I've had a great experience living at The Bridge at Tech Ridge. The community is well-kept, quiet, and feels safe, which is really important to me. The apartments are spacious with nice layouts, and maintenance has been responsive and professional whenever something comes up. The location is a huge plus close to major highways, shopping, restaurants, and employers, but still tucked away enough that it doesn't feel chaotic or noisy. The grounds are clean, the amenities are well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The office staff has been helpful and communicative, making the leasing process and day-to-day living easy and stress-free. I am still fairly new to the community however, it has definitely been a rough start from not being given a gate code to the apartment, not being properly cleaned before my move-in. They will tell you oh you should've just let us know however I didn't have time to wait so I cleaned it myself. They do not answer the phone and well on any given day. Decide to open the office late. They open at 8:30 but sometimes won't open till 10 and will not have notified the residence of the change. read more

Watch out for move out upcharges. I actually enjoyed when I lived at this apartment complex. The mail system was a little wonky but overall we had good experiences with amenities and living. My packages got stolen several times from my front door. Upon move out, the management stuck me with outrageous move out charges for "damages" that are regular wear and tear. They are charging hundreds for "repainting" the apartment, and they could not provide any evidence of why it would cost this much. The response was basically you have to pay this because that's how much we decided. And the front office staff was actively avoiding my phone calls for months. Just be aware that this place has beautiful apartments but the company just wants to get money out of you. First let me start by saying, this complex is one of nicest in N. Austin. The property is well kept, pool always clean and it's so quiet. Maintenance is amazing when there's any type of issue regardless of how small, they are on it. The office staff is phenomenal especially Griselda Prada. She moved all 3 of my kids in to each of their 1st apts and went above and beyond to make their first apt experience a great one. She's so awesome and the complex is so nice that I decided to sign a lease there and once again Griselda and management made the process quick and easy. Recently I attempted to help a blind/visually impaired friend move into this apartment community. As it happens, moving is expensive: Too many nonrefundable fees, and when the apartment turned out to be too small, my friend couldn't get an upgrade to a larger unit. Staff inflexible about refunding fees or doing upgrades, couldn't/wouldn't put us in touch with a corporate office. I will compliment Casey for friendliness and attempting to help. We've been living here 5 months and so far we haven't had any issues. Everything has been going smooth. Last night though, we got home and our AC was out. We called emergency maintenance and they were there within 20 minutes. They were so helpful and got our AC to work again. My husband, our dog and I truly appreciate it. Thank you so much! First, let's start with the good... Excellent maintenance service! Great turn-around on repairs and friendly service. HOWEVER, this does not make up for the office being totally unresponsive to noise issues. After residing here for over two peaceful years, the place went downhill so quickly, I happily paid a massive sum of money to escape. Noise issues= listening to your drunken neighbor beat his spouse x 4 months with no eviction notice. Then to put a cherry on top, THREE dogs barking round-the-clock for OVER THREE MONTHS. Just wow ! Been living here for 3 yrs going on 4 now and this will definitely be my last and honestly regretted signing the lease this past summer . Thing have gone so down hill with this property . The front office staff is nice but the budget cuts definitely show ( while rent increases) their is no security and now have to use in passcodes for the gates vs the clickers we had before 2017 . And not to mention the gate staying open for almost a whole year until they finally decided to close them again after a few car break ins . They hire a security for a company for a month and then when you try to call for assistance they no longer have the contract . And also the code is a pain in my butt I put it and half the time some random vehicle cuts me up and ends up taking the last parking spot and they would have enough parking if they got strict about how many vehicles per house hold . Example an old neighbor that finally moved out had 4 vehicles with a one bedroom and it was just him and his wife I brought it up to the front that they would take up a whole row of parking right in front of the building on purpose all the time ! And there response was sorry it's a first come basis -_- like wtf I pay so much to live here and can't even pull up to unload my groceries and I have a baby so this is very hard when I park far away and with my husband traveling for work . So this upcoming summer I'm gone for good this is just horrible and can't believe rent got this high for this . And ps I have my own washer and dryer but if you don't the laundry room is ghetto ppl a ríos the street from the hotel broke the door and they never fixed it and not to mention trash the laundry room all they time . If you visit this property in hopes to rent and see something out place expect it to get worst as these apartment are cheaply made and are falling apart after 3 yrs and not to mention the mold problems just save your money and look else we're this is not a quite and save complex anymore unfortunately. read more

