When we booked my daughter's 7th birthday party at No Surrender Fresno, it sounded like a dream setup: kids could choose between the play area or laser tag, get a game card for the arcade, and enjoy an hour in a private party room. Plus, we were told we could bring a fruit and veggie tray (mom win!). It felt like the perfect combo of flexibility and fun. But then... reality checked in at the front door. First, we were told the kids couldn't go back and forth between play and arcade--only one could be done at a time. Not a huge deal, but definitely not what we were told when we booked (and re-confirmed more than once). We're here, the guests are here, so we go with it. Cool. Then, our party room changes from Room 1 to Room 3. Still rolling with it... Room 3 was decorated nicely, but it was tiny. We had 15 kids and a bunch of parents--there was barely enough room to breathe, let alone grab a slice of pizza. Luckily, there were a few seats outside the glass party room, so parents camped out there like it was a birthday tailgate. Trying to make things easier (and, you know, be a decent host), I brought out the fruit and veggie tray we were told we could bring. Not 30 seconds pass before our party hostess--doing her job, I know--tells us the tray has to go back into the room. Outside food can't be consumed outside the room. Ok, fine. Back in it goes. Now it's cake time. My sister-in-law made a custom cake that looked amazing and tasted even better. I bring a slice to a guest sitting right outside the party room. Again, we're told: cake has to go back. I had reached my limit. So, like any New Yorker who's trying to keep it classy, I asked the hostess, "How big does your tip have to be to not see a slice of cake?" She smiled and replied, "I'm just following the rules. My manager enforces them." Sigh. So I speak to the manager, who kindly but firmly tells me: rules are rules. If they make an exception for me, they'd have to do it for everyone. I wanted to tell her that customer experience is the best marketing, but honestly, I was drained and didn't want to give another unpaid business seminar. I spent the last 15 minutes of the party sitting outside the glass, writing this review. So here's the bottom line: The kids had fun. The room looked cute. The pizza was good. BUT... Be ready for rigid rules that don't prioritize guest experience. Don't expect flexibility, even when it makes sense. If you have guests outside the party room, they may not be allowed to eat what you brought or even the cake. Would I book here again? Honestly, probably not. The experience could have been great--but too many unnecessary rules and not enough common sense got in the way. Parents: just know what you're walking into, and maybe bring a rulebook with the gift bags.

    Wow, beer nice!

This was my very first time visiting. Having a 4 year old, I only spent time at then Adventure Course section for toddlers and younger kids. I will say it's a lot larger than what you think! With three levels, I felt like Alice in Wonderland ... a maze trying to find my kid! LOL It is a workout for parents. Some parent watch but the signs say a parent must be present so ... it's a workout! The facility was super clean. However we came during the week when they first opened. Honestly a maze like this would be fun for adults too! Maybe after hours with lights dimmed. The staff is super friendly. We were starving after an hour of constant play. Dining in is expensive as with a typical amusement park. However, the food would bring this place down. I spent $61 for 5 ... typical overpriced amusement park food. It EVERY entree was either wrong or horrible. I felt bad to the woman (Claudia). She was super nice and apologetic. It sounded like the mishaps weren't her fault as the cook messed up her the orders. 1. Kids meal - slider and fries: the bread hard and the meat was overcooked. Pretty much charred hockey pucks that were inedible. My son didn't touch them. 2. Kids meal - grilled cheese and tater tots: the tater tots were good but the grilled cheese was on the hardest, untoasted bread. The cheese wasn't even melted! 3. Ultimate loaded fries: they got this wrong. Asked for no onion and no mushrooms. Came full of both and had to be made again. 4. Buffalo Chicken fries: came last. Cut tip chicken tenders were so hard it bent the fork (see picture). 5. No nacho sauce in stock. 6. Was told no ranch for the kid meals or my buffalo fries. Luckily Claudia found some. I felt really bad for her because she could tell it was all wrong. She had to remake a lot of food but honestly it should've been refunded. I would stick with pizza if I return to dine in. Cool thing is they have beer, wine and mixed drinks for adults. My experience at the facility was excellent. But the food was inedible which is sad because it's a very nice place. But the food is as the worst ever. Customer service (front desk and Claudia) were awesome.

Very pleased with our first experience booking a party at No Surrender! Our family had a birthday party here for our child and 10 friends. We opted for a birthday package which included one hour in the adventure course, one hour in the party room, a $15 game card for each guest, 3 pizzas & unlimited beverages. Each guest also received a No Surrender Dogtag necklace. The facility was clean, newly renovated, and not as loud as other comparable birthday spots in the area. We were greeted upon entering, given a birthday rolling cart, introduced to our party host, and we were informed they would decorate and set everything up. Our party host, Aslin, was so kind, focused, attentive, and really did a phenomenal job setting up the room. There is even a button to push in the room if there is anything you need as the party is going in the room. She helped with setup, clean-up, serving food & cake, and beverages. Pizza was fresh out on tables precisely on time, kids loved it, and you can choose a full topping or half and half. Though we had many of our own party supplies, they are happy to supply plates, cups, napkins, utensils, tablecloths, etc. Our child thoroughly enjoy their party, and as parents, we were so impressed with the timeliness, attention to detail, and care the host and facility takes to make the day as smooth and fun as possible. They used their own tape, push pins, etc. to put up our decorations too! Tips: we were able to bring in a veggie tray, a fruit tray, and a cake. They kept these items refrigerated and labeled until we needed them. You can only bring in specific outside food if you book a party room. Also, to save time, recommend having guests sign waivers prior to party start time (it cane even be done online) We highly recommend having a party at No Surrender in Clovis, CA! I made sure to tell many workers at No Surrender how pleased we were with our whole experience, but I just had to share the excitement with you all! Thank you!

