I started coming to this place when I lived right down the street from them in Southampton, and even though I've moved to Philly, the drive is always worth it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the selection is great, and they have the absolute best prices on whatever you're looking for. I don't even bother shopping online because they'll usually have it for the lowest price I can find, or only a bit more, which is worth it to keep these guys around. Their NFA services are also great; I hate dealing with paperwork, but they make it fast and easy. Their engraving services are also the best I've seen the area. I purchased a used Steyr Aug stock from them on GunBroker. They said it was in perfect condition. The stock arrived with a hairline crack. I contacted them and asked for authorization to return the stock. They said: they couldn't see the crack; the crack wasn't serious; it wasn't cracked when they sent it; they had a photo showing it wasn't cracked; they did not insure it when shipping; they would not accept a return; I should try to get Steyr to warranty the broken stock. I contacted my credit card company and told them I had done so. Then they seemed more interested and said: we will send you a return label; we will refund you when we get the stock back; we have a brick-and-mortar store and lots of great reviews. I don't believe any of it. Their customer service is angry and rude. They implied several times that I was trying to cheat them in some way. I said: I will just let my credit card company handle it from here. Then they reported my emails to them asking for a return to Amazon AWS as spam (weird) and left a dishonest review for me on GunBroker. They've had 40 bad reviews on GunBroker since they signed up on July 5, 2016. I've had one (from them) since I signed up on March 12, 2000. I'd recommend never buying anything from them. read more

My brother recent tried to purchase a gun from this retail store after attending the Oaks Gun Convention. He gave them his information and they said they would do a background check and he would hear 7-10 days back. A week goes by.... nothing. He calls on the 11th day, and talked to a rude sales associate who basically said: it's past the day we would let you know and we would've called you if you were approved. Then PROCEEDED to keep the additional deposit he put on the gun that he never heard from. He went to another retailer for a gun and imagine this... he was approved the same day. I don't trust this retailer for weaponry and never gave my brother the refundable portion of his deposit back. Think twice before purchasing from this retailer. read more

Now I just go straight to them without shopping around. Salesmen are down to earth, no militia tight muscle shirts gun on every hip type here. Very easy going and treat you like a person rather than a "Karen". They have a huge selection of almost any firepower you are looking for. It's a small shop but it's stocked to the gills. I had a number of firearms that I collected over the years that I wanted to trade out of. I was hesitant to sell since I know that a lot of shops don't make very good offers. A staff member at Guardian recommended that I visit Bunker gun shop and he was right. Chris from Bunker made very fair offers on all of my firearms. Being an appraiser (non-firearms) by trade I was curious about the value of each firearm. Despite my question asking, Chris was patient and took the time to educate me on each offer and why it made sense. I was a little high on some items, and low on others. Even when I guessed too low Chris corrected me and made a fair offer. I was impressed with the breadth of his and his staff's knowledge and wide selection, particularly with respect to suppressors. One of my favorite shops in the area. While the place is small, they have a huge variety of new and used handguns, long guns, and shotguns. Their prices are great and better yet they give very good valuations of firearms you're looking to trade in. I've been to other gun shops in the area where friendly customer service is hit or miss, but these guys do not fall into that category. They are great folks to do business with. There really aren't any stupid questions to ask them, so whether you're a first time gun buyer or an experienced shooter, these guys will take great care of you. It was by recommendation of another gun shop that I found my way to Bunker Gun Shop. Though a small storefront footprint, once inside, you find the entire interior wallpapered with long guns and braced pistols, while the the glass cases contained just about any new and used caliber, brand and quality. It was impressive, from an optics perspective. The guys behind the counter were helpful and knowledgeable. they didn't try to intimidate you. I wasn't planning on buying anything that day, but walked out with a Geissele SE 14.5 anyway, as their competitors, whom suggested them no less, we're out of stock on that item. I returned the following week for a Hyperion QD suppressor, for which they honored the processing discount I was promised on previous visit. What can I say, great inventory, prices, and staff.
