I recently was told about a 40% off sale of bolt fabric and ran down on a Sunday to fall in love with aisle after aisle of amazing choices. I found the stock very well organized by color - and then for instance all the silk choices were organized in a separate section. Easy to locate and view the selections. And the discount bins filled with yards of high quality fabrics for $10!! Your head will spin with all the creations your imagination will take off with while you aret here. One of my best friends I discovered has all her suits made from the suiting fabrics available here. Talk about keeping a great find secret..... My highest recommendation for fabrics. (Also I met some costume designers there on my visit who were purchasing the amazing faux fur fabrics. They too said the prices were the best.) Go and enjoy for yourself!

The owner's son has so much knowledge on everything. And the fact that he takes the time to explain each and every car and accommodate what you are looking for so easily is the best ever. My son loves his r/c car and in all honesty, I will be going to get one of the same for myself very soon! The one he sold me was and is by far an amazing 4x4. His father rewired my son's car so it can use any type of battery either in that plug which is pretty much majority of the batteries for LiPo. I am very pleased with their customer service

Blue Skies Pottery has been on my radar for a while. I no longer live in Hoboken, but still really wanted to try my hand at their wheel course! For 2 hours, you get to done an apron, and learn from one of their very kind and patient instructors. We first made a bowl but mine somehow did not make it to the actual bowl stage. I was encouraged by the intructor saying that going too far is what pottery is all about. Why play it safe when you can just mush it back into a big ball and start over. So try 2 was for a vase! Sure it's short and swirly and imperfect but I personally love it and it now holds all of my make up brushes proudly. Their beginners course is $75 for a two hour lesson. You can choose to fire your piece or pieces for an additional $15 a piece. So really the wonky vase you think looks silly is actually a $90 ceramic masterpiece... You pick them up a month later and marvel at the fact that this was just a blob of clay 30 days prior. I'm now soooo excited to try one of the 6 week courses and get better and better, but really just mostly love the idea of working with my hands uninterrupted each week. Each class holds a maximum of 8 people (please don't be late). This was always something I wanted to do ever since I saw the film, Ghost. Sue makes it a point to know everyone's name from the start but she gave me a special one...mom, because I came with my 21 year old son. Lol. She kept the entire class laughing throughout by getting to know each of us personally. I really enjoyed the group we were with. I already knew that I wanted to make a bowl so I can display it in my home. I wound up with a little dish instead. On my 2nd attempt I was like okay, you got this, you can make a bowl. I must have put too much pressure on the clay while going too fast on the pedal. Sue shouts out...look at mom go, she made another good looking plate. I guess I can use it as a jewelry dish. The pieces need time to dry. Choose the colors you want on the wall and they will glaze it for you. You pick up the finished pieces in 4 weeks. Please check out their website for prices. This was an introduction session but they also have weekly classes. I thought it was so sweet of Sue to ask if I had fun. I replied...I sure did because YOU made it fun for all of us!!! I highly recommend this activity if you've never done it before. I found it very therapeutic. You will also have the softest skin ever after you wash the clay off your hands. I had a blast. This place is located in Hoboken, NJ, hometown of Frank Sinatra. It's full of tree lined streets, cafes, and amazing restaurants. So come make a day out of it.

I dropped off film to be developed into prints on a Friday afternoon around noon and was told I…read morecould pick up the prints Tuesday or Wednesday. I arrived Wednesday evening to pick the prints and was told scornfully "I told you Thursday or Friday" . The man was not only wrong but very combative in his tone and language. I can understand if the prints were not made by the set pickup date but I can not understand the need to act defensively and the attempt to shift blame onto me, the paying client. The man told me I could come back Thursday and I asked if he was positive and he confirmed. He said he would text me when they were done and I left. I walked in Thursday afternoon and the man said "you're here to pick up the prints aren't you, I told you Thursday or Friday and that I would text you". He wasn't apologetic he was annoyed. I countered he confirmed they would be ready Thursday and he became even more argumentative and dismissive. Regardless of the pick up times that were argued, this is extremely poor customer service. I paid in advance for a service which was not rendered in the agreed upon timeframe and instead of being accommodating or at the least kind about it I was met with contempt and made to feel like I was an annoyance. This is inexcusable. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
