I have had nothing but horrible problems with accountants for years. 2 complete nightmares. So I decided to try an old established firm that never took the time to advise me . One committed fraud in my name and another who moved without telling me without informing me or giving me any forwarding information while in possession of some very important papers. The last firm never advised me on how to lower my tax liability. Instead, they informed me to pay the IRS out of my retirement! Thank GOD for Peter! After an extensive search, I decided to take a chance on Peter and The Bookkeeper Co. I have now had a chance to evaluate how he works and I can't tell you enough how pleasantly shocked I was at how much pride he takes in his work. That is EXTREMELY important to me. Honestly, Peter did what I thought was impossible. After our first year of starting our company and switching software halfway through the year, we were in accounting trouble. Our books were a disaster. I had paid another bookkeeper to help us with our books months before but had no luck. I was hesitant to go for it again, and honestly a little traumatized. Peter was so determined that he could untangle the mess that we were in and he did. I was worried that because he is based outside of LA, that we would have trouble arranging a time to talk, but he was very flexible and would respond very quickly whenever I asked a question. He is very knowledgeable and beyond that, he will do what it takes to get you there. He was always transparent about costs, which I appreciate as we are a small business and have to work on a budget . He is extremely professional and knowlegable.
