About 40 different vendor booths here, reminds me of King Richard's in Whittier but of course a whole lot smaller. A relaxing thing to do on a Sunday afternoon just walking around looking for nothing in particular and everything in general while memories come back as I check out the cool old stuff here. read more

This is one of my favorite antique malls, and unfortunately one of the few left in Fullerton (good for them, though!) I try to stop in when I'm visiting friends in Fullerton. Cute beachy & shabby chic stuff and not a lot of junk like you'll find at many malls. My only complaint is they won't let you use their bathroom and will send you to the hardware store across the alley. I'm usually not coming back to a store if I need to leave and I have cut my shopping short there for just that reason a couple of times. Otherwise, great little store! read more

Cute place, especially to buy nice gifts for friends who like shabby chic. If you don't at all, then this is not your kind of place. They carry nice stuff, not old, bad-smelling stuff at some antique stores. You can spend a fair amount of time hunting around, and the prices are pretty good by L.A. standards. read more

I've been here many a time. For some reason, I really really like this place. I like antique stores in general...I like how they're usually packed with stuff and you get to explore and discover things. Don't be fooled by the exterior - this place is humongous and has a little bit of everything! From antiques and old lace to vintage mod and handmade jewelry. Staff are super sweet and friendly. Prices are good and vary from vendor to vendor but nothing unreasonable. I'll definitely be stopping here when in DTF! read more

Super cute hidden treasure finds. This place is adorable. There are 2 levels. Upstairs is a cute store but some items seem very over priced, especially the clothing. Downstairs has lots of random things that seem very fair in price. Will definitely be back again. They even have free coffee in the back hallway. Classy touch!! read more

What a cute place. I wish there were more of these in the area- it seems to fit with the vibe of the old town strip. The store is laid out as vintage stores traditionally are arranged, with cubbies for various items provided by individuals and with a hidden downstairs area! Don't miss that! They have clothing, jewelry and other accessories, kitchenware, books, and furniture. I even found a drawer of beautiful plates for electric outlets and light switches. Overall, great little find. Very sharp and colorful mini antique mall.Went here a little before Halloween,looking for Halloween items,, and found quite a few items to buy.Downstairs brick part was neat, had a Halloween theme,but other items also.The owner was very sweet,and accommodating,she had very fair prices on her items.. I visited The Brick Basement yesterday and totally fell in love! The store was so cute and there was a good combination of old and new stuff to browse through... not to mention all the cool vintage Christmas decor! We only had about 30 minutes to shop before meeting up some friends for lunch but I managed to purchase 2 items before making our quick escape. I haven't made it to the actual basement part of the store yet though, so I will be back again soon for sure! read more

Varied quality merchandise, but why is the checking out process such a mess? As a dealer they've lost my resale info twice and couldn't access it a third time. I love this store, they have the best finds in Fullerton. The store is large and it takes awhile to shop both floors. I always seem to find what I am looking for. The store seems to have really good prices on all kinds of things. I found on my last visit a vintage feather weight sewing machine, I don't think that the dealer knew what they had I only paid $60 for it and it works perfect. You never know what you will find, keep an open mind and you will find a treasure. I only wish the city would have more stores like The Brick Basement, and fewer bars. read more

This place is amazball! It has everything and anything. If you're a shopper who's looking for a bit of Martha Stewart "Shabby Chic" look to a picker inspired furniture items look no further. This place is so unique. Every time I go in I go with an open mind because there are so many treasures destined to be found. And although most of then are considered chat ski items I prefer to think of it as the hidden jem that always has their door open for a new home in every corner a surprise just waiting to be found. The Brick Basement houses the best vintage items! I went to their open house on Saturday and there were so many wonderful finds. I love how the shop is organized and how unique each space is. This is the perfect place to visit if you are trying to find something specific or even just to browse. I am looking forward to putting my Halloween costume together with some great pieces I found here and cannot wait to see what they bring in for the holidays. There are always new items so if you find something you like, it's best to trust your instincts and get it before it's gone! I have been there many times and am a huge fan of their store. Because I am not sure when they will have new shipments I come in more often then I expect, at least once a month. They have luggage, to videos, jewelry and a large array of nick nacks that will flow from the street floor to the basement. I have bought candles and a sort of romantic fake pink flower in a vase, perfect for a gift, which it was. You won't find things in the store in many other places, they have their own uniqueness. Visited this shop on a whim while on the last day of my vacation in the US. Love the variety and size of the shop! I think we easily spent an hour just looking closely at every little knick knack. I ended up picking out a gift for my family back home and when my travel money card didn't work in the card reader the owner very kindly gave me the vintage item for free! I plan on visiting again when I can get to the US, and this time I'll bring paper money haha. read more

It's like a glorified estate sale and shabby-chic store rolled into one. Every time I go here it's like treasure hunting. This is called "mall" because it contains a variety of independent stores/vendors. If you like the shabby chic look, this is the place to go. Prices are varied, but I find them pretty reasonable. There's a sense that the owners are selective in their vendors and what they have to sell, so there's not too much cheesy, ugly junk you might find at other antique malls. This is a 2-story shop, so give yourself plenty of time to peruse the stalls. read more

Not the best selection of stuff but it's really great. This place is nice because compared to a lot of antique stores that try to jack up prices just because they're antique stores (or at least most of the vendors inside don't). One of the vendors tried to be "artistic" with a typewriter, ruining it functionally in the process which was disgusting and that vendor should be ashamed. read more

This place has SOME cute stuff, but it is very, very cluttered with fragile things so don't bring a bulky purse or a young child. Also, every time I've been there there's just been an overabundance of dishware. i am a fan! everytime i venture down harbor blvd, i have to drag my friends to the brick basement. i love this shop. yeah, its crowded. just hold your oversized purse close to your body, and you're good to go. they really do have a basement, and entrances on both sides, so dont forget to go down both of them. their vendors have great stuff. pretty clean for all the things they have hidden into that shop. i love the beach themed one. great furniture, a little pricey for me, but those are just a few items. the jewelry, old photos, and such are the real treasure to this shop. read more

The store is great love the stuff they have here, I was coming in once or twice a month until I had an awful experience with a staff lady. She was absolutely nasty... she nicely greeted people before me but then scowled at me when I smiled thinking I was going to receive the same greeting. I was like umm okay... then continued to shop. I was looking at stuff near the entrance, ignoring how rude she was being by staring, and trying to keep me in her site. At this time there were plenty other shoppers in the store so I have no idea why she assumed I was the only one doing something bad. It was REALLY uncomfortable... Then she comes right up to me, and says I cannot hold the items I want to buy and that she needs to hold them at the counter. My mouth drops open and I'm thinking are you serious? There are other people shopping a few feet away and I'm the only person that gets this kind of treatment. I tell her in the nicest way that I'm almost finished shopping, and that I'll be on my way to checkout so holding my things wont be necessary. At this moment she's being absolutely rude and nasty. After I said that, she says "give me those things" and puts out her hand. I cannot believe this... people were staring and I was so embarrassed. I didn't give in and repeated that It wasn't necessary and that I'm going to checkout right now. So she proceeds to aggressively grab the things out of my hands and walks back to the counter saying "If you don't like it then don't come back!" ....IT WAS AWFUL! I immediately left. Why on earth did they hire this vile person? What a stark contrast to all the nice things in such a nice store. If you come here just be wary If your under 30 and not blonde they might not be so kind to you.... :( read more
