We always come here on weekdays and never have to wait because they operate on a waitlist, which is a dead sexy way of doing things I wish more breakfast places would adopt. You phone (587) 317-5743, and they tell you how long the wait will be. Then, when there is a 15-minute window before your table is ready, they text you, and you come to the joint. The duck fat hashbrowns are a big draw and there are big fans of the egg bennies in our pack. The mini waffles are delectable and there are coloring pages for kiddies. I appreciate how they are open to substitutions (ie. avocado for sausage) and have friendly servers that keep the delicious coffee flowing.

Decided to stop to get brunch near the airport before our flight back home. For 2 of us, there was either spots at the bar immediately or a 20-30 min wait for an actual table. As we were on a time crunch, we opted for the bar seating but where they sat us was a little strange - it's like an added extension of the bar right but separated from the actual bar, adjacent to the hostess stand, and next to a bunch of kitchenware and what looked like staff's drink containers/bottles as if they just wanted to make use of as much space as possible. Snickerdoodle chai latte was not too overly sweet but the chai did overpower the snickerdoodle. My brother loved his Nutella hot chocolate. I opted for the hangry bowl with duck fat hash, chorizo, ham, bacon, soft poached eggs, salsa, & chipotle hollandaise. Boy was this heaaaavy - I was full for the rest of the day. The salsa and hollandaise really paired well with the saltiness of the rest of the bowl, made it so that you don't grow tired of it quickly. Bacon was a little bit on the chewier side and I wish the potatoes were a little more crispy but overall it was a delicious dish. My brother got the loco moco breakfast with jasmine rice, beef patty, onions, brown gravy, & sunny side up eggs which was done just right. We were in and out within 30 min and left with very satisfied stomachs.

We come here quite often as a family. It has a good number of brunch / breakfast options including vegetarian options. We had the Bennys , a chai / coffee as well as a side of the mini waffles DON'T forget the white chocolate lavender syrup for the waffles , it's the best !

I love this place. Every time I come here it's super consistent with friendly servers, impeccable quality food and just overall atmosphere is welcoming. Any time I go through Calgary, I must eat here for breakfast and there's nothing new I haven't said before. Good quality is top notch, your coffee never stays empty. They even gave me one to go. There is just one small knock on this visit and that is the AC was cranked a bit too high for first thing in the morning. But now I'm just being picky... love them.

Make sure to call the wait list! This place fills up fast but the service is quick and there are tons of servers around to help out with anything you need. Our drinks got plugged in wrong so we did have to wait a while for the third mimosa. However, our server was apologetic about it and they weren't overly sweet which we enjoyed. The best part of the open faced avocado sandwich had to be the pesto! Eggs were great and cooked to perfection! the seasonal fruit was excellent. The waffles are to die for! I thought they wouldn't be anything special. Luckily the manager gave us a sample as an appetizer and OMG DELICIOUS. It's packed, but you don't feel like you're eat on top of each other, but make sure to call ahead. Wheelchair friendly.

    Adobo. Very salty and dry.

I wished that I have read those negative reviews about servers rushing people out from their tables before people can't even finished their food. Didn't get much attention or being asked about how the food was, but we were given full attention after 40 minutes. The servers were exceptionally rude for literally trying to take our unfinished plate out of our hands, and asking us repeatedly if we had finished our food, or if we needed as box to go. When I raised my concern, the server bluntly told us that they had a "seating time limit" and needed the table asap. I wish they had informed us beforehand that there was only a 60-minute time limit for a party of three. Regarding the food. The adobo was too salty and disappointing. The fried eggs were okay though. Paying good money for this and can't even relaxed for a weekend brunch. Avoid at all costs!

While in town, I decided to have breakfast at this place and it was such a great experience. I went during the weekdays so it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. The service was great and the servers were very attentive, answering questions I had. Everything looked and sounded great on the menu, but I decided to go with the Cali Poutine, which was delicious! The eggs were perfectly poached and the hash browns had such a nice crisp on the outside and soft insides. I would definitely be back when I'm in town again!

Landed on a Thursday morning after a flight from YYZ and wanted to kick off our Banff trip with a good brunch so we headed over to The Bro'Kin Yolk. We had called from the airport to see about a waitlist and were told it would be maybe 20 min. wait which was perfect since it took us about that long to drive over there. We decided on the Bacon Benny ($18.99), Seoul-Wich ($18.99) and the Hold the Carb ($16.99), and a round of coffees! Service was very friendly and our orders came pretty quickly. Dishes were hot and fresh, especially loved the duck fat hash. This location is on the smaller side so not a lot of seating - expect a wait at peak times and weekends. But worth the wait!

