DONT WASTE YOUR TIME: REPORT TO BAR ASSOCIATION. THEY ARE NOT BEING HONEST I contacted the Brinton Firm because of a roach and bug infestation in my unit downtown. It has been an ongoing issue. I sent an entire dropbox full of evidence! I originally spoke to and corresponded with the person who picked up the phone, Vivian Barrios. I sent over the evidence only to be told after a few days when I called back to inquire that the attorney said "I had no case" for a roach infestation. Keep in mind the fridge had to be removed, video of Orkin saying the entire building was infested and the unit had roaches in the walls and in the washer dryer. Note: They did not say "We cant take on your case" but that I HAD NO CASE in terms of infestation. Funnily enough I did get in touch with HOA is already suing and got my info to add to their VERY REAL ongoing case, making it easier to remove from the board so OBVIOUSLY i did HAVE A CASE They are incompetent and obviously looking for some "teed up" case requiring NO effort of work on their part, and a client to take advantage of by choosing only such cases. However to say "you have no case" is just plain WRONG and IRRESPONSIBLE, because if they are PAYING FOR TOP ADVERTISING SPACE when you type in "roach infestation" etc, then saying this to someone without knowledge they are GIVING OUT FAULT and DAMAGING advice to people that they should NOT seek a second or third opinion in the face of an OBVIOUS and CRAZY HUGE infestation. This is WILLFULLY MISLEADING as they are PAYING for covert advertising, purporting themselves as a TOP TIER firm with a specialty in this very area. They are therefore FAILING to uphold that suggestion by ENCOURAGING TENANTS OR CONDO OWNERS with VALID and DEMONSTRABLE claims to NOT SEEK LEGAL REPRESENTATION or REMEDY for this very gross problem which can spread DISEASE etc, as per a REPUTABLE person. Since is the LAWYER communicating that "there IS NO case" that is considered LEGAL ADVICE under his/her/Brintons license and specialization area and can be considered a LEGAL RECOMMENDATION to not pursue action, in DIRECT OPOSITION to the situation at hand. The problem is that you never get to the attorney, Mr Brinton nor even an associate because they couldn't be bothered. When I left a message with this firm to inquire about filing a suit against my landlord for breach of contract for dozens of health and safety violations stemming from an inspection in late 2019 through the present, the renting out of an illegal structure, toxic mold/health issues, etc,...a woman called back and asked me a couple of questions and I proceeded to explain the whole sordid tale. Called four times from different numbers requested an office manager for one report her unprofessionalism, rude behaviors, tone, inability to comprehend elementary requests. Each time for two weeks, followed up and today Augurs 16, 2023 this individual answered phones hung up on me (mind you blocked number and disguise my voice). She seem paranoid then abruptly hung up. This employee should be reprimanded by the law firm. Their missing out on potential cases and revenue due to this Person's conduct, behavior and lack of accountability. i had a bed bug amd wrongful eviction case and someone gave me this lawfirm information. i clled and at first i was skeptical. i gave my information to crystal. who at first was on my case and helpful. i sent her everything and after i sent her everything she started to ignore my calls and emails. and after a month or two she finally answered and told me to keep sending me updates and more evidence. we had a bed bug infestation active for over a year and sprayed nine different times. my daughter had to go back and forth to her doctor. we also had a a mold issues with three kinda of mold that my daughter had allergies to. the city was involved and at the end we were still kicked out. crystal kept saying "we have a strong case" but did not pass the information to the real attorney!! i do not recommend this firm. we had letters from the city and health department. we got kicked out because we had to attorney. we also had our right violated. we are harrassed and false police calls were made.. They weren't able to take my case and they gave a concise explanation. They advised small claims court. So that's what I'm going to do. My case is defective plumbing the landlord refuses to fix. The plumbers say it could be easily jetted out. Instead, he does nothing and ignores correspondence. 3 units have flooded and I get waste water randomly coming up through the sinks. Worst help ever.. tried to get them to help with my slumlord but still got evicted and put on streets with newborn and a 12yr old. I sent all my problems and all they could say is take pictures of rats or roaches. They didn't listen when I told them my 8 and half month wife falling because the sinks and tub in house don't drain and the water just runs all night causing floor to be wet and we trail to and from bathroom in dark...so just imagine what happens.
