Obsessed with this place, always my go to for brunch. It is a vegan and vegetarian spot, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Met up with a friend here today and, as usual, it did not disappoint. Great service and staff. Quite ambience. We started with an iced matcha, smooth, refreshing, and the perfect way to ease into brunch. Then I went for the avocado toast while my friend ordered the mushroom calamari. Let me start with the calamari, the texture, flavor, and overall taste were so good. As a vegan, I have to say it almost reminded me of fried chicken strips, crispy, savory, and incredibly satisfying. The avocado toast was perfect. Fresh, smashed avocado topped with sprouts and served on two slices of seeded bread, finished with cilantro mustard seeds, curry oil, and a slice of lime on the side. Simple, balanced, and full of flavor. A solid, no notes brunch choice.

The service and ambiance were great! We were able to sit wherever we'd like, because I had my dogs with me we sat outside. It was a beautiful day in nyc. the waitress offered us dog treats for them. So kind! Now on to the food.. ordered the juice flight, Açai bowl and I think it was called a country side dish. The juice flight wasn't the best, the options I chose weren't my favorite besides the passion fruit juice. The açaí bowl was fresh, crunchy and juicy!!! My country side dish, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the biscuit was buttery and flaky. Would visit again!

I think that this place was good. The hotel that we stayed at gave a discount if we went there so it was close and we just came to have a snack before we left to go other places. I will say that when we were there a few of the things on the menu were just out of stock so it was a little bit harder to find smaller appetizers because the menu wasn't very extensive. What we did have was good. But I don't think it was my favorite stop in Brooklyn. I enjoyed the mushroom Pate. I thought that it was just delicious. I enjoyed all the little accoutrements that you could put with it. For me. I would have loved more bread and more of the pickles. But it really did hit the spot. I did get one of their fresh juices. Going down. It was delicious. I thought that it was one of the tastiest things that I had in a while. But my stomach did not like something that fresh and I was unwell after a little bit. But I think that it was mostly because it was a pear juice and you know that pears gets things moving. I would probably get it again, and not learn my lesson. That's how much I liked it. I think that this place would be good for breakfast because they have a breakfast deal with a coffee and a sandwich for $10. And that is pretty affordable. But for just appetizers, I don't know if this would be my go-to place considering they were out of some of the stuff whenever we went.

I'm no vegan/vegetarian and I didn't know this restaurant was before dining in. We'd been in the area and it had a great vibe and a nice crowd so we decided to try it. The server was great as he helped me choose as a first timer. The Hummus was the most delightful bite here by the way. Hubby loved the Breakfast Sandwich. I liked the 'Chicken' - which was actually mushrooms- but the waffle not so much. It was gluten free and the flavor was good but the texture did not pass the vibe test for me. The mushroom on the other hand was fire!!

Friday, 6/6/2025 - Ate at Butcher's Daughter. Address is 271 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211 (b/t Driggs Ave & Roebling St) in Williamsburg - North Side. Staffs were nice here. Very friendly and professional. Restaurant looked clean. They bring you a glass jar of water. Water tasted good. Salad was so good. Perfect dressing and the goat cheese wasn't too over powering. I love the quinoa crunch on the salad. The other dish was really good too. There's one bathroom for both men and women. I liked this little restaurant. They didn't rush us out after we fished eating and chatting to catch up on life.

We had a great brunch at The Butchers Daughter. They were very accommodating with our big group, plus a toddler, and the wait staff were super friendly and helpful! I have to eat gluten free so I was excited that they had some great options, I would highly recommend the waffles! Some of the pastries are also gluten free, though not all of them, so make sure to check with your server when ordering. Overall I really enjoyed the brunch here and hope to be back some time soon!

