The prices right away seemed a little steep, but I decided to go for it anyways... it seemed like a nice establishment, and possibly a chain, that was brought on base. The meal came out pretty quickly and I excitedly took my first bite... and then retreated. The bread used for the philly cheesesteak was so dense, I could barely bite through the bread, nevertheless negotiate a bite through the steak and cheese on the inside. I decided to just eat the contents of the sandwich with a fork and knife. There was little evidence of the bread being toasted, which I think would have made the bread more supple for this type of sandwich. It was almost like the bread was only mostly baked, if that makes any sense. Anyways, thankfully the fries were edible and I ordered the mozzarella sticks. But $20 bucks for a sandwich and appetizer? it seems a bit expensive. I hope to try other things on the menu to see if my mind can be changed about this place.

The bacon and cheese were good, but the burger was significantly overcooked and dry. Fries were good. Others in our group got nachos, wings, and pizza. The pizza is the pre-made variety, but it was a hit, and the wings seemed to be popular as well. The nachos looked good and came with a lot of jalapenos and salsa and sour cream. The event was hosted by the Minot Chamber of Commerce and half a dozen other sponsors. I love that they have kept a tradition of hanging mugs on the wall that are personalized and an incentive for people to reuse these mugs ($2 draft beer and $1 sodas on Fridays 4-6pm). The mugs themselves are $20 and engravable. I am going back for one on Friday, since they have my blue moon beer on tap! This is a great venue for large groups of people. They have a large bingo board that was lots of fun and plenty of room for a two-sided buffet style serving room. I will definitely be returning for lunch, as I have heard they have an awesome salad bar!

We were permitted access 4hrs prior to decorate and food offered was a staff-served taco bar. They wore gloves but no masks & did not require patrons to wear masks. Hand Sanitizer at each table, for convenience. We were allowed to bring in cake and cupcakes, as well as non-alcoholic beverages for the non-drinkers. Staff were friendly and fun. We had a fabulous evening and never felt rushed or unwelcome, despite kids popping some balloons.
