Hi :) I have to strongly recommend the Brick, but only if you can talk to Tom H., an out-of-this-universe salesman who is incredibly kind and who you can totally trust has your best interests in mind and will find the right furniture for you. We bought an adult mattress and toddler mattress and (soon) couches there and very happy. Good sales that were 50% off. There are other salespeople there who are really aggressive and unhelpful though. read more

So upset right now. My new table was scratched when I unwrapped it out of the box. I let the Brick know right away and they said they would get back to me. Today, they said they could exchange it, but I would have to take it apart (the table top must weigh 200 lbs) and put it back together myself or they would offer me a $250 store credit, which will continue to tie me to sub-standard customer service. My mother is a senior and she purchased a couch from this store. The couch pillows have disintegrated. The couch breaking down is covered in warranty. They are now making her pay $50 to have it delivered and to have the broken one removed. Reguardless of their products always having issues it is your responsibility to pay to have it delivered. We find it disheartening that they wouldn't do right by their customers. I guess that's their policy. *edit* Their reply is also garbage. Just like their customer service. I purchased a dish washer at the brick once and the sales associate lied about how the warranty worked and we caught him and they waived the delivery fee. It is not mandatory. It just depends on what client you're interested in giving poor service. Hope your reply made you feel like an "owner of your business". The other reviews here say it all. I read the reviews before going to the Brick; I should have listened! Don't be like me; run, don't walk away from the Brick! In March I was in the market for a new sofa and loveseat. The salesman was very interested in my business, and helped me pick out a suitable sofa and loveseat. He talked me into getting a Brick Visa card, because there is no payments for 90 days, which would be nice, because they furniture wasn't going to be here until May. After that, the service went downhill fast. I called every few weeks for updates; they never called me first. When I called in May, I was told the sofa was coming, but the loveseat was going to be a couple more weeks, so I took delivery of the sofa. When I called in June, I was told July, when I called in July, I was told August. Meanwhile, I had to pay the bill, so now had paid for furniture that I do not have. Finally in August when I called (they never called me to give me updates), they told me my loveseat wasn't coming until December!!!! At this point I completely lost all trust in the Brick. I asked them to come up with an alternative for me (like a matching recliner instead or a floor model) and please call me back. After waiting two additional days, I gave up and purchased a nice floor model recliner elsewhere (it's already at my house with no problem). When I called the Brick to cancel the sale of the loveseat, I was told that they won't give me my money back, only a credit on the Brick credit card they they talked me into in the first place! I have paid the bill! The only way I can get my money back is to take it up with the Brick credit card company. When I called the credit card company to ask how long it will take to get my money back, I have been told it will be an additional four weeks! In short, do not buy anything unless it is in their warehouse! Do not let them talk you into a Brick card; you have no control over payments or returns. If you like being ignored and treated like a bother to them, go ahead and purchase, but otherwise, don't go! Seriously, this was the most frustrating purchase I have ever made. We bought a new bed at the Brick a few years ago. One of the sales arguments was that we would get a 10 year warranty. Well, my wife and I wake up evrye day with pain, caused by our bed, which almost has a 3 inch sag. It is a known problem for Serta beds and that's why you don't see Serta sold by real honest sales people. (Also seldom seen at Sears) Anyhow, we have been busy with claiming warranty for more than a year and so far we still have accomplished nothing. The people at the "Brick" and the Serta warranty department are masters in avoiding warranty claims. There is no honesty or integrety when it comes to confronting the Brick with a warranty claim.