This spot was nearby the hotel I was staying at and as we were walking by we decided to give it a try as we wanted outdoor seating with our pups. The place is spacious and has a good amount of seating available and the instrumental music is a nice touch. The bird poop around the outer tables is a bit of a nuisance but totally understandable for a NYC spot and I'd say outside of their control. We were greeted promptly and given a choice of where to sit and we opted for an outside/sidewalk table (due to the aforementioned pups). Our server came and walked us through a few options on the menu, please keep in mind that this place is FULLY vegan so there are only plant based meat alternatives on the menu. With that I opted for an açaí bowl and my fiancé went for the country breakfast. We also got the juice flight share and to try. The açaí bowl was great. I asked for a side of honey to go with it and it just the last touch it needed. The honey was fresh and tasty. My fiancé enjoyed the country breakfast, I only tried a potato from it so can't speak to it otherwise (but she finished the plate). The juices were a mixed bag. The green juice was strong but good. The passion was probably our favorite, but the others were just ok in terms of taste. I'd go back for something else or even for another bowl with the raspberry and blackberry options which I don't see too often. Oh. They also hooked our pups up with housemade treats which was awesome. As a non-vegan it's hard for me to rate this place. But my experience and food were enjoyable so I rated based on that.

Updating- this has become a go to spot. The solar power smoothie is great, the elixirs and shots are great, and the ambience is super pleasant, bright, and airy.

T'was a cold cold Saturday in Brooklyn, snow on the way, gloomy sky I knew just what would make my 4 mile bike ride worth every freezing minute Yes, the best no-guilt comfort food in the world at the butchers daughter No wait, a table by the window, 80s pop playlist going Look at those gluten free vegan waffles. Lavender with lemon vegan butter and coconut whipped cream. Here's my protip: alternate between pairing bites of waffle with the butter and syrup and the whipped cream and fruit. I know, right? The liquid vitality and rose cardamom latte just made it the perfect brunch

SPICY KALE CAESAR

My husband found this restaurant- we are always looking for new vegetarian spots and this looked promising based on the menu. Great neighborhood, fun vibes, easy street parking. We were seating immediately by the super friendly host. We started with drinks- a green juice and pear mezcalina. Juice was delish, cocktail was pretty good but pretty weak in my opinion. Our apps came quickly- a spicy kale ceasar and buffalo broccoli wings. The kale Caesar was a 6 for me, a 10 for my husband. Kale was a little too big with rough stems and didn't taste like Caesar at all. It was tangy and crunchy but again, not a Caesar. The broccoli wings were amazing! Not too spicy ( they have a bbq option as well if you really don't like spice) really nice crispy batter and delicious herby ranch dressing with a little tang. Unfortunate I forgot to take pics of our mains- husband had pad thai which he loved! I had the beet burger. It was really good! Delicious homemade veggie burger with lettuce, tomato, fried onions, melty cheese, and special sauce. Definitely could've used a heavier shmear of the sauce. The burger came with a few halved fingerling potatoes which were very good! We were really stuffed at this point lol. Then the super nice host asked us if we wanted almond milk cappuccinos gratis and we happily accepted. All in all it was a lovely spot for dinner but I think it's better suited to a lunch/brunch situation. The restaurant is really pretty and they have sliding glass windows that I'm sure they fully open on a gorgeous day. We would definitely come back!

I really loved the ambiance and the food was honestly so good. My only complaint is that the portions felt a little small for what you pay. But it's in such a cute area with lots to do nearby. Overall, it's a fun brunch spot.

I spoiled my vegetarian friend by bringing her here before she traveled back to CA. She enjoyed the food so much and she help me pick what good as I'm not a vegan. We order... - 2 booster shots: our server forgot the order, so we got them at the end. I had this kind of shot before, but their shots were very good. 10/10 - Daily Soup: came in big bowl so we just share it 8/10 - Gem Salad: interesting taste 8/10 - Spicy Kale Caesar: crunchy and delicious 9/10 Funny story about how I know this restaurant. I live in the neighborhood, and I always walk my dog around the area. I saw this restaurant had open space and seats on the sidewalk with very natural tree and plants decorated all around. I just loved it and one time I was hanging out with another group of friends that weren't vegan. We were hungry and want to eat somewhere and I brought them here :) After my non vegan friend saw the menu in front of the restaurant, she made fun of me then we went somewhere else. I still wanted to try the food here but didn't have chance to come since ppl around me only eat meat. So, this was a great time because I had a vegetarian friend came visited and I DID IT!

Loveeeee dining here when I'm in Brooklyn! Super cute, hip spot! Dining here makes me feel like a local. They have a great selection of juices, health shots, and specialty drinks on the menu. We got the watermelon salad, and a whole assortment of different items on the menu. All of it was delicious. Our server was also so kind, accommodating, patient, and made sure we had a good experience.

Dining area!
