Belinda must have overheard me mention they were for his girlfriend and, to our surprise, wrapped them up with beautiful cellophane paper and placed them in a gift bag for him. When the items were not there I asked where they were located and was told the owner had taken many items back. This was the definition "bait and switch" and false advertising. The complete lack of recognition by the employees that customers were there because of the sale advertised photos was completely appalling. This company and its owner Catherine Baron suck.

For example, a vintage Simba cookie jar for $20.00. But, there were 2 antique milk glass vases - one was unique and funky for $6.00, meanwhile the other was not as unique and not as large and priced at $5.00. (Just an example not necessarily a criticism). I would revisit especially if I was on the hunt for a unique item.

Spoiler alert, my work with this CT location is positive and I'll give details below, however, I'd like to address one reviewer's comments. The Southern Az CT has very, very little control over what we bidders are willing to pay for items and almost all bidding starts at $1 so if someone felt their family did not receive what they should have, pls understand, as bidders we are looking for a bargain--most auction bidders are--and Unless an item is very unique, scarce or custom--when the bids go higher than we'd like to pay we just stop bidding and go elsewhere. This explains why items sell far below retail--that is the point as far as we buyers are concerned. Now I'd like to tell you that I live in Ohio so anything I've won in these particular auctions must be shipped to me, which I, of course, pay for and consider part of the cost of my finds. I've had many occasions to work with these folks and believe me, like you I would not give my money to a company unless they provided me Stellar and careful customer service. I have returned to their auctions, and will continue to do so because they've photographed each item from multiple angles in proper light, written a detailed description with any known history, and pointed out any known flaws so that I'm always left knowing exactly what I'm looking at on their website. Once I win an item (usually several!), they write to me, attach an itemized invoice and provide me with an estimate of what packing,, shipping and insurance will cost. Let me tell you, these folks are fearless regarding what they will carefully pad, pack and ship to me. My first experience with them was truly surprising as I bid on three pairs of table lamps--with shades. It did not occur to me until I received them how much time and care it took to pack these unwieldy lamps, shades and other items. I knew then that this crew was experienced and had confidence in their knowledge of how to ship such items that did not drain my bank account. Out of six lamps, six shades and numerous other objects, one ceramic lamp's base was a little damaged, however, this was due to a previous repair attempt which they'd informed me of before it was shipped so the choice to take the risk was mine and in this one instance it did not pay off but it's an easy fix so I didn't even bother mentioning it to them or ups as neither were at fault and I like to tinker! Here's the bottom line folks--I can only speak to the obvious care they take with my items and me as a customer but if I lived in the Tucson area and had need for a downsizing or relocation service I would call them quickly and without hesitating because they've proven themselves, on three occasions, to be caring, thorough and forthright--all the best qualities any of us should search for and other companies would do well to emulate. Grant is a genius, and a generally good guy, to boot…read more When my father passed away and left his house and all his worldly possessions behind, I was overwhelmed with the process of how to "get rid" of it all! If you can imagine, having to clear out an entire home can be an overwhelming experience - however, Grant's amazing staff (Ana and Sam, I'm looking at you!) made the entire process manageable and in retrospect, a rewarding experience. Grant's dedicated crew should be commended and recognized for the way they evaluated the home and its contents, set realistic expectations of the sale and final proceeds, and even ensured the home was packed with desirable goods from other estates that complimented the items already in my father's home. Each one of the employees handled his home and property with the utmost of respect and care, and it really paid off when the sale date hit - the place was PACKED with buyers. It was so busy, most of the stuff was sold the first day! Grant's sales are so popular, people were lining up three hours before the sale - crazy! My thought about Integrity Estate Sales is that anyone facing a move, downsizing, or liquidation due to death, and in need of a team who will get the job done, would be remiss not to use their services. Wow Where do I begin. I've been a photographer and a collector of cameras for over 50 years. So I…read morewas happy to see that integrity was selling a nice collection of cameras and lenses at one of their estate sales. So much so that I drove nearly one hour one way to attend their sale. It was a nice collection but the prices were pretty high. Nothing that surprises me because that happens at estate sales. And it was also nice that one of the gentlemen working the sale said that they were somewhat flexible on the prices so just let him know. Also he mentioned that if you were interested in an item, he had no problem with you taking it with you and looking it up to make sure you really wanted it. Just make sure to put it back if you changed your mind. All of this was pretty good. I picked up three items. A Flash meter, a lens and a Prism finder. The Lens and Prism finder were not priced. I put all three items in my bag and continued to look around the home since there was so much to see and to get a chance to check them out more closely. When I was ready to go I took the three items and went back to the room where the camera collection was displayed and immediately put the flash meter back on the table as I didn't want to pay $100 for it, and then gave the other two items to the gentleman working the check out line, to be priced. They were both priced higher than I wanted to pay so I put them back on the table and decided to leave. As I stepped outside of the entrance to the home, the gentleman working the check out tapped onto the window and motioned me to come back in. I thought great maybe he wants to make me a better deal since I never really spoke to him after he priced them for me. However much to my surprise and dismay, as I entered the room he asked me what I had done with the all of the items I was looking at. Then he motioned for me to open my bag in order to see if I was trying to steal them. Now I don't like to play the race card but the optics were pretty bad. As a Black man in my late 60's and as the only African American at this sale of over a hundred people, many of whom were standing in line near us as he was making this accusation, it was quite startling. It monetarily took me back to the days when this kind of thing was quite common. Like I said I'm in my late 60's. I pointed to the items that he could clearly see were on the table. I mentioned to him that I didn't see him checking the bags of anyone else as they were leaving and he said something that I couldn't make out. And In a somewhat half hearted attempt at an apology he explained that he has had camera items stolen in the past. Well that's not my problem and instead of putting an employee to watch the table more closely, it's easier I guess to try to embarrass customers, (or should I say customer) as I was the only one held to such scrutiny, and accuse them of stealing. Thats really too bad in this day and age. I've been going to estate sales in Arizona for over 30 years and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me So I still maintain a good over all feeling about the people that run these kinds of sales. But this experience with Integrity Estate Sales has left me with a very bad feeling which I'm sure to share with my friends.