My total waste expense for this terrible service party

    What is the pricing?

The Combo prices are $30 to $24 and $50. The family pack is $135.

How frequent does cleaning happen in the kids zone and play area?

Hi we clean the play area every night and for the ball pit we clean them twice a week with a machine that will wash all the balls in the ball pit

Can we bring in cupcakes to the table area?

No outside food unless you pay for their party room ( not worth it)

Those you have taken older kids into the play area.... what did they think? What would you say is the upper age limit? Their website says 7-14 is the upper age limit. That's a pretty big range.

We live about 53 minutes away and planned to celebrate my son's birthday here. During our first visit, we arrived around 6ish p.m. only to be told they were closing early at 7:30 p.m. for "maintenance." This was never communicated beforehand, so we made a nearly one-hour drive for nothing. One of the young managers tried to be accommodating, and I appreciated his effort, but the overall experience was still disappointing. We decided to give them a second chance, hoping the first visit was just a one-time issue. Unfortunately, the second experience was even worse. We were given incorrect and conflicting information by an employee, and management did not provide clear or consistent answers either. It was obvious there was a lack of communication and training among the staff. The most frustrating part is that we made another 53-minute drive because we trusted the information we were given, only to have our time wasted again. When families are spending their time and money especially for a child's birthday they deserve accurate information and reliable customer service. Sadly, that was not our experience. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and invests in better employee training and communication so other families don't go through the same frustration we did.

They also have private room for birthday parties or events. The regular trampoline area was big and had so many trampolines. Some spots were even flat ground. There is so much to do there! Not to mention that you can go to Groupon and pay even less for a day of fun. Since my last review they've added a huge jungle gym in the back with a row of ropes to climb on. Kids town is FULL of toys for imaginative play and a jungle gym for toddlers as well. There is a music station, book station, a pretend store, pirate ship, school bus, dress up station, and so much more! You can spend all day there! For the older kids and adults there are plenty of trampolines and a foam pit to jump in. There are arcade games, plenty of seating and massage chairs too. I appreciated the mix and match combo in the food area. It was perfect for a small kiddo but teens and adults may want to consider something more. We got a slice of pizza that was pretty small and a slushee that was a bit smaller than the small size. For $5 it was a nice snack to get us through to dinner time. I can see they have done a lot to amp this place up but I feel like the food area doesn't match up. I'm no business owner but I feel like better quality food, bigger portions, and more employees to run the spot would be a huge benefit. I feel like with so much there is to do they could use more employees. I can see the employees have to fill more than just one position. I saw The cashier was also picking up the balls in kids town. No one was watching the trampoline area. The food court was packed with only 2 people working. No one is watching the big jungle gym in the back. They also had to host parties. I guess if you work here you must wear many hats! Kudos to the staff working their butts off! If you visit, please be courteous and keep a watchful eye on your kids. The small amount of time it would take for them to put things back or throw their trash away, I'm sure, would help the staff tremendously.

She also kept telling us she was working a double shift and that she's tired not sure why we need to know that information also she would take 25 mins to bring in our drinks and then she would say "I'm just one person I can't carry everything" which I felt was very rude and I know everyone else did. We ended up asking a gentlemen walking by to help us out with dips and sauces for the food and drinks and he did which was so kind of him. We spent over $500 on my mom's party and the server was just not the best. Very sweet girl but Brooklyn seemed like she was overwhelmed and didn't want to do it. Also my guest all had different tabs for drinks and she got our drinks mixed on different tabs and told us she couldn't fix it and if they don't mind just paying for somebody else's drink. When closing out the tabs she was telling us to leave a tip here (on the screen) and didn't give anybody receipts after we asked for them. And we find out the next day from Tere the event coordinator that there's an automatic gratuity charge of %20 on each guest tab because we are a party.. which was very unfortunate because we were not told that and we were still tipping her at the end on the card. Randy was the only one who told me when signing my contract and paying remaining balance that there's an automatic tip no need to tip. But I didn't know it applied to all my guest tabs when they were ordering drinks as well. Very inconvenient and the event coordinator should let people know there's automatic gratuity for everyone in your party and every transaction because you guys are a party. The managers were amazing but the server was not the best at all. And now I know for the future and I'll make sure to share that if you book a party here request two servers and that there's automatic gratuity in each transaction we do because we are a party.