I hate writing these but feel it was needed. This complex from day 1 was the best Taylor has to the best person by far, always has a smile and is very great at helping. The apartment and the year I have lived here I must say I was truly happy. The complex was very understanding to my chemotherapy needs. My only complaint is that when the time came to renew I felt pushed out and not even given the option to stay in a place that felt like home. I have been holding off from writing this review as I was asked by management to write a review a few months ago. The reason I failed to write the review is because of how I have been treated. I waited a few months to see if things would change after I've written emails to management regarding my issues and they were never addressed. I have been a resident at this apartment complex going on 4 years! I absolutely loved this complex until we were taken over my new management. I have had nothing but issues. I've put in service request that were not answered until days later. My biggest issue is that I feel like this leasing company allows anyone and everyone on to the apartment grounds. I've been on a weight loss journey for the past 6 months therefore I use the gym quit often. I witnessed a group of teenage girls who just came from the pool literally hanging their wet swim suits all over the gym equipment I reported this to management but obviously things have big changed. As last night I went to the gym around 8pm to find one of the medicine balls were popped??? How can that even happen, like seriously our residents don't even car about the community. I use the medicine balls frequently and every time I'm in the gym they are all over the place and now damaged. So even though the bridge updated the gym it's going to be ruined by careless people. The worst part of my entire experience is that I have asked numerous of times for pest control to come to my complex and they came once but I don't think they did anything as I still had an ant infestation on my balcony. I contacted management and was told that they had a representative at the pest company that was not really spraying the apartments and that she would send someone out again. Well that never happened when I did call to complain she said oh the reason is because you have an alarm and we have the wrong code. I told her I've never had an alarm code in the 3.5 years I've lived here. She then replied the pest control guy was positive it was my apartment. I told her she must have me confused with another resident. She basically called me a liar?? Then when I told her why would I lie about having an alarm or not she apologized and stated that pest control would be out again. Never happened. So I stopped calling and emailing as I was annoyed with the whole situation. Now I'm convinced that there is a roach infestation going on. I've never had a roach issue until recently. Residents leave their nasty trash out on the port the grills are disgusting the trash by the grills sits there and rots. It's ridiculous I had to wake up my fiancé this morning because there was a huge roach in my bathroom and I'm terrified of roaches. Oh let me add when I told the manger about the HUGE ROACHES she replied well it's good that it's the big ones and not the smaller one... seriously... I pay 3.00 additional monthly plus over 1000 in rent I shouldn't see one critter... I'm just so done with this company I'm seriously contemplating on breaking the lease. They said they CARE about the residents but definitely neglect them and their concerns. The last issue is that the leasing agents act so clueless at times. Example I recently ordered a few items from Amazon and I received notice my items were delivered 2 packages. I went into the office to pick them up and I only received one package. I advise the leasing agent Taylor that I have 2 packages she said that is all that we received for your apartment. And told me to have a good day. I stood there pulling up the tracking information to see who signed for both packages. Taylor then took a call while I was still talking to her... I waited and said they were both signed by you today. She said well that's all we have there were about 10 boxed in front of her desk I then asked so none of these boxes in front of your desk belong to residents? She said there's boxes in front of my desk??? Ummm yes?? Guess what it was there... how can you sign for packages and then not put them where you will remember them? These are belongings of your residents please have a better system. I'm just so over the bridge. read more

