This meant we had to choose between watching our kids (ages 4-7) or eating cake together, since we couldn't do both at once. As a result, our kids ended up playing unsupervised while we were stuck eating in a separate room. This raises a real safety concern: if parents are forced to step away from the play area just to eat cake, who's responsible if something happens to a child while no adult is watching? That's a serious liability question the venue doesn't seem to have thought through. When we tried to bring the cake out to the supervision area, a staff member confronted us about it in a way that felt unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful. As grown adults, we were made to feel like we were in trouble for doing something wrong, simply for trying to watch our kids while having a slice of cake. There are better ways to enforce a policy than coming at customers like that, especially in front of kids. It left a bad taste and made an otherwise fun birthday feel stressful. Would not recommend unless they revisit both the policy and how staff communicate with guests and rethink a rule that puts kids' safety at risk.

While the miniature golf course remains in good condition, it is disappointing that the water slides are no longer operational. The pool area still looks sparkling clean and well-maintained, yet it remains inaccessible to guests. I discussed this with the workers and they stated that there are no plans to reopen the slides. If so, I suggest utilizing that space for something new to better serve their visitors. Blackbeards has a great deal of potential, and I look forward to seeing the improvements that could take place in the coming years.

We had a great experience celebrating our 10 year old's birthday here this past February, 2026. From just booking our party to the day of Amy was AMAZING! She and her team made sure that our party room was ready to go the minute we arrived , check-in of all guests was smooth. The party rooms are so clean and spacious with a racing theme. We didn't need to bring in any additional decorations. Food was great and during the 30 minute break between the first and last race the boys all enjoyed the arcade which Amy recommended.
