Living at Creekside on Kenney Fort Blvd has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I honestly can't figure out what we're paying for other than incompetence and disappointment. Let's start with the leasing staff -- a masterclass in unprofessionalism. It's like customer service training was completely skipped. Trying to get anything resolved feels like a waste of time. The recent management changeover has completely run this place into the ground. Trash is a huge issue -- literally. Every weekend, there are mountains of garbage piled up because apparently, operating the compactor is too complex for the trash valet guys to handle. The smell is overwhelming, and it attracts all kinds of critters. I've seen raccoons, stray cats, and rats helping themselves to the mess. If you enjoy living in what feels like a dump, this is the place for you. Sound insulation is practically nonexistent. You can hear every single footstep your upstairs neighbors make -- it's like they're stomping around in boots 24/7. On top of that, shared walls are so thin you can hear entire conversations, TV shows, and even phone calls from next door. If you're expecting any peace and quiet, forget it. As for the amenities -- forget about them. The pool is constantly closed with no explanation. The clubhouse, restrooms, and gym? Either locked, unavailable, or in total disrepair. When they are open, don't expect the bathrooms or gym to be stocked or clean. You'll be lucky to find soap. For what they charge in rent, you'd expect at least the basics of apartment living to be handled -- but this place doesn't even clear that low bar. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I love the property . It has hiking trails that run along Brushy Creek just outside the front entry . The pool is beautiful and has enough seating to accommodate even on the big Summer weekends. It has a beautiful rentable clubhouse and an on site dog park with well maintained turf plus pet stations all around the property. The staff is friendly and they host multiple events with great food from local restaurants that you might not otherwise know about. I have enjoyed my time here and that is not a compliment that I throw around lightly. read more

The complex is a complete mess, and wouldn't recommend it to anybody. The units are ok; with updated appliances and all wood flooring, however the A/C would often break. The quality of residents are terrible and the complex is run down. Amenities are often locked or closed for residents at all hours, dog poop riddles the property, and gates are always broken. The residents themselves get away with pretty much anything. From illegal immigrant smuggling, package theft, loud music 24/7, car break in/theft, personal property dumped on green spaces, and apartment squatting. Any issues that are brought up to management are met with the response "If you don't like it you can just leave" or no actions taken. I thought it was just my experience, but many locals state this is quite common for this apartment complex. read more

I'll give 2 stars just for the fact that Angela , Denise and Ashlyn In the leasimg office are really great. However , my first year here was great no issues great neighbors. Parks , stores and retail were all very close it was great. Now , year 2 having to renew my lease not having enough time to house shop ,and explore my options for what I wanted I had no other option than to renew . First rent skyrockets, but ok whatever I wasn't up to moving with two toddlers again . Now neighbors aren't picking up after pets , bugs . At least once a month the AC breaks. Then I've had my refrigerator, and dryer break. Granted maintenance does a good job.Let's not forget to mention the dumpster is always filled and it's just unsightly and in the summer in reaks . The grounds are never kept up with . Then my husband gets his catalytic converter stolen off his truck , then his truck stolen . If Doreen ever has an issue with you she talks to you in a tone like she's disaplining a child , which is just aggravating. Also threatenes to hang up on you which is just so unprofessional. We have had the worst experience living at these apartments. If you want roaches, if you want to hear your neighbors every move with the paper thin walls, if you want pay for over priced rent for bad quality then You should definitely live here. We have never had roaches let alone in the 20 years of living and renting in Round Rock have we ever had them in any of our rentals up until now. So embarrassing. We moved here less than a year ago and I know for a fact we are not renewing. I can go on and on about this issue and how we have tried over and over again to work with the front office, and the corporate office regarding the roaches and we still see them. I don't understand how anyone can live here. I could understand if we lived in a bad area paying low income type rent but these over priced apartments?? Like I said, the list goes on and on about these apartments. The paper thin walls, expect to hear everything your neighbors are doing. The grounds ARE NEVER kept up with. There has been dog feces in the walk ways for days (still there). Graffiti on the walls for months. Very long story short, do not recommend. read more

