I have been coming to the Smithtown for quite some time now to purchase vapes for myself and my…read morefamily members. I also go to the East Setauket store, which is where I work. Last week I came in to purchase a vape. I clearly stated that I wanted an air bar. The vape that I was given to me was not the correct one. It wasn't even the right brand. I immediately brought it back to the store, which is only two blocks from my home. I was told by the employee that the next time I come back to the store for that particular vape, he would swap it out for me as defective and give me the correct one. When I went to the store, a few days later, the owner was there. He was very rude and basically called me a liar, and told me that the employee said nothing to him about this, and that that employee was out of the country for two months. He gave me a five dollar discount on the vape. He thinks that this is sufficient when I spend several hundred dollars in his two stores a month. I think it is very poor customer service. He was completely willing to lose me as a customer over $13. He claimed there was nothing he could do even though he owns the store. Hope he's happy losing me and all my family members as customers. Nice trade for several hundred dollars opposed to $13 to make his employee's mistake, right.

I had tried others with limited selections or they were just way too small. Matador was really nice. First off there is ample parking. A sizable humidor with slightly higher prices but as a B&M I get it. There are tons of seats. I showed up 30 minutes into a NFL playoff game and there still were a couple of seats. There are a bunch of guys that are members but as a non-member felt welcome. Wasn't like they didn't want you there. Tons of TV's but there are always guys there with Ipad's or laptops watching other things. The last time there was a hostess. She would get you water, soda, hot chocolate. Another nice thing about the lounge is you can bring in food. In the shopping center is a really good pizza place next door, Jersey Mike's, Sushi, Halal Food and a Duck Donut's. If I have anything negative is as a non-member it would be nice to be able to bring liquor in without paying. I don't mind having soda or coffee but I like bourbon or rye and those are expensive. They charge a $10 fee. All of a sudden it's starts getting expensive. But obviously if you become a member you don't pay which is what they are trying for. If in the area and in the mood for a good stick and relaxation I definitely recommend.
