This review is for Mel's lash extension service. It's been two weeks since my visit. Since my visit, I've only seen about 7 of my lashes fall. Usually I have more missing, as my lashes are thin. Mascara almost always makes them wither. They are still looking lashy until now. I'm enjoying the natural appearance. She mixed up the lengths to make it like so. I found Mel on Yelp. It was easy to get a hold of her. The spa services are broken down and there's a link to email her. She got back to me within a couple days. We exchanged cell numbers and there was no lack in communication. I'd actually booked an appointment before even settling into our new home state. She's very organized. Her follow up prior to my appointment was timely. The reminder received on the morning of the appointment was excellent. Mel has a very warm and friendly personality. First let me say I absolutely love Mel. She rocks I went for a wax it being my first time I was extremely nervous. She assured me that once I had that one done the next wouldn't be so bad she was correct. Mel helped me relax, she talked to me while doing it we laughed and talked some more before I knew it I was done and felt like a new woman. I found Mel on Yelp while researching someone to give me my first sugaring experience. She was super quick to respond and easy to talk to and flexible in making an appointment. Seeing as this was my first time I was super nervous. She did a great job talking me through it and making me comfortable. Update to my review : I'm glad I went back to get my eyelashes done again. They came out great! Melissa was very kind and apologized for the oversight. Service was great ! Definitely returning for additional services . I went in for lash extensions and was pleased with how they looked . The service that day was good . When I arrived for my 2nd scheduled appointment, the shop was closed and the owner Melissa didn't recall scheduling my appointment . After a few hours she apologized for not showing up but did offer to see me asap. read more

After years of shaving I figured why not try out the Brazilan (Sugar) since reading the reviews on here while looking at a place near by. I was very impressed, I walked in without a appt asking Mel was there anyway to squeeze me in today since I was leaving for vacation tomorrow. She informed me she was booked but asked me would I be able to come back in a couple of hours. Mel made me feel extremely comfortable considering this was my first time. I will definitely be back. I went to see Melissa to get my first Brazilian Wax ever. Besides me being a big wuss, it was a great experience. The establishment is clean and welcoming. Definitely lives up to the Spa expectations. Melissa is extremely professional and did I mention FAST? From the time she started to the time I was walking out the door it was 15 minutes flat. Just another update on the wonderful Melissa and Taffy for the other services I've had done. 1) Melissa is my go-to Brazilian wax girl. Granted that I am 7.5 months pregnant and still getting a full wax is daunting on its own, I can count on Mel to make sure the process goes as quickly as possible and to give me a break whenever I need it. What she actually does is sugaring which I never had before but it's a little less shocking than hard wax they would traditionally use. I'm not usually this sensitive (before pregnancy, I could take the hard wax like a champ) so I'm sure when all the blood flow goes back to normal, I can fully tell the actual pain difference. If it's your first time, exfoliate a day before and pop two Tylenol about an hour before to help with the pain. 2) I got a prenatal massage with Taffy and I still need to schedule my third trimester one. She follows your lead if you'd like to talk or just stay quiet and relax. Her hands are magic. read more