I lived here for 2.5 years and had no major issues. Complex was quiet for the most part, maintenance issues were fixed quickly whenever I had them (which wasn't often), and the apartment/fixtures were nice. They have hiked up rent since I moved there which I wasn't a fan of but I guess that's everywhere. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was parking. If you get home around 8/9PM, expect to park far away from your building, or even outside of the complex if you don't pay for covered parking. read more

Weather changes and the door sinks so you can't lock or unlock it. We've had it fixed twice but the door will just sink again. There's absoluterly no sound insulation so you can hear people using the restroom, flushing toilets, people screaming at each other, heavy footed walking will shake your apartment and sound like thunder. The pipes creek when water is used and it sounds like someone dropped a golfball on the wood floors above. You can hear anything going on in the hallways so I hear the dog down and across the hall bark all day and night. Maintenance works very hard but they are treated poorly and the company refuses to hire more help. This place looked so promising, it really upsets me that a place I thought I was sure to renew the lease turned out to have so many problems. The prices aren't too bad but people need to start demanding better for their hard earned money. read more

I love my apartment! Everyone is so friendly in the office. I have great neighbors. They introduced themselves on day two. This is amazing. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. I love the pool and it is nice to have a clean weight room. I had some minor issues after moving in with some repairs in the apartment. I spoke to Denise Rogers in the office and the next day maintenance had fixed it. The maintenance guys were so personable. I have rented many times in my life. I absolutely love these apartments. I've never had an issue here, you need something fixed? It almost always gets done the same day. Everyone in the office is so kind, the grounds are NEVER dirty and full of trash. They provide doggie bags for poop, and they always have small events for the residents. I've also seen them drop kids off at their apartment on the golf cart after the bus drops them off in the front of their apartment. She was friendly, all my questions were answered and she gave me a wonderful tour plus a beautiful bottle of wine for visiting! It has amazing amenities including a resort-style pool granite countertops washer and dryer included Creekside views detached garages stainless steel appliances and a volleyball court . My sister lived here for about 7 months during a tough time in her kids and her's life. In June, she was asked not to renew her lease which was up in July. While the reasons could have been disputed, no one wants to live somewhere they are not wanted. I was helping her pack and came out with a load to see my sister crying. She said that she was packing and crying when Cara, the manager and her upstairs neighbor, took the time and inconsideration to stop and laugh at her to which yes she admitted she flipped her off. After a bit of a discussion we continued loading. That is when their "courtesy patrol officer (CPS)" showed up. He came over and put his foot up on the ramp of the Uhaul and said I heard you had it out with Cara. To which my sister replied excuse me? He repeated himself and she asked who he was to which he replied he was the "cps." She explained to him what happened. As she said this, my sister was getting visibly upset. I stepped in and said it's over, we are packing, and trying to get out of here. He said mhm mhm I understand and remained there with his foot planted on the ramp. At this point it was clear he was not there to prevent something from happening, but to make it worse for my sister. I asked him for an id to prove his position. He told me he didn't have to provide me with any but to be assured he was a cop and could get the cops out there. I said there was no need we are just trying to finish up, please leave. Again he said he didn't have to. I questioned again about his credentials and he again said he could call the cops at which point I told him that he needed to leave because I would call the cops for him harassing us. Eventually he got the point and left. The last day I called and I was transferred to Cara and I asked about doing the walkthrough at which point I was yelled at that my name is not on the lease and she would not be doing a walkthrough with me. I attempted to discuss it with her, but she hung up. I had the keys and my sister still had the garage remote, so we decided to both head over to complete her move out. I went into the front office and I said I had the keys and I was wondering if I could talk to Cara, because I understood that there were issues between her and my sister, but I am only here to finish up the move out process as her proxy. Cara came out and immediately asked what I was doing there. I started to explain I wanted to do the walkthrough and she cut me off saying the same thing she said on the phone. I tried explaining I was there as her proxy and I know they had issues, but I am just trying to do right by everyone. At this point she told me to leave or she was calling the cops. I told her I have the keys and my sister is on her way so I wanted to wait for her to hand them off. At this point she started screaming at her front desk person to call 911. I decided it was best to wait for the cops. In walks the "cps." He comes over to me and starts pacing behind my 4 year old and loudly says repetitively "Is this really worth going to jail over, Is this really worth going to jail over? You could go to jail for this, is this really worth it?" At this point I ask him to stop and motion towards my kids. For a moment he did, but then came back and continued. He then walked out because the cops had arrived. My 6 year old asked if I was going to be arrested. I explained to him that I was not and I have not done anything wrong. I then walked out to talk to the cops. Everything went fine there. They asked us to sign a no trespassing order which we both did (even though legally she still had rights to be on the property). We asked to do a walk through with an officer and Cara denied it saying they would video it. A week later my sister was hit with a $500 bill on top of her deductibles with no video walkthrough. I contacted Renee Hubbard at their regional office and she was very helpful and had the charges reversed. Unfortunately both of the people who handled this situation so poorly are still there. read more