Short story: Don't deal with this leasing company. They are the absolute bottom of the bucket when it comes to honesty, ethics, and accountability. They lie, cheat, and steal very literally from their customers. Don't be fooled and pay the price like I did. They are scammers. Just stay away. Long story: When my roommate and I first came to the Bridge months and months ago in April, I was blown away. I met Taylor, who was polite and sweet. The property is pretty. The layout of the apartment was great. The rent was in our budget. We were excited. In June, we visited again, looking for availability and determined to sign a lease at the Bridge at Tech Ridge. Out of everywhere we looked, we couldn't get this place out of our heads and we were very much looking forward to living here. When we came into the office, Taylor was there again. She recognized us and were happy to show us the model again and give us our options for apartments that would be available on August 27th, our desired move in date. We skipped home to apply online. We decided on which apartment unit would be best for us and quickly submitted our application that same day. We dished out $280, believing that this place would be worth it. Fast forward to June 30th. Taylor emailed us the approval of our application and the lease contract documents. We were so happy! But when I went to read and sign the documents the next day, I noticed (thank god I noticed) that the move in date had been changed to September 10th, far after my current least would be up. I called the office immediately. Taylor picked up. She pretended like nothing had happened. She didn't apologize or explain. She just said "Well... we have this other apartment that I could get available for you on August 31st." That was the last day of my lease. I said I would think about it and hung up. Just to make sure I wasn't misremembering or going crazy, I went online to check on my application. The portal sent me a notification. The move in date was changed to Sept 10... 5 minutes ago. While I was on the phone with her, she went into the portal and changed the move in date on my application. If that's not the mark of shady and unethical activity, I don't know what is. I would not have applied for this apartment if its move in date was September 10th. I would not have paid almost $300 to apply for an apartment I can't move into before my current lease ended. I applied for an apartment with the understanding that the move in date was August 27th. Then, they just changed it without telling me at all. On July 7th, my roommate went in person to the office. Again, there was no apology or explanation. All Taylor said was that she could offer us that other apartment to move in on August 31st. He asked if she could guarantee that move in date. She paused and just said, "...it will be ready." My roommate agreed to the new unit and move in date, so Taylor said she would send the lease right away. The week goes by. Four days later, on Saturday, July 10th, my roommate emails Taylor and the leasing office for the updated lease to be sent to us. No reply. On July 14th, my roommate calls the office again. Taylor promises she'll send the lease that day. No such luck. Yesterday, July 19th, the lease is finally sent to us. No happy approval letter from Taylor this time. But today, July 20th, Taylor calls me and leaves a voicemail saying I need to sign the lease by the end of the business day today or else she's canceling us from the system. In the actual email containing the lease, it says "you and all co-applicants must sign the Lease Contract within 3 days after we give you our approval in person, by telephone or by email, or within 5 days after we mail you our approval." This timeline has been thrown way off because of all of this mess. But they could at least give us more than 24 hours to consider this new lease without threatening to cancel our agreement right away. To call me in less than a single day demanding that I sign the lease immediately is simply rude and inconsiderate. If the email presenting us with our new lease counts as an approval of our second application, then according to the email itself, we should have 3 days to look over and sign the lease. Instead, Taylor made me feel like they were holding us hostage. No. That's it. This company has repeatedly deceived us and made false promises without delivering. They don't own up to their mistakes at all. They lie and cheat in order to scam people out of their application money and then leave them out for weeks on end without a single word in response. They will sneakily change your information in their online application to ensure that their mistakes are covered up and you're simply left with nothing. This company is a sham, and they have wasted so much of my time, energy, and patience. I am so disappointed in the highly unethical and deceptive practices that the Bridge at Tech Ridge employs. He tries to connect with future residents while giving extremely good customer service to current residents. My clients who have moved in here are very happy with everything. I absolutely do not recommend moving here. The only reason we chose these apartments was becasue of the price (in Austin) and we were sold by the leasing agent that their rent has never increased. Of course when we renewed, our rent went up. You get what you pay for here. They are NOT luxury apartments as they advertise. very basic and outdated. There was mold in one of the bedrooms on the day we moved in that I had to contact twice about. I had to clean the apartment on top of that because there was dirt everywhere. Too many pest issues to deal with during my two years here. I'm just really disappointed with these apartments and now they have messed up moving out for me. Office staff confused my move out date to be 1 month earlier than stated on my lease and had already leased out the unit. Which I was actually completely happy about. Please, the sooner you can get me out of this place the better. But now, they will not even own that mistake and let me leave becasue its "Technically" breaking my lease, but their office made the mistake. Just let me go. I've never made a noise complaint, but should have. However, from reading the other reviews complaining about the noise probably wont do anything. The walls here are super thin and you can hear everything. The unit above me has a dog and it runs around like crazy all day and night (main reason I'm just ready to get out of here). My cousin lives in the next building and has made numerous noise complaints. To my knowledge they don't even have security anymore and the front gate is always broken, no need for a security code to get in. I'm just really upset that I have to live here another 30 or so days. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. My husband and I lived in these apartments for 6 months. We moved from Houston to Austin, and when we looked at them, we thought they were good enough for awhile, until we could purchase a home. It was fine for about the first month or 2, then we noticed that neither of our keys worked to get into the security gate. I had to use the keypad for awhile instead of my fob that they gave me. Every time I asked for a new fob, they told me they had ordered more and would be in soon! I never received the new fob, and to make matters worse, the gate ended up breaking somehow and was stuck open! Talk about security... Anyone could get in and out of the property 24/7. When summer rolled around, you could tell that this was happening, as non-residents of the complex were coming in and swimming in our pool all summer. Around our 3rd month there, we must of had new neighbors move in as all I could hear 24/7 was little kids screaming, and weird moaning noises. Even at 3 in the morning! The walls were so thin, I could hear our upstairs neighbor using the bathroom!! I never got restful sleep because of all the noises! Around that same time, we also got roaches in our apartment. We asked the apartment complex to spray on multiple occasions, and the roaches still kept showing up! I don't know if someone wasn't spraying, or if someone else came bringing them into the complex and they were getting into our apartment. One time I informed the office that one of our neighbors was taking pics of me while I took my dog out, and they didn't do anything about it. They just told me to call security if I saw it happen again. Long story short, I did not feel safe, I couldn't sleep and felt dirty with the roaches we had. I felt like I couldn't eat off our own dishes! The rent is fairly cheap, and they could be great apartments if the office would maintain better and care about their residents. The Maintenance team is very aggressive (meaning very timely) when completing repairs and personally I feel they do a GREAT job. I lived here for 6 months and I loved it. Really pretty apartments inside and out. And the staff is beyond amazing. I had a noise issue with a neighbor and they immediately responded and resolved it. They made everything very easy and a great experience. I never used the pool buts it's beautiful. The gate did stop working for a little bit but they fixed it and I never felt unsafe. I had to call courtesy patrol a couple times and they were very friendly and fast. I would definitely live here again. read more

Now a year later I asked to move to a 2 bedroom. Keep in mind I was living on the 3rd floor at center ridge and I get my new apartment at Tech ridge and the service is already bad. The girl in the office was new she didn't know who I was and what apartment I was moving in. They didn't have anything ready for me not even the apartment keys!!!!! I had to wait 30 minuets for maintenance to get me a copy of the keys. I then go to my apartment and the apartment is dirty!!!! I'm talking about dirty dirty. Restroom was nasty kitchens was nasty the apartment was just bad. Things were broken the cabinets we broken the appliances are old and rusty. After telling one of the girl ( I even took her to go see the apartment) she asked me to write everything down and turn in a form. I did what they ask me, I also requested new appliances. Another girl name Taylor said " I know we already posting a credit to the account but go ahead and send me pictures and I'll talk with management" ( keep in mind this the same week after moving in) after I was settle in i call