As a potential client, I don't think it's unreasonable to want basic information before committing money to a consultation. I repeatedly tried to get answers to my questions so I could determine whether their services were a good fit and within my budget. Unfortunately, I never received the information I was asking for. What made the experience even more frustrating was that once it became clear I wasn't ready to pay the deposit without additional information, communication essentially stopped. Rather than addressing my concerns or answering my questions, I was ghosted. The entire interaction felt more focused on securing a deposit than helping a potential customer make an informed decision. Maybe their services are great, but based on my experience, customer communication and transparency during the inquiry process were disappointing.

Is wired in the rooms but I like chatting with the aesthetician, and even with the language barrier we end up having great conversations! They tell me what each step is during the service and why it's important, and even ask about stressors like work or lack of sleep during every appointment to adjust the treatment as needed. Honey was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to educate me about my nails and explain the different services they offer, which I genuinely appreciated. My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

This is so they are able to charge if you are late or a no show. I was told by them that they expect clients to be accountable as they are, so I went along with it because I understood. They will charge me if I am late but give 15% off if they are late as well. First appt was ok but they were late. I had to wait about 15 or 20 min. The appt for hard gel I had took 3 hours! Yet I was ok. I was trusting them and the process. I made my next 2 appts at that time. The second visit took just as long if not longer. I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!

I have been to Melissa twice for Brazilian sugaring, and both experiences were wonderful! Before I arrived for my first appointment, Mel texted me to confirm my appointment and say that she looked forward to meeting me. The establishment is very clean, and the overall atmosphere of the spa is peaceful and relaxing. Mel does a great job of making you feel comfortable in a somewhat awkward situation, and she is the best technician I have been to for sugaring. Had a facial with Mirabel for the first time this week. I should've realized I felt anxious about…read morethe situation from the jump but the red flags kept coming: - I am a new client and Mirabel didn't introduce herself or explain to me how to get ready for the facial. She excused herself to let me get into a towel wrap, which I've never had to undress for a facial, so I wasn't sure what she wanted at first, but I just made some assumptions. - once the facial starts, she doesn't ask me any questions about my skin: not what my skincare routine was what my concerns were why I was in for a facial if I had any recent exfoliation or procedures any allergies?!?! not anything - she uses a regular towel and towelettes on my face. since she is, i assume, an experienced masseuse, her pressure on my face with a rough towel is actually pretty grating; it felt very rough and hard on my skin. - she didn't walk me through any of the procedures or products. I still could not tell you what she used or what she did. - she started on extractions I believe with just her gloved nails. she used very hard pressure, which i'm used to from my own picking at my skin and I know is bad for my skin. For many people, it would've been way too hard and aggressive. I actually have cuts on my face the next day from it. If i wanted to destroy my skin from picking, I could've done it for free at home - her products are very fragranced and actually did start to irritate my skin during the facial. U mentioned the burning and she wiped my face with clean water but it did not subside much and continued after I left TLDR: very abrasive facial that left my skin dull, irritated, cut up, and worse than when I went in. would not recommend. She did provide a massage during the experience and it was very good, I would return only for massage service.
