Amazing vintage store with many cute and y2k options including clothing, jewelry, and many other accessories. There are pieces for everybody no matter what your style is. Bad service. They cleaned out their little nook by the window and put seating there. Assuming it's for customers, I put my bag down on the table and I was looking at belts. The lady who is at the cash register came over and in a loud, rude and accusatory tone told me to leave the area because I had merchandise with me. Quickly bought my shirt because I didn't feel comfortable to continue shopping. There's a different way to go about it and if it's not welcome for customers, maybe it should be closed off. I'm a quick walk to the circle from my home and I will never be taking my business here again. - I apologize I saw no sign that's my fault. I didn't hear sorry I heard "you can't be here with merchandise in an accusatory tone, loud enough for the people behind you to look at me like I'm a thief. You also putting pressure on me about showing my face with security camera footage on the internet is a low hit. I'm just sharing my experience this is my first bad review on yelp just because this experience rubbed me the wrong way and I felt shamed. The woman who is working this places cash register, not sure if she is the owner or a manager : is a completely disrespectful, rude, joke of a businesswoman and person. I asked about an item on a mannequin because I wanted to feel out the quality and sizing and she refused to let me try it on. Placing it on her body and saying "see this would fit me but definitely not you". Further insisting that I shouldn't touch the garment, mind you she has no idea if I'm buying this for a friend or myself or for any reason for that matter: that is simply not good business. She then kept on with her disrespectful antics in making comments about herself in the dress and clearly showing signs of insecure body image projection. What a terrible kind of woman to be working at a clothing store where mostly women shop. Insecure, tasteless, rude, and bad business? Yeah no thanks. read more

I've been to this store several times and have come to know the owners. They are wonderful people. The items they sell are cool, funky, and have that vintage and retro vibe and the store's image is inviting. The prices are comparable to or better than other similar stores in the area as well as other areas. The one-star reviews and reasons for them seem like butthurt responses to not getting one's way. I know several businesses in that area that have been hit by theft. I don't blame any of the owners for not allowing large bags and for watching people who are in the store. It's not the owners who are shady and treat people badly. It's the responses to a simple request. Act strange or disrespectful in someone's place of business, and it alerts people to keep an eye on you or ultimately ask you to leave. read more

I always find such fun stuff here and everyone so far has been super sweet! They tend to carry more 70s-90s stuff rather than older (30s-50s) items - but there are sometimes a few older gems, too. I think there are different sellers throughout the shop, so there's a wide variety of styles and price points. I love that there are several vintage clothing shops in Old Towne, now! (This one, plus Joyride & Elsewhere a few doors down - and also Groovy Ghost around the corner!) With several of the antique malls being pushed out in the last few years by all the restaurants pushing up the rents, I was worried that the whole vintage vibe down here would change and all the small business would be gone... but it looks like at least a few of the landlords down here aren't as greedy as others. When I stepped into Wild Horses Clothing Exchange, I was in complete awe at how affordable everything was and how stylish and beautifully curated the selection was. I wanted to get a top that was a bit more on the pricey side, but the owner let me negotiate the price down to a reasonable agreement. I absolutely love the vibes and the workers are so nice and helpful! When I come back to Cali, I definitely want to support and shop here again. There wasn't much I would consider quality in this store to garner the decision to stuff anything in my purse. I went in here with my brother and mom, and was immediately asked to check my bag in. I did so, because I understand where the precautions come from. My issue with this is that another girl about the same age as me walked in with an IDENTICAL bag as mine and was not asked to check it in. Another woman moments later walked in with a backpack, larger than my purse and was not asked to check it in either. The only difference between me and the younger girl was that my family and I are of a different ethnicity. See where it's wrong here?
