the system doesn't know the availability. It was unbelievable we drove 20 minutes to get there and they have no room. When I asked when the other appointment was they started 15 minutes before we arrived. It was not handled well and the clerks at the desk really had nothing to say but sorry. I would WARN against booking and thinking they have a couples room apparently it is first come first server for the rooms. That is literally what the clerks said to me they arrived before you so they go to choose. WOW! After more of a hassle and the clerks trying to get us to reschedule I finally got my deposit back after a long drawn out conversation. I am not able to make a review on the actual service because they could not honor our appointment. Also, the place was very noisy in the waiting area there were at least 10 people waiting. I still can't believe they would not honor an appointment time and wanted me to reschedule with them. How would I know if when we drove back if they would have the room then for the couples massage. I went in today and asked for a 60 min massage and my therapist did not massage my legs or feet. It makes me feel really sad/ neglected and uncomfortable that I wasn't given the service that should come with an $85 massage. I work so hard and really needed the relief of a good massage and she just skipped that part for some reason. This is a great place for relaxing!! They have different options for foot massages and full body massages. My friend and I did the deluxe foot massage. It was about $55 for an hour and included a foot bath, gentle scrub, essential oils, foot massage and a 15min hand massage. It was definitely money well spent!!! The lady who did my massage was wonderful!!! She was strong and pushed just the right amount so that it didn't hurt and felt wonderful!!! She took her time and made sure each toe and finger got some attention!! My friend said the same thing about the lady who did her massages. This place clearly hires people who are well trained and do an excellent job!! The ambiance is very tranquil and relaxing, the massage chairs recline all the way back, and are so comfortable!!!!