Went to this treat Sunday morning. We tried to go Saturday but didn't get on the "wait-list" and was told it would be over an hour to get a table. Works better if you call an hour before you want to go and be "added to the waitlist" then they text you when your next (15min). large parking lot so no trouble there. Got seated immediately upon arrival and waiter was taking drink orders as we were taking off our coats. Coffee was nonstop and he came to top up the coffees almost every 10min. Great service. Food was delivered after a respectable amount of time and was nice and fresh. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Portions were great. The waffles were not quite as hot as I'd like but the toppings were absolutely amazing. The white chocolate and caramel were the best and definitely the ones I'd recommend. I added the chicken apple sausage for some protein. They were very good - not fatty and had great flavor. Much better than your non name brand breakfast sausage. The Truffle, Ham, Wild Mushroom poutine great. Good flavor, good portions, the duck fat hash was excellent, not greasy with a hint of extra flavor each bite. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Next time ill opt for 1/2 spinach instead of full hash. The Farmers Breakfast was Huge. Definitely enough for 2 people. Large slices of fresh bread with your choice of jam/jelly/peanut butter. Eggs were soft and fresh, bacon was better than expected and not just thin and fatty. 3 single person bathrooms but very very small as when you open the door you have to sneak by the sink and toilet to shut the door. Long wait times so they do rush you once you have paid - not a good place for killing time. Overall Wonderful service and food.

Kind, well-spoken, gentle, efficient, always a smile on her face and she went above and beyond. I had a 12:15 pm reservation. Unfortunately a group was taking much longer than expected. I waited over 30+ mins to be seated and so yes, I could've made a scene, but that wouldn't be me. Phoebe could've just let things be ... you know? Because "it is what it is". But she didn't. Once she seated me and my friend, she offered to take photos for me and of me. SO thoughtful! She also brought me a beautiful ice cream with a sparkling candle in it. SO sweet! She smiled at me every time she walked by almost as a way to make sure I was doing OK and feeling good. She was WAY more attentive than our female server who looked, sounded and acted like she couldn't leave work soon enough. Wasn't going to let her dampen my birthday though... Food tasted good. Presentation was beautiful. The male server who took over was SUPERB. Genuinely happy to "close out" our transaction with him. He was super attentive and willing to make everything go well. Thank you, Phoebe and male server for making my birthday memorable. XO

You only have about 5 or 6 spaces since it seems like the rest of the spaces have a "no parking" sign in front of each space... wtf... The place was nicely decorated and quaint. Loved the vibe. We walked in at 8am, opening time, and there were two parties sitting already. We got seated and looked at the menu. Our waitress was very friendly and mentioned that the Queens Breakfast, and the Montreal Smoked Brisket were the popular dishes. I decided on the Omelette Al Tartufo and my wife decided on the Montreal Smoked Brisket with Poached Egg. The Omelette Al Tartufo was good. Had a good earthy taste of the truffle. They had truffle paste so a hint of real truffle was there. There was a bit of melted cheese in there but there was a good balance. My wife had the Montreal Smoked meat with poached egg, which was also good. Pastrami-like protein with a poached egg, presented in a croissant. Very good, but very filling. Eat this, and you won't be having lunch! All in all, good food, and good service.

Vegan breakfast options that too savory are hard to come by. You're limited to soy or coconut yogurt or just potatoes but this place had buddha bowl, tofu bowl, ramen, salads. So many options. Additionally they can make modifications to accomodate any requirements. We had our coffees made with soy milk and sugar free syrup. Everything is plated so beautifully. Super fast and friendly service. You must reserve ahead online a day before atleast before you go to ensure they confirm a spot because the seating is limited. We were shocked to find another couple sitting at our reserved table--frankly, I hadn't anticipated it would be a shared table for eight in the first place. To make matters worse, we were rushed to order and pay the bill. After that couple left, another pair were seated at our six-person table without any explanation. Our dishes arrived in two separate waves with a 10-minute gap. They also automatically added an 18% tip for parties of more than five people, which I expect at least we should have a private table. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, the owner came out and became confrontational and aggressive. He raised his voice, saying I could "tell him what I am not satisfied with." Then he offered a refund, which I immediately declined, and afterward snatched a package of coffee from the counter and offered it as compensation. I refused again--it felt more like an insult than a genuine apology. After we posted our reviews, the owner privately messaged my friend, asking us to remove them and citing the "small Chinese community" as a reason we should support each other. That's incredibly manipulative. Using community guilt to pressure customers into deleting honest feedback is inappropriate and only reinforces our negative experience. I will not be returning.

A couple random pieces tossed in a container and sent out like that's acceptable? It's honestly disgusting and shows a complete lack of quality control. At this point, I would've been better off ordering McDonald's for a third of the price, because at least it would've shown up hot and edible.
