    Birthday people!

Today I went to 12pm CHURCH at the Boom in OKC! Service was prompt and getting there about 45 minutes before the show gave us great seats. We pre-purchased our tickets. The entertainment was hilarious~ you gotta have a sense of humor and be prepared to participate! The food was great. We had the breakfast burrito, great single portion size, but we split it and also got the French toast to split. The atmosphere was welcoming and just like any local dinner theater I've been to with the vibe of a club like atmosphere that it turns into! Highly suggest going to the Boom anytime. They do tons of activities and events! I love visiting here every time in OKC. Great for large groups or even couples. All are welcome!

    Great drag show

Went to Gospel Drag Brunch and it was amazing: great show, good food, friendly crowd. The seats vey crammed in but that's be price we pay for a funny and dazzling show. Wish they'd refill water 1/2 way through, so crowded we could not order more drinks. Other than that, a good time! Would totally return!

Four stars for the overall experience and 3 stars for the food. The entertainers, servers and bartenders were great. If you are a straight male and look mildly uncomfortable in that type of atmosphere, they are HIGHLY likely to make you a part of the show; being in the aforementioned category, I was incorporated into various parts of the show, it was embarrassing since I'm a bit of an introvert but I had an awesome time. The food was bad and overpriced for what it is, period. If you're a foodie and want to avoid average/subpar food whenever possible, then skip grabbing a bite here and stick to the drinks.

My friend and I went to the live Rocky Horror Show at The Boom and had a good time. The show was great! The actors were really entertaining, and the interaction with the audience was fun! The service was friendly but slow (it was a packed house, so they were working really hard). The drinks were really weak for $12. The food was exceptionally bland. I made the mistake of getting the pasta - just doused in butter and flavorless. The chicken and meatloaf meals other guests got looked good. I would definitely return for the entertainment but not for the food.

Those who we're celebrating their birthdays

I had a ball with my mom and cousin who were celebrating their birthday. I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. We had so much fun! The food was not outstanding but good for the price and it came out super quick. The jokes were funny and we laughed the whole entire show. I loved the hosts!!

Absolutely entertaining! I have come her twinge in the past five years and I can say a Sunday spent well with much uncomfortable humor sprinkled with gay fairy dust. The space is small and they do fit a lot of people in but have perfected the art of crowdedness balance. We were serviced (no pun intended) quickly, efficiently and friendly. The food was definitely well thought out. My meal was delicious and satisfying. I am NOT a potatoes girl for breakfast YET whatever potato concoction they served was protons of the best I have ever had for breakfast. Overall as far as service, food, drink and entertainment this place served all above expectations.

We started planning our night to see Golden Girls about a month ago and it was so worth the wait! The only downside to our evening was that they messed up our reservation for 9. Thankfully, we were early enough that we were able to remedy the situation. From there, it was pretty darn good! Our server was excellent. He was accommodating and friendly. The food was mostly good and would be great with just a few tweaks. The margaritas were tasty. The show was EXCELLENT! I laughed so many times and so hard! The actors, especially Dorothy, were fantastic! I look forward to checking out Gospel Brunch and other shows in the future. One of the most fun events I've attended that's an Oklahoma original.

The security guard even admitted WE WEREN'T BANNED, but were being REMOVED BECAUSE THOSE MEN COMPLAINED.. This establishment clearly prioritizes the comfort of rude patrons over the safety and respect of others, especially during PRIDE which is meant for CELEBRATION and INCLUSIVITY. The physical contact from both a customer and security was very weird and a serious concern. ESPECIALLY being with two fun size girls who aren't even 5'5... She thought he meant the actual outdoors park (centrally located, known for anonymous hookups - you know what I'm talking about). I'm sure a tearful monologue of 'why would you do that when your daddy and I have been so accepting' followed, and rightly so. Once my brother got her to chill the eff out, he got her to understand he meant The Park, reputable staple of the gay club scene. While they've changed a lot over the years, they remain a club where gay men reign supreme but (cool) straights are welcome. They have been an integral part of making our annual pride weekend the amazing wonderfulness that it is today. We went there this weekend when my brother and his husband were in town, and while we were bummed to learn they don't have dancers right now, they still had good drinks, nice bartenders, clean potties and great dance music. Needless to say, momma was relived all those years ago to know her baby was just out, having a fun time, meeting nice people. Since our dad offered to pick us up on Saturday night, I think it's safe to say we're all still thankful for a place like The Park where it's okay to just be yourself. xo

When my boyfriend and I walked in, we both had Red Bulls in our hands. Immediately, a staff member told my boyfriend "no outside drinks." He reacted by making a whiny noise and taking one last sip before attempting to throw it away, but before he could, she grabbed the can while he was drinking, crushed it into his face, and threw it away. It was aggressive and completely unnecessary. What made it worse is that nothing was said to me about my drink, even though I was holding the same thing and walked right past her. After trying to brush it off, my boyfriend went to order a drink, and the same staff member continued to pester him, repeatedly asking if he had "learned manners" as he attempted to ignore her.At that point, it just felt hostile and unprofessional. I approached her and asked how she could demand respect when she hadn't shown any. I understand rules like no outside drinks, but there is a respectful and professional way to enforce them.