Tomorrow makes 2 weeks since we moved in. We love it here!! It's quiet, clean and the front office staff is so helpful. The grounds are beautiful I see people out there working almost daily. The apartment is very nice we have a 2/2 on the first floor. Love that they have no carpet. No upstairs neighbors yet so not sure how the noise will be but we have neighbors next door with kids and large dogs and we hear very little to nothing. Angela is the assistant manager and has been nothing short of awesome! She replays to all emails promptly, and that's means a lot to me especially knowing how busy they are. The area is conveniently located with easy shopping in the area, Brushy Creek Trail is across the street. My only negative is limited parking there are a lot of garages and covered parking spots free parking limited around our area but, it's not a deal breaker. I would recommend living here to anyone. It's now been 2 1/2 months. We finally have upstairs neighbors they have been in for close to a month we do hear some noise...mostly walking every now and then. Still happy to be here. Parking is more of an issue now that the buildings around us are full. After 7 or so if we have to go out we really think about it ba cause we know when we get back will have to park far. I looked at over 10 different 4 and 5 star rated apartments that met my criteria and availability. Cameron was a dream to work with at Creekside. He showed me the property and explained all the wonderful amenities they have to offer the residents. I have to say I was impressed with how clean the property and facilities were there. The pool is sparkling clean and they even have modern chairs that actually sit in the water!! I was equally impressed with the Dog Bathing Station!! I can't wait to use it. Cameron also explained Creekside has dog areas and the property supplies bags and a waste bin. WOW! Cameron took his time showing me all my options and worked with me on my move in date. Cameron was very professional and has excellent communication skills, a "real" people person and made me feel right at home. We have officially moved in now and we love it. It's nice and quiet. My neighbors are friendly too. Cameron made this stressful move a breeze!! I also love the fact it is a gated community. If I had a choice between Cameron or Brad Pitt to show me around... Hands down vote for Cameron. read more

My boyfriend and I went to look at these new apartments, and were horribly disappointed. We went in around 3pm, the sign on the door said "Open! Come on in!" So obviously we walked in... to find no one there. We waited a few minutes and a lady (Bri, I think) hurriedly ran in and said she'd get in trouble if we were in there and to wait outside while she finished a walkthrough. What we found out on the walk through was even more concerning. The leasing office doesn't lock! (to be clear. The office has a lock and it is apparently broken) the agent messed with it, and couldn't get the door to lock, and said "it would be fine". The leasing office is where all the packages are kept and stuff so I found it weird that it didn't have decent security measures. The gates that led into the pool and things seemed fairly broken as well, the agent punched in the code several times and it finally worked after about the fifth attempt. Also, she had no idea what was going on in the property. She told us they were getting grills soon (and they were already there, and were very visible). The construction noise was very loud and easily heard through the paper thin walls of the complex. Last but certainly not least. When I asked for our ID's back after the walk though, she said "Oops, I forgot to get them from you. it'll be our little secret." and she put her finger in front of her mouth. My faith in this apartment complex to do anything correctly has quickly dwindled to zero. Please think twice before renting here. I could only imagine the nightmares you can get yourself into with having such a terrible staff running something so important. read more
