Having a background in both structural engineering and construction, I knew this would be a bit of a challenging fix. Unlike other vendors I reached out to for a quote where I sent photos and was provided an estimate without a site visit, D'Mitri and team were transparent and said they couldn't make a detailed assessment based on the photos so sent someone out to visit. Once on site, the technician evaluated the issue, took photos, and was upfront in acknowledging this was a complex issue that he wasn't able to handle, but would discuss with the team. They determined that this was out of their area of expertise. What I really valued was 1) prompt and clear communication - they left email, texts, and calls to make sure I was informed and 2) they knew their limits. I've had too many poor experiences of contractors who say they're able to do a job only to realize they're in over their heads once they start the project and are asking for additional funds because their estimates were way off. While I can't speak to the quality of work, they left a great impression on me and will be keeping them on the books in case I need another home repair.

That extensive project was done well, managed the things we discovered in the old walls, and made right some minor missteps. I had explained how important redoing the backyard was, and while they don't do that work they did go out and find an excellent partner and worked very closely to ensure the schedules worked out. The second project was smaller, mostly just refinishing the house before selling it. This time around they put up with my schedule issues (the other aspects of getting ready to sell caused trouble) and were patient and helpful throughout. Their subcontractors were all friendly and professional. Bottom Line: would use again and recommend to anyone.