the office to ask for Taylor email. I start explaining i lost her card and I'm trying to send the pictures so they can add the credit and change the appliances. She automatically starts talking over me telling me she never said she will add a credit nor change the appliances I start reminding her the comment she said she starts going off, talking over me and not letting me speak. I start asking for a manger she tells me there is not manager in the office. I got upset and yes I said some ugly words of should of not said but at this point I'm aggravated because she is not letting me speak nor she listing. I finally speak with someone else they get me the managers email and the manager start asking for pictures I send her the pictures and she gave me 2 option to stay and get the things fix in the apartment or move out. After telling her I'll stay because I don't have time to asked for a day off nor the money to deposit more money for a different apartment. Taylor was super helpful and found a great fit for me apartment wise! I will say the ladies are super sweet in the office. Downfall to my experience thus far- I was a bit disappointed to have my vehicle towed the second night of living in my new place. Although I was parked a bit over the line, I was home at midnight from work and up at 6AM the next morning-only to walk out and see that my car had been towed. A few weeks after, the property sent out a message about how the towing company patrols the area and not to park over the line at all. (Keep in mind these are ALL compact spaces, so it makes it more difficult when finding parking. Especially in the evenings). I would have loved to have been given a heads up that the towing is so strictly enforced. I was very upset to have to pay $200 after all of my moving expenses. read more

My fiance and I checked out this apartment and we were instantly welcomed by Vincent. He approached us with a big smile which was very contagious. He gave us a tour, and he was very detailed in what the apartments had to offer. He answered all our questions and we never questioned if he was selling us a story. Water and sewer is shared by all residents and divided unfairly. You can conserve your usage and you still pay for the ones who overuse. Also, the security gates constantly do not work so do not count on that feature. Plus, be prepared to get an apartment that a smoker had previously. The smell does not go away! read more

My roommate and I have had such a wonderful experience living here! All of my friends that visit comment on how nice the facility is and how beautiful the pool area is. It's quiet and our neighbor's are friendly. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind! They have little events throughout the month, like grab-and-go dinners (where you can grab a free dinner as you get back from work) and celebrate minor national holidays (like national potato chip day) by providing snacks in the main office! Maintenance is extremely fast and has addressed every minor issue that we've had the day of or day after we contacted them. They also have a cop patrolling the area at night so we always feel safe. The location is convenient, as it is right by I-35 and just 5-7 minutes from mopac. Living here has been a great experience! read more

Seemed great until I had a problem with a money situation I was going to be late on rent and I informed them ahead of time Instead of working with me they immediately started throwing around eviction warnings. Now it also comes to the late fees I was aware there were going to be late fees I am not dumb but I only had the money to take care of the full rent but not the fees Like I said I got into a bind with money. So here is my problem I let them know I am getting another check in the next week and wanted to know if I could pay the late fees them for I hadnt gotten a check in 3 weeks and I was catching up on all of my bills. The lady told me that I should have not been able to pay without the fees and that I will still get fees at $10 a day until I pay the fees although my rent is paid in full fees should only be applied if rent is not paid... now ill be put more in a bind... I am extremely pissed why the way they handle their business. I have been nothing but I good resident there. I was recommended this place by my good friend. Everything was fine.. I moved out in October. They just now contacted me saying I owe collection and fees due to their cleansing services. I'm a grown woman who would not leave an apartment unclean . They they tired to say I owe for a hole in the way and that they had photos of this. I requested the photos knowingly I don't did they damage . They then could not "locate" the photos and adjusted the cleaning fee for me! When I moved out I gave them my forwarding address and keys! To some girl at the front desk! This had everyone's information on it as well that was moving out! But yet they didn't have mine!! It's bull shit! I would never recommend this place to anyone and their tiny apartments! They also lied and did they made several attempts to reach me or email me. If they so called couldn't reach me by phone then why didn't they contact me though email ... until now!
